Product. If you run a few more stalls, you can find cheaper prices. The stall owners seem to prefer the original price for your goods, not the tourist price. And we don't bargain at all when some stalls buy things because the price is really fair. There are fresh vegetables, meat, gold, gems, interior decorations, shoes, clothes, textiles, hairdressing, daily necessities and more. This market feels more like a traditional market, though still full of gadgets like other markets. The place is crowded, with a food area and a dressing area. You can find some good deals, sneakers for $1, sports T-shirts for $4, hammocks for $2, basically no matter how much they open, you can pay no more than half the price. Regular sports T-shirts start at $15, after a bargain, $4 can buy them, no, just go shopping.
The central market is very close to the hotel we stayed in. When we walked, we saw a yellow building with a lot of people inside, and we walked in. This is the central market. Like the old market, everything is sold, but many locals are also buying things here. We just went around and there was nothing we wanted to buy, and lp ended up spending $3 on a skirt, cheap enough.
The central market is one of Siem Reap's best-sized markets, and many travel guides have mentioned it. Unlike the old market, which is specifically aimed at foreign tourists, this market is geared towards Siem Reap locals. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we did not go in, everyone went to Siem Reap to travel, if there is enough time, you can go into the market to stroll around, maybe there will be surprises.
It's on the old market. I don't know how to divide so many markets. I feel that it is just for tourists. Next to the old market, opposite the art market. In fact, the things I buy are the same. I don't think there is any difference.
You can come in English. Most things and services are one dollar. Room service in the hotel has to be consumed, about 1,000 Cambodian Riel/day people, so it is quite cost-effective to exchange Cambodian currency at the airport in advance.
