Great hotel with restaurants and shops nearby. The selaron steps, pyramid cathedral etc are 10-15mins walking distance from the hotel. Fantastic staff at the hotel who are super helpful and informative. The room was big and clean, with a street/city view, and the shower room was a little on the small side but functional. Breakfast at the hotel was decent with a range of options available. I’m a vegetarian and had enough to eat. The hotel provides free coffee and free fruit infused water downstairs in the lobby area, which is an added bonus. A taxi from the airport to the hotel, and back again, should only cost you 70 riais at most each way, which was around £12/$14/€15. Would defo recommend this hotel. Thank you again :-)

O hotel certamente está dentro de um hall e uma classe daqueles imprescindíveis para quem está viajando à negócios e tem a oportunidade de realizar um “stop-over” no Rio de Janeiro. Com um restaurante e um café da manhã localizados no rooftop, além de todo seu charme você se sente abraçado pelo Cristo Redentor e pelo Pão de Açúcar logo ao acordar!!!

Я искала отель на новогодние праздники в Рио-де-Жанейро. За ту стоимость, за которую на Копакабане можно снять только сомнительный хостел, я сняла номер в полноценном отличном отеле Windsor с историей и соответствующем сервисом Расположение в центре (хотя недалеко от отеля тоже есть ряд интересных достопримечательностей) с лёгкостью компенсируется использованием Uber (до пляжей Копакабана , Ипанема - ок 45 BRL, Jardim Botanico - 26 BRL, Barra da Tijuca - 60 BRL, из а/п GIG - 63, обратно - 44 Т.е. цены на такси в Рио очень доступные Из несомненных плюсов отмечу разнообразный завтрак с большим количеством горячих блюд, фруктов, натуральных соков, выпечки. Завтрака хватает на весь день Из минусов: - неработающие фен, сейф - очень шумная встроенная вентиляция (приходилось на ночь открывать окно) - рядом с отелем - большое количество бездомных, запахи исправлений (но это не вина отеля, конечно), поэтому местность рядом к прогулкам не располагает

Excellent for an overnight stay. Basic rooms (no tissues,flannels or kettle) thin towels, but comfortable bed for a decent sleep. Lovely pool for a refreshing dip. Evening meal was good quality and decently priced. The drinks (wine etc) were pricey but service was good. Breakfast was a little hit n miss but fresh fruit, pastries, ham and cheese etc.

Room was more than dated, holes in the wall, mold in the shower, stains on the covers, wall clearly needed a coat of paint, staff was rude on arrival. There was constant noise due to construction in the hotel right above our room. We were proposed to change room, so we packed all of our belongings (which is not easy with elderly parents) to move to the 9th floor. That did not change a thing, we still heard construction noises, saws, hammer, all day long. The hotel proposed to change us to a third room, which I refused because I didn't want to spend another 45 minutes packing out things and moving my elderly parents. There was one day where we couldn't flush the toilet or take a shower, which was annoying after a long day in the sun. We couldn't refresh before heading to dinner. I was also charged 30 reals to leave my bags at the hotel as I arrived early. It has been my experience that hotels are usually happy to accommodate you in those situations. Finally, the place is rough, lack cleanliness and the staff is not super friendly. I wrote and email to the management which was never replied to. Considering all the trouble we went through, I would have liked to receive at least an apology. Do yourself a favour and find another spot. You are on vacation after all and you deserve peace and comfort, which we did not find at Benidorm Palace Hotel. I took videos of the incessant noise but unfortunately the site won’t allow to share videos.

Hôtel impéccable et personnel aux petits soins. Le quartier est plaisant avec quelques restaurants autour mais quand même isolé, il faut prendre un taxi, UBER ou un bus pour se déplacer car on est loin de tout à pied. Plage magnifique mais trop de courant pour s'y baigner et l'océan est très froid. Piscine chauffée en haut du bâtiment vraiment superbe et vue magnifique. Petit déjeuner au top il y en a pour tous les goûts et le service est irréprochable. après une balade en bord de mer vraiment agréable (4 km) il est possible d'avoir une ligne de métro pour aller dans le CENTRO que je n'ai pas trouvé superbe car beaucoup de mendiants et de belles facades anciennes complétements délabrées et qui menacent de s'effonder à tout moment c”est dommage de laisser ce patrimoine partir.

I’ve Travel many times to Rio de Janeiro and recently traveled again during the World Cup ! Like always I stayed at the Olinda Hotel located right in front of Copacabana beach on Ave Atlantica. I returned to The Olinda because of its classic hotel decor and its Centrally located near post 3 where many of the best restaurants in Copacabana can be found in the area . Now the important factor the staff and front desk Managers are spectacular helpful and professional. My trips to Rio de Janeiro have always been easy and safe because of Marcelo, Marco and Fabricio being attentive and helpful at the Front desk . I must also make the point that the restaurant and housekeeping are at a 5 star Hotel level. So leaving the best for last the view of the beach is breathtaking and keeps me coming back . Thank you Olinda Staff for always showing me the best of Brazil. Luiz Garcia

Le service, le personnel, les chambres et le petit déjeuner sont formidable ! Je recommande a 100%. Nous avons pris une chambre standard ( la moins chère) et nous avons adorés. Seuls points à ajouter, pensez à une petite piscine ou roof top, ça ajoute toujours un plus. Sinon tout est parfait et très bon emplacement et sécurisé.
