Every February, the Sapporo Snow Festival brings a winter wonderland to the city of Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Visitors can marvel at the huge and exquisite snow and ice sculptures that are on display for about a week. In addition to the stunning snow sculptures, the festival offers snow and ice attractions, lights, live performances, and projections that can be enjoyed throughout the day. The Sapporo Snow Festival is an unforgettable experience that is sure to be enjoyed by all.
After three years, the 2023 Sapporo Snow Festival is finally here! This year's event will feature a spectacular array of snow and ice sculptures that have become a sensational sensation in Japan.
The Sapporo Snow Festival is a winter tradition in Sapporo. As one of the most beautiful snow scenes in the world, it is widely known in Japan and abroad. The Sapporo Snow Festival began in 1950. With a history of over 70 years, the Sapporo Snow Festival has become a winter festival that attracts millions of visitors from all over the world every year.
This year's giant snow and ice sculptures at the Sapporo Snow Festival will include F Village, the new home of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, and Embury House in Embury Park, Hampshire, England. This stunning tribute to Florence Nightingale pays homage to the medical staff who are still working hard to this day.

It is located in the center of Sapporo. Snow and ice sculptures of different sizes are on both sides, stretching from one to ten for about 1 km.
More than 100 snow sculptures of traditional buildings and popular cartoons will be exhibited.
Snow Miku (Hatsune Miku)", "YU☆GI☆OH! GO RUSH!! Yudias Velgear", Movie "The Quintessential Quintuplets", "SPY×FAMILY", "Sumikko Gurashi", "SLAM DUNK", "Ghibli Cat Bus", and "Chiikawa" are all available.
At night, visitors can enjoy various snow sculpture illumination activities and projections.
An outdoor ice rink, Smile Link Sapporo, will be built at Akarenga Terras in the forecourt of the Hokkaido government. The ice rink is particularly dazzling in the evening under the lights.

The theme of Sukino Ice and Snow World is "Enjoy Ice and Snow". There are about 60 ice sculptures, which were started in 1981. Popular ice sculptures such as fish ice sculptures, photo service and information interactive area.
At night, the festival lights up and SUSUKINO's neon lights create a magical world.

A small snow statue with a slide is located in 7th Street. In the 10th street, at the KANZEN MEAL BALL PARK, there is a "sled ice pot" where you can get a free gift depending on where you slide down the tube. At J:COM Plaza on 1st Street, there is a light spot where you can get stuck in the snow wall and take pictures.
