The perfect place to relax. It's an extremely clean, quiet hotel, the swimming pool is an asset for the colder days, the pool hours for children may be a less pleasant point, but for those travelling without children it's perfect. The breakfast is very good, the Tertúlia restaurant serves delicious meals, as does the Bistro. Everything is perfect. I recommend the spa, Turkish bath (shame there's no eucalyptus smell in an area with so much vegetation, they could have taken that into account), and the sauna. The massages are marvellous. The most important thing I want to emphasise is the hotel staff. Attentive, careful, always with a smile. We felt at home! Thank you all, you stay in my heart!

We booked for 5 nights. Were told it was a double bedded room. It had a 3/4 bed with broken springs with chipboard nailed in place to replace the correct springing. There was only one chair for both of us to sit on. The bed was too high to sit on as your feet wouldn't touch the floor. I had just had a hip replacement and so my wife had to half sit and half lie on an extremely uncomfortable materess. The water was never hot enough to bath or shower. The toilet seat was broken. The food was dreadful. We ordered steak one night with vegetables. It arrived almost raw (I asked for mine well done). All that was on the plate was a steak and potato chips (crisps) no vegetables at all. Another night I ordered shrimps with salad and pasta. It only had 4 half shrimps, no salad and a plate of cold pasta. We left a day early as we needed to shower and clean up and couldn't sleep as the bed was so uncomfortable (room 104) The manager was extremely rood when we asked to get something done about it. I wouldn't give this hotel any more than a 2 star rating and advise everyone not to book to stay there. It completely ruined our stay in Portugal!!

Stayed for 1 night in August 2024, the hotel is grand and very welcoming. The receptionists are very helpful, even suggested a great hotel in the next town over (Zé Pataco in Canas de Senhorim) and it served great food highly recommend it. The breakfast at the hotel was good, a selection of fresh breads, cereals, fresh fruit, pancakes and scrambled eggs to name a few. The only down fall I had were signage is a bit poor, location foelr the swimming pool, bars and other areas in the hotel was not existent. I would definitely stay again as everything else was great.
