Villa di La Digue

Spent four nights at Le Domaine Orangerie and had a lovely time. The location is great and Le Digue is stunning. Love the entire Island vibe of Le Digue. The hotel is separated by a road but don’t let that put you off it just means people are cycling past - hardly any vehicles. My only criticism is communication. I had emailed ahead of time to say it was our 40th wedding anniversary and they asked me to prove it by emailing wedding certificate which I did. I then got a confirmation that I was on the ‘anniversary package’ which included fizz and snacks on room on arrival and 10% off spa treatments. In arrival no fizz - just message on bed saying happy anniversary. I could cope with that but when I tried to book spa treatments with reception they asked to see all the emails I had been sent and seemed not to know that an ‘ anniversary package’ existed. After phone calls it was all confirmed but I felt like I was asking for something I wasn’t entitled to. On the last but one day I mentioned to reception that we had never received the bottle of fizz and she said she would sort it- never happened. It’s a small thing but just made to feel a bit daft for asking - don’t offer these things if you can’t follow up with the goods. Shout out to Elvin who tirelessly took us up the hill in the buggy to our room he was always smiling and a delight and Audrey in the restaurant - lovely girl. Despite hiccups would return had a great time.

Supposed to have 4 nights here, wished we had a day only and not bothered staying over. After the first night we left and stayed at Patatran Hotel which is amazing in comparison and cheaper. Sadly they didn’t have any rooms available for next 2 nights so had to return to La Digue Island Lodge ☹️. Only did another night then left the island, definitely the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Room and bed tiny (yellow house), a/c didn’t work properly, noisy and varying temps., so had to switch off and in 28c temp at night was unbearable. Asked if they had other rooms to move and a blunt no, even though we came across people leaving early (as hated it). The very few people we spoke to (which wasn’t many and we tried) all Disliked the place. Two couples who were staying in beach bungalows described it to us as like camping with a decent bathroom. Food nothing special, did HB, first night they ran out of things and some eventually got replaced but as we were leaving. Was like a canteen with not a lot of choice. Breakfast worst we had in all of the Seychelles, not much choice, hardly any fruit, bland. Staff in canteen really not pleasant, like they didn’t want to be there, and plates not cleared away very quickly. Went to bar before and after dinner, no one there hardly and again had to wait for drinks, ordered mine and waited around 20 mins for a cocktail from one of the staff. Room we stayed in dusty and old, although bathroom was big and best part about the room. Pool area grubby and pool was dirty, didn’t venture in it. Security guy on the gate the only friendly staff we came across, This place is run down and living on Its reputation it was the first on the island. Either needs shutting down or a massive refurb. It is so over priced for what you get, there are far better places on the island to stay. Definitely the worst place we stayed in Seychelles really wish we’d left after 1st night and not put ourselves through this when on a holiday. Also it seems to attract very unfriendly people who want to be in bed by 8.30pm, absolutely no life after 8.00pm at night. If you want to visit La Digue do it on a day trip, you Can cycle around within 2 - 3 hrs and see all you need to see, really not a fan of the Island, so many better places to see on the Seychelles.

Program kabel disediakan untuk hiburan anda. Bilik mandi dilengkapkan dengan pancuran mandi dan kelengkapan dandanan diri percuma. Kemudahan yang disediakan merangkumi telefon serta peti besi dan cerek elektrik.

Rumah tamu pantai ini berada 2.8 km dari Little Sister dan 3.3 km dari Big Sister.Nikmati pemandangan dari taman dan gunakan kemudahan seperti akses Internet wayarles percuma dan bantuan pelancongan/tiket.Nikmati juadah di restoran ataupun berjamu selera dalam bilik dengan menggunakan perkhidmatan bilik (semasa waktu terhad) di rumah tamu. Hilangkan dahaga anda dengan minuman kegemaran anda di bar/ruang istirahat. 這是相對來説在這個價格下住的最舒心的酒店。離得碼頭也就600米左右，不用付款相對高昂的出租車費用（塞舌爾的出租車一定要discount，不然真的很貴）。拉迪格島也比較小，租一個自行車可以遊玩整個島嶼。這裏也有最美的海灘，這個海灘需要付款費用才可以去。但是有一種衹可遠觀不可褻玩的意味，風景很美，但是沙子比較硬。

這間房間本身環境應該是還可以的。但感覺住人很少的樣子，從前台到客房，都不太乾淨，生態環境的原因可以理解，但感覺日常缺少打掃和維護。 由於拖着行李箱很遠、也不方便，我們就勉強住下了，問題不太大，工作人員倒是服務還好，耐心處理了衞生問題。很友善、熱情。 不過整體看，並不建議選擇這裏。
