口味不错，辣的辣到好处。柴火烧的鱼（黑鱼）味道很鲜，这个是主打菜，假如没有这个噱头，估计感觉也就一般了。其它也就一般般了。

印象老灶台（标志门店），作为张家界的第一站，从碧桂园凤凰办完入住后直接前往武陵源汽车站打算转车往黄龙洞，在武陵源汽车站往武陵源门方向看到这家，后来陆续在张家界市区、黄龙洞附近都有看到印象老灶台的店，应该是张家界一家比较大的餐饮连锁。店面装修得古香古色，每个桌子是一个灶台，如果点鱼的话就要用上那个灶台。　　　第一站当然还是必须得来尝试下三下锅，点了一份苗家三下锅，后来才发现景区附近的的确都是忽悠人的呀，比起市区的来说，差了一大截。张家界三下锅，又名土家三下锅。是将腊肉、豆腐、萝卜一锅炖，做成&ldquo;合菜&rdquo;，味道爽口，后来人们把这道菜叫作&ldquo;三下锅&rdquo;。其实简单来说就是个大杂烩，但是的确非常下饭。　　　老灶一绝，主要食材是鸡蛋，觉得这里的鸡蛋特别好吃。　　　湘西砣粉，又糯又Q的口感，略带点辣味。　　　餐前送的炸玉米和米饭的碗也是很有特色。
