Arrived by ferry from Santa Teresa Gallura and were easily able to wheel our suitcases along the flat path to this brilliantly positioned Best Western Roy D’Aragon. We were a little early for check in but were able to log into their wifi and make calls home to family in Australia (timing important due to time difference) while we waited. Fortunately our top floor port and Citadel facing balcony room was ready well before 4pm checkin time. Receptionist was most pleasant and made sure to get us in our beautiful room as soon as possible. The bed was comfortable but room itself very compact. Not a huge problem as we only stayed 2 nights. However the balcony added to the feel of the space and we made sure to make the most of the superb view by sitting out there as often as possible. We enjoyed our breakfast on balcony with excellent coffee from Hotel’s barista and fresh baguette and pastries from nearby bakery. We also bought provisions for a dinner with that view - quiches and wine from nearby supermarket. It truly is the best view in beautiful Bonifacio - morning, sunset and after dark - when the buildings and restaurants are all lit up. Magical. Absolutely loved this hotel and town. Make sure to walk up to top of castle/citadel for incredible views of Bonifacio and the pristine sea and rocks to other side. There’s also a whole other village up there! Loved our stay at this great hotel but make sure to book the port and citadel facing room with balcony if possible. Well worth it!

L accueil du monsieur à l accent nordique fut un réel plaisir. Même pour une nuit il prend le temps de tout expliquer. Nous avons eu droit à un petit appart sur les hauteurs (faut la voiture pour remonter de la piscine) certes assez vétuste (une seule chaise longue très vieillie) et surtout forte promiscuité avec le voisin séparé par un simple mur. Pas tres discrer On a entendu toute leur conversation. Ça raisonne. Par contre très propre. Piscines très agréables et original les.matelas sur l eau. On aurait aimé que celle du bas soit réservé aux adultes car le jaccuzzi a été squatter par 4 petits d à peine 8 ou 10 ans et c est dommage. Cela devrait être interdit car ma piscine en haut est suffisamment grande pour jouer. Les transats très confortables. Le petit dej très correct. Pour une nuit c est largement suffisant. Un peu loin du centre de bonifaccio.
