The Jindi Tibetan rebuilt Huacheng Temple in Tang Dynasty, and Jiuhua Street became a rudimentary shape; Jiuhua Mountain incense was extremely strong in Ming and Qing Dynasty, and Jiuhua Street was initially formed with Huacheng Temple as the center. Foxing was prosperous, Jiuhua Street was booming, and it was famous for a time in the southeast. Jiuhua Street is the center of the holy place, the monasteries and Buddhist activities are concentrated, it is a gathering place for pilgrims and tourists to and from the south to the north. For more than a thousand years, the Buddha's country has been vicissitudes of prosperity and decline, and Jiuhua Street has also passed through the peaks and valleys.

Jiuhua Street is a mountain basin with an average altitude of about 640 meters, surrounded by green peaks and green mountains. The area is about 4 square kilometers, which is the core scenic spot of Jiuhua Mountain and is a distribution center for pilgrims. Old street shops, temples, monks coexist, agriculture and Zen are the place of the cultural landscape of Jiuhua Mountain. The development has a long history. As early as the Longan period in East Jin (401 AD), there were Tianzhu famous monks cup crossing under Furong Mountain to create Maoxi, pioneering Jiuhua Mountain Buddhist activities.

Jiuhua Old Street is an antique commercial block in Jiuhuashan area! It is a good place to rest and adjust when visiting Jiuhuashan! There are many shops and restaurants here! There are many local specialties!

Jiuhua Old Street, just at the foot of Jiuhua Mountain, there are more than a dozen shops on the old street, where you can buy local products of Jiuhua Mountain, or you can buy various Buddhist books and incense. At night, taking a walk on the old street is also a good place.

Jiuhua Old Street is talking about the old street. It is actually some commercial shops. I don’t like it very much. It may be the reason why I never bring souvenirs when I go out on a trip. So I don’t have much interest in this place. I don’t need to come here to see Huizhou architecture.
