Today is Saturday, the weekend market in the rock area is open as scheduled, it may be rainy, tourists and customers are not as much as usual, everywhere is wet, I also walked around regularly and left.
Today is Saturday, as usual, there should be a folk market at the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so I will leave for the intercity train 🚉 and arrive at this market location immediately after breakfast. As always, the market is still at the foot of the North Bridge of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the old place. From afar, it can be seen that under one large umbrella, there are stalls of one merchant, selling everything, of course, the most popular is the food stalls, all kinds of flavors of various countries' cuisine. There are also clothing shoes and hats and art works. I even saw the old cameras of the last century (all antiques). The price is not expensive. I will definitely buy one next time. The beautiful Sydney even has a folk market so elegant, I really like it.
Markets are back and better than ever. They are spread over a few blocks and combined with outdoor dining areas. Great atmosphere and old world charm. Sydney weekend must-see. The rock market adds highlights to the rocky area near Sydney Harbour. The market is open only on weekends and is mainly for visitors disembarking from nearby cruise ships. The stalls here offer beads, necklaces, shadows, etc., which people can find in similar markets elsewhere. Prices tend to be high. There are also food stalls serving juice, ice cream and snacks. For me these are better than the actual market. To be sure, nothing will be missed without going to the market, but the rocky area itself is worth a visit as its narrow paths and old cabins have history everywhere.
Visited the best market, no one, come to Sydney must not miss. Follow the roundabout cobblestone path, you will find more and more stalls on both sides of the vendor, all sold from all over the world of exotic treasures, absolutely no in the stream of gadgets. There are bars, small restaurants, all very good, the atmosphere is very good. In short, come to Sydney to come here to visit once!
The weather here is very pleasant, the atmosphere is very relaxing and not crowded. Under the bridge are stalls and trucks with familiar Turkish vegetables, burgers, juices and coffee tables, and Danny Lee BBQ offers a wide variety of barbecue skewers for travelers with food adventure ideas and willing to try alligators, scorpions and kangaroos, all of which are free. Worth it.
For half a day, I took the ferry from Piermont to the ring pier, intending to go further afield. After arriving, I decided to hang out locally first. I stumbled across the Rocky Zone weekend market in the process. I love the way market stalls stagger on the streets. From gorgeous silks, linen jackets and kimonos to food, jewelry and beeswax food packaging, there is a wide range of them, not to mention talented musicians. There's a relaxed atmosphere throughout the market and it's one of the highlights of my trip to Sydney.
Right in the middle of the rocky area. Very easy to find. There are roadside stalls here on Fridays and Saturdays, mainly to supply some roadside snacks and some small goods, but the scale is not very large, there are many shops that will also put some tables and chairs in the road, customers can eat while sunbathing. The roadside stalls here are also very close to the seaside cruise terminal, so if you happen to be visiting on the weekend, it is not bad to take a look, but if you come here specially, you don't have to. After all, there are many places to eat and play.
