Hotel Beach di Daerah Faro, Portugal

We had a five night break in Faro and stayed at this hotel, conveniently sited overlooking the marina. The airport bus drops you within a three minute walk of the hotel and the train station is just a little further away. We were fortunate to have a lovely room with balcony from which we could see the old town beyond the marina. The room was very comfortable and of a good size too. One disadvantage of the hotel is the small lifts from the reception area to upper floors: we used the stairs for easier access once we had taken bags to our room. The breakfast was very good with a pleasant area outside which was quite warm even in November. Entertainment was provided by a resident pianist and added a little to the general ambience of breakfast time. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodation and would certainly stay there again if we were to revisit Faro.

We paid 176 Euro, incl breakfast for 3 persons for an old hotel with simple furnitures and very small rooms. Sorry, we travel a lot around the world, and can compare price-performance ratios. This price for this room is ridiculous. There is also no pick up service from the airport as announced in trip.com! The service was good, we checked in at 01:30 in the morning. The staff is very friendly. But again not worthy at all. Sorry for this harsh review but we are very disappointed and not sure to use trip.com again.

Fantastic service and location, we arrive early and the hotel let us check in early, buffet breakfast very nice and all reception staff very friendly and helpful , will come back again.

I stayed here on my first solo trip/my birthday. The hotel was perfect and the staff were lovely & helpful! They offered suggestions on places to visit and things to do. I even got a surprise bottle of prosecco and cake delivered to my room on my birthday morning! Very quiet & peaceful area, with so many places nearby (10 min walk or less) but if you don’t feel like exploring, the poolside area, spa & rooftop bar could be more then enough. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options too. 10/10 from me!

I was suspicious as soon as the front desk clerk demanded payment before check in claiming it’s a law in Portugal. This was our third hotel stay in Portugal and the previous 2 hotels made no such claim. The room is tiny. The hotel is outdated. Our ceiling is pictured below which has water damage. The only nice thing is the fact that the beach is so close.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location - we went at a time where it was a little quieter but still sunny. They town is small and cute and during summer I’m sure there’s more entertainment. The staff in the beginning weren’t as welcoming but after that they were all very pleasant. We did mention it’s our anniversary but as this was in the beginning with staff that weren’t bothered nothing was done. Other staff were very very nice and always so helpful. Breakfast was lovely and the bar at night was also lovely.

I would love to give this place a poor review to put people off going so I could keep it for myself but that would be doing the staff a real disservice. I can't fault this place at all- the place was spotless inside and out and the rooms were well equipped with fridge ,safe and air conditioning and lovely hot showers. The breakfast had something for everyone and changed each day. The staff are the real star of the show though and nothing is too much trouble. We mentioned we were looking for worry beads and the next thing we knew one of the waitresses at breakfast went across the street and brought back a selection for us to choose from and purchase from the shop opposite. Special mention to Ioanna who was so friendly and up for a laugh she really made our holiday. Great Central location but quiet with a lovely small pool and pool area. Can't wait to come back!

For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

Stayed for a night on our return from Portimao. Room was nice and clean with a comfy bed. We had a room at the front with a nice balcony, although on a busy street the double glazing kept the noise out. A 2 minute walk from the train station and a short walk to the attractions. Breakfast was ok and the breakfast room a good clean space. Staff were friendly. For the price a very good hotel.

Hotel Aeromor is a really convenient hotel located on the FARO beach ***** . A 6 minute taxi ride from the airport in a very beauitful location. The check in experience was very pleasant and straight forward and the service was great. The hotel do offer breakfast at a additional cost but you will not be disappointed . The breakfast is a buffet breakfast and I enjoyed it very much as everything was delicious. We booked a room with a lovely sea view .. The room was very clean , the bed very comfortable and bathroom although very basic did the job. You get a nice kettle and snack bits and it was really kond how they gave us a whole fruit bowl to devour . The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great and I love how they laid out the bathroom extras neatly . Our room came with a balcony and it did not disappont. Lovely views and it is really quiet at night. On the last night we had some typical loud British tourist next door who really didn't take into account that people we're trying to sleep but the hotel staff sorted them put soon enough and told them to be quiet . There is a resturant downstairs for lunch and dinner and love music which is there for you to enjoy. The hotel is across the road from the beach

just perfect in every way from the hotel, location , breakfast to the great staff . will most definitely be returning . Great restaurants all around , lovely promenade and very clean beach with shaded beds run by the hotel. quiet and peaceful resort . Hotel & resort was everything we hoped it would be, Simon

Free parking behind the hotel, enter the car park next to the McDonald's drive through. Limited spaces. Parking on the pavement will get you a €30 fine. Walking distance to the marina, beach and plenty of restraunts, pubs and some supermarkets. Kitchen in the apartment is an induction cooker, microwave and a kettle. Some cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Buffet breakfast is some cold cuts, cheese, sliced oranges, melons and kiwi fruit, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled, sunny Side up and boiled eggs. Baked beans, saugages, bacon mushrooms and roasted tomato with cheese. Portugese egg tarts, raisin danishes, chocolate rolls, apple turnovers. White bread, wholemeal bread, croissants and some rolls with butter and some jams available. 3 Small lifts they can fit 2 persons with suitcases. Lighting mostly adequate in the rooms amd living area except for the bathroom which was too dark. Nice balcony area. In the evenings, it was cooler to open the doors than rely on the air conditioner.

Fantastic stay at the aquashaw hotel, the staff were very friendly and attentive to all our needs on our stay. I would particularly like to give Alexis a big thank you as he was very friendly and I enjoyed having good conversations with him and he made a good cup of tea. I stayed here with my 6 year old daughter and she absolutely loved the soft play the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. My daughter made lots of friends on the trip and did not want to come back home. The cleanliness is fantastic the domestic staff are excellent at their job and we're always greeting us with a smile we had our room cleaned every day and it was cleaned before lunch. There was a towel service were you pay 10 euros deposit and you can get clean towels everyday the reception staff were fantastic and always welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel I felt safe and comfortable and felt like a home from home. I will return at a later date.

Atendimento perfeito. Funcionários super educados e simpáticos. Quarto muito bom. Estava tudo em perfeita ordem. Pequeno almoço com boa variedade. Com certeza irei indicar o Hotel Altismar. Sem contar o custo benefício, que foi excelente.

When we read reviews we were a bit unsure of our choice. We arrived on the 15th September our room was not available to 2 pm so we had some lunch in the hotel which was good. Our room 212 was perfect except for one small issue with the floor in the sitting area. We were offered to moved but declined due to the location and size of the room. The Housekeepers serviced the room everyday. Bed was so so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent plenty of everything hot or cold. The staff were excellent and friendly. We were always able to get a sun lounger. We chose Bed and Breakfast as we wanted to eat out and such a selection of restaurants. Highly recommend O’Neills Irish Bar food was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay at a lovely traditional Portuguese Hotel. We will be back again very soon.

Highly recommend. Flawless hotel, excellent service, super friendly staffs, amazing food quality. Every detail of our stay has been incredible. Also a special mention to the extremely helpful reception team. 2am room service is top notch, also one reception lady is so kind, she went above and beyond to help us to find a good Presunto, we will definitely come back because of the great service, which made our holiday stress free and enjoyable

I really don't want you to think I'm a moaner so will try to stay constructive. Hotel looks stunning on arrival, check in fine....quickly realised we got the room we paid for, which is fine but if you are an influencer upgrades are reserved for you. Everyone else take note! We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and I tried to pay for an upgrade prior to travel but never heard anything. I 1000% recommend upgrading to anything above the tropical room, garden view as you go down one level from reception..the hall leading to your room is as dark and miserable as the room itself. There is a form for you to let them know what needs fixing in the room....I'm sorry for 5 star hotel and how much we paid to stay in the basement pretty sure they should check everything, i shouldn't need to tell them. The little mirror in bathroom was broke, light in wardrobe hardly ever worked and made a noise when it didn't but I didn't want to be inconvenienced by someone needing to go in. Found the room depressing when it was raining too. Now the Good stuff, indoor pool was good as long as you booked your hour slot and not allowed a minute over, food at breakfast was good....shame they couldn't have families one side of room...ended up surrounded by toddlers that just kept screaming. 👎 we ate out every night stayed on BB....I fully recommend this as there are so many amazing restaurants around the marina with great customer service and change of scenery. I note those that pay for more expensive rooms or the residencys or are influencers are treated amazingly. Maybe we should have complained more. Few mornings I had to get my own coffee as they make the staff do it but they are not attentive enough and were pretty mad when I got my own. Again maybe I'm too easy going. I've stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels in Croatia, Singapore and Bali and this was not my idea of 5 stars. Sorry! The staff are lovely, friendly, and cleanliness standards are really good. The cleaning operatives always go above and beyond. Shout out to those hard workers that keep the hotel running smoothly and your room spotless. One niggle, I had accidentally dropped my dressing gown in the bath so was taken with the towels. When I reported it to reception, they made me feel like a thief as they wanted to check with laundry...I just needed a new gown not my old one. The house keeping lady got it for me in seconds bless her so I tipped her there and then. Breakfast does not cater for Pescatarian or vegetarian as the hot food didn't include vegetarian sausages etc.

Lovely hotel x very clean x up to date x comfy beds and pillows x spacious room x We had a Sea view room x great location x 3 minutes away from the beach x opposite the marina x lots of shops x Chinese restaurant right next to the hotel x mc Donald’s 2’mins walk x supermarket in reach x Thai restaurant down the road also x watching the sunrise/sunset was beautiful. Only thing I fault is the food, we did half board and it wasn’t worth it at all. Very basic food every single day

A truly great experience!! Room was comfortable and housekeeping excellent. Well placed with a view of the Marina. The highlight of each morning of my 5 night stay was the Breakfast. Fantastic choice and everything well cooked and presented. The staff, particularly the trainees, were always friendly and obliging. I couldn't fault anything about the Breakfast at all. The situation of the Hotel was ideal for me but might not suit everyone as it was sited out of the Town. A beautiful beach was adjacent to the Hotel and even out of season there were a variety of Restaurants nearby. All staff, the Receptionists, Restaurant staff and Housekeeping were outstanding, always greeted me with a smile and very helpful.

Just come back from a four night stay at these apartments and I must say they were excellent. Great amenities lovely pool area and very friendly staff. The little on site shop had all we wanted and we ate in the restaurant on our first night and although there was several items unavailable what we had was great. The apartments are very assessable to the beach and there are a few restaurants nearby although some were closed because it was off season. We recommend Just Beef which is in walking distance up the coast, we ate here twice! Would definitely recommend a stay at these apartments and hope to return soon. Thank you

Beautiful property right on Praia da Rocha. Excellent service at check-in, was given a quick tour of the lobby and room by a wonderful gentleman. Beautiful and tidy room, stunning view from balcony, though the small bathroom window opens into the corridor and at times there is an unpleasant odour from a pipe in the toilet. Breakfast was adequate and delicious, staff were helpful and nice. Overall a great place to stay!

Very Clean, spacious in a great location, breakfast was good, would be nice if there were a few more options.

Pangsapuri moden dan bersih dengan segala yang diperlukan untuk penginapan yang selesa. Kami melakukan pembersihan harian pangsapuri ”pertukaran tuala mandi, pembersihan kaunter, lantai dan kutipan sampah. Beberapa aspek yang boleh menambah baik, Ia tidak mempunyai tongkat ajaib, pembakar roti, span dan cecair pencuci pinggan mangkuk.

Wonderful This is our 2nd time staying at Turim and it was perfect like the last time Staff on check in extremely friendly. We didn’t book breakfast or dinner there we went out to eat but we had breakfast last time and it was lovely The room was extremely clean on the 4th floor with a sea view and pool view plenty of toiletries shampoo shower gel conditioner and body lotion so you don’t have to bring your own towels were provided for the pool area which is great again you don’t have to bring your own 😊 The pool area is lovely however there are not enough sun beds really …we never had a problem getting one at 10am but any later and people weee walking away this is the only negative (so Turim provide more beds by the pool) Over all I would definitely return for a 3rd time

AN EXPENSIVE ITEM WAS STOLEN I had a terrible experience with this hotel at the end of my trip. Firstly, the hotel is really small, smaller than the pictures they show, our room was really tiny. But we decided to ignore that and have a good stay. There’s no parking spots near the hotel, so we had to park 8 minutes (walking) away from the hotel. At the end of our staying, when we were doing the check out we had to leave the bags in the reception because we couldn’t walk 8 minutes with bags and with 38 degrees weather. When we returned an item was missing. This was the only stop I made before going home. It’s a car trip, no one had access besides the staff in the hotel or other clients. I was informed they don’t have cameras in the reception area. I was even poorly treated by a staff member named Giovanna, she completely disregarded the situation and said basically it was a “me” problem. And there’s nothing she could do. This can’t be standard procedure in a hotel. Me, as a paying customer I expect at least some care and respect towards my money and my belongings, your employee simply told me “it’s impossible” as if things like this never happen, I expected her at least to tell me she would look into it and disregard my issue completely. This was a terrible experience and I don’t recommend this hotel or this service to anyone else unless they want to be treated unfairly. Regards , Luzia Ferreira.
