Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

Great place to be based in to check out Kunming. There are daily planned activities which we didn’t participate in due to the lack of time. We needed up paying for breakfast despite the booking saying breakfast was included so we would recommend to clarify that beforehand. The restaurant has ample vegetarian options and although we only ate breakfast at the restaurant it seemed like a great option for lunch and dinner. We went to bed early as we weren’t feeling well and the hostel was a bit noisy until about midnight. After that it was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Hotel’s location is best for walking around, shopping plaza is just the opposite and walking street at night was lively. Hotel Staff is very supportive in every way. Breakfast was delicious. Although the room is not big, the location is really good. Recommend for staying.

Location is best, right next to the Ancient town. Room is very spacious and breakfast was best, had a variety of options and most importantly delicious. Worth for staying. The hotel is very big so you need to take a golf car to your room. Walking will be little tired. Hotel is a bit old but still it’s very clean.

The room was very cozy and comfortable but what impressed us the most was the warm service. Qin ge 秦哥 gave us great recommendations on where to go and assisted us with car pool arrangements to and back from Tiger Leaping Gorge. Some highlights of our trip were all thanks to this place. We happened to join the English speaking corner on Saturday night where we met the lovely owner Linda and chatted with fellow guests. On another night, the staff also prepared a generous 腊排 (cured ribs) steamboat for us after we revealed that we wanted to try it. The location is a short drive away from the old town, which we preferred for a quieter environment. The rooftop cafe with a fantastic view of the snow mountain quickly put us in a festive and vacation mood. The shower water is hot and the water pressure is good. The toilet doesn't have a shower screen, but this wasn't a problem as the water dried quickly. A scraper was provided and the ventilator is very strong.

We had a great stay at this hotel the location is very convenient in Lijiang ancient town but it’s by the street so that cars can stop by the entrance of the hotel. We were welcomed by the front desk team that helped with our luggage. We initially booked a twin room but the room we had booked was a bit dark and we asked if there was any other room available. One of the employees named 阿鑫 quickly helped us to check and offered us an upgrade to a suite instead which was much better. The room was very clean and modern with a beautiful view of the ancient town. We also received free minibar and welcome fruits which was very nice. Furthermore, 阿鑫 helped us to introduce all the important tourist attractions and restaurants as well as bars. She helped to book tickets for the attractions that we wanted to visit and also followed up to see that we were happy. Her friendly and professional service made us feel very happy and we enjoyed our short stay in Lijiang very much.

The family suite provides perfect convenience and privacy, including 2 toilets. Location of this hotel is superb, it's walking distance from Lijiang Ancient City. We enjoyed the hotel amenities very much, bed was very comfortable and you get immediate hot water in the shower; toothbrush, bedroom slippers etc and bottled water all provided. All expectations of a premium 5* hotel are met, at an affordable price point. Above all, the hotel's service is amazing, airport pick up service was inclusive and host was very helpful in helping reserve day tour packages, though we eventually chose to go ourselves. The hotel then helped us via wechat when we faced challenges reserving Yulong scenic area tickets, responding even past midnight! Highly recommended. Things to note when you stay here: Hotel does not provide conditioner so bring your own, no breakfast included in room rate but there are a few eateries right below the hotel.

The room was far smaller than expected with a very petite though functional bathroom (without any natural light). The two single beds were small and difficult to sleep in. The air conditioning was old and quite poor. It was difficult to bring the temperature down at night. There was one tiny wardrobe that could not hold much clothing at all. There was no tea, coffee or other benefits of an alleged 5 star hotel. The following day, the cleaners (who were fantastic and very nice) brought us a few biscuits and a plate with a few fruit items on it. Two bottles of water were provided each day. The breakfast had a good selection of possible dishes though the staff did not refill regularly so many items became unavailable during breakfast. The dishes were very Chinese orientated, which was not a problem given that we were the only foreigners in the hotel. The reception staff were excellent, very helpful and supportive.

The room is amazing 🥹 and most definitely can fit 3 people or even 2 adults and 2 kids. There was even a little area where we could gather as a family to eat. I got this room for my elderly parents as they needed more space. On their service: My mother has trouble with her knees and climbing up stairs. Stairs are inevitable in Lijiang Old Town though, as with this hotel (don’t expect any lifts). But Mark was quick to help us with our luggages - he picked us up from outside the old town as cars aren’t allowed to enter and transported our luggages in so we didn’t have to be carry them in through the cobbled floor! The cleaning ladies were also really sweet and helped to support my mom :) On their facilities: Their facilities are generally very new and boy is it modern 🤯 They have automatic curtains, a heated toilet bowl and a heated shower (that means, blowing out hot air) - this was so needed in the cold season~ The room heating was also satisfactory, sometimes so good it became too hot 😂 马克 (Mark) is a solo tanker responsible for making his hotel a success man. Thank you Mark for being a gem of a person and an awesome hotel owner. He was sincere and really helped us get many good deals for various attractions/car services, taking into account my mom’s condition e.g. he booked us seats in the middle on the second row for 千古情 so that we could get the best view and so that my mother didn’t have to climb too many stairs. So thoughtful 🥹 (He is super bad with compliments though 🤭) I would definitely come back & definitely keep Mark as a contact

I enjoyed the hotel stay a lot. Beautiful architecture, large breakfast selection, and you just can’t go wrong with a large hotel. My tip to other Travellers who are looking for a luxury experience, please don’t go for the up and coming avant garde room designs that seem to be popular in Lijiang. Pros: 1. Economies of scale, rooms are of a high standard. Heating, air-conditioning all work fine. You’ll realize it’s a problem with the boutique hotels who are at the same price point 2. Breakfast begins at 6:30am - great for when you want to start your day early. 3. They had beautiful black swans and offer free activities like kayaking alongside them. Cons: 1. The boutique hotels has personalized services compared to large hotels. However, it’s not important for me.

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

We loved this hotel! It was so mystical being in this hotel. The rooms were immaculate and big enough to cater to two big luggage. The shower area came with heater so you don’t feel cold after switching off the water supply! They provide good amenities as well! The toothbrushes and shower gel were of excellent quality. The breakfast prepared is excellent! I am still thinking about the 米线 as it was just so delicious. Our hotel package came with free pick-up or drop off service as well as a free costume experience situated within the hotel. We ended up getting a package so we may go and have some photos taken! The make up artist and photographer were very knowledgeable and friendly. Location-wise, it’s a short distance to the ancient town. The hotel itself is situated at a corner which could make it difficult for Didi drivers to know where to alight. However, it’s actually quite easy to walk in from the main road. That said, we had to leave the hotel before staying the last night as they had a power outage that lasted for the entire day. We had thought it’ll be resolved as we’ll be travelling around Dali Ancient Town, but it still wasn’t when we arrived back late at night. This caused some inconvenience as there was no lights nor heater. The outage was only solved the following day after we left! They could’ve provided us with some back up options to head to another hotel or something as that would be good service recovery.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at this Dali hotel! The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from Dali Ancient City. What’s even better is that the hotel isn’t directly inside the ancient city, making it super convenient to order Didi rides, which can pick you up and drop you off right at the hotel’s doorstep. Since we stayed for two nights, the owner generously provided us with a pick-up service, which made our arrival so much smoother. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful the staff were throughout our stay. The area around the hotel is very convenient. At night, the road fills up with roadside stalls, making it easy to find food. As Muslims, we were delighted to discover halal food options nearby, which added so much ease to our trip. The room itself was warm, spacious, and cozy—with probably the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in! If you’re visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. With its strategic location, thoughtful hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again!

From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the stunning view from the balcony. Overall, I was impressed by the high level of service and attention to detail. Pros: - Nice erhai lake view in the day, city lights on the left at night - The room is really clean and well decorated with a virtual fireplace that adds to the ambience - Good location, 10mins drive from Dali Railway station - Relatively quiet at night Cons: - The toilet flush is quite weak, will need to flush multiple times if doing big business - The shower head had abit of water leakage at night even though we had already turned off the taps completely

Wonderful experience stay at this quiet place. They provide free pick up from train station for 2 nights consecutive stay. Very warm hospitality and friendly host. The host share with us Dali attractions route during our arrival. The place is near to the old town, five mins walking distance. There is steep slope when you walk back to the place. The room is clean and tidy with smart home facility. There are mineral water provided in the room, mini bar in the room also had the mineral water and cold drinks. There are delicious afternoon tea, flower biscuit, night dessert and rice noodles for breakfast. Forgot to take picture of breakfast. The tea and coffee are really good. Highly recommend this place if you come to Dali.

Saya sangat menyukai ***a hiasan hotel ini. Ia ringkas namun elegan, memberikan perasaan selesa dan menyenangkan kepada orang ramai, yang membuatkan saya berasa gembira. Hotel ini sangat dekat dengan Tasik Erhai, dan anda boleh melihat laut apabila anda keluar. Biliknya sangat bersih, perkhidmatannya juga sangat baik, dan mee nasi untuk sarapan pagi yang lazat dan rasa yang hebat😍😍😍Saya akan mengesyorkannya kepada rakan-rakan saya lain kali. Boleh pergi Erhai banyak kali😁😁😁Bos sangat baik, saya akan datang sini lagi lain kali saya pergi ke Dali😄😄😄

Stayed here for 2 nights as 2nd part of our Yunnan trip. Superb location as it was just walking distance to Da Li Ancient Town. The owners are super friendly and nice, making sure we are well taken care of during our stay and that we layer up when the weather gets cold whenever we are going out. They even recommend places and things to buy and not to buy, the reasonable prices etc, which we feel was a very nice touch as we often get targeted to pay a tourist rate as we do not know the market. When we checked out, they even gave us some sourvenir to bring back and remember about Da Li. They have an adorable Corgi too. We truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return when we come back next time!
