The hotel on arrival is more like a downgraded Premier Inn. They have no restaurant or facility on site, and everything like breakfast or other facility is at the Cumberland Hotel next door. They DO have a small gym though which for us is a saving grace. The actual room we had was excellent, a good size for london and I booked a deluxe king. However, the price of over £200 really was not worth it and I could have booked at the Cumberland next door for £20 more - a much better hotel. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, but for the £££ charged I strngly suggest booking elswhere for the same amount. The staff and rooms are great but this will be persistently a problem I think going forward.

I booked a twin room for my daughter and I. Check in was quick and they let me into my room a couple of hours early which I appreciated. The room was big for London and clean with a bath and very hot shower. We asked for a window and despite being February we were glad to open it as the room was warm. The beds were comfortable and clean with crisp cotton duvet covers. Pillows were plump and comfortable. We had a TV with basic channels, a kettle and complimentary bottled water. We were given a 50% discount for the restaurant at the neighbouring hotel. All in all, we liked our stay and would stay again.

Very warm welcome at the reception, special thanks to Dunia. The room I stayed in was in the 6th floor and it was spacious and clean. The room had a great view looking at the main street. It was a bit noisy at night due to the high street however I think that is expected.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially dunia she went out of her way to help is out!

Dunia at the reception was great ! Easy check in - and fast All the facilities are good and the location is perfect The room is clean and comfortable- drinks are complementary - and they also have a look at the environment with the “green day” - saving your housekeeping for a day will give you a free breakfast. Great initiative

I spent with my family 5 days here at thistle London park lane, if you’re a tourist the hotel is in a good position for all the attractions and monuments of the city. The hotel’s staff was really available with us and I wanna thank with Dunia from the reception for her support in our five day stay! I’ll surely book again here for the next trip in London, thank you!
