We stayed over Christmas and it was lovely for the kids. They were welcomed with gift packs full of mini-games, not just the normal colouring papers and pencils. They also have a Christmas workshop set up way before Christmas. The room was very nicely decorated with ample of space for crafting and small table for some drinks. The only downside was that many things had been used up and not refilled as the workshop opened a few weeks before Christmas. They also served milk in the workshop room, but I had concerns that the milk was there from the morning for the whole day and that it was not kept chilled, which might not be good for the kids to consume. The receptionists were very friendly.

Recently stayed at Hyatt Hotel Canberra and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel strikes a great balance between old-world charm and modern comfort, with the heritage architecture giving the property a unique character that you simply do not get with many newer hotels. The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere throughout the hotel felt calm, professional and relaxing. Staff were welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful from check-in through to departure, which made the stay seamless. The location is also excellent, particularly for anyone travelling for business, government-related work or simply wanting easy access to Canberra’s key attractions and parliamentary precinct. A standout was the buffet breakfast, which offered a strong variety and quality selection. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I would happily return when next visiting Canberra.

Excellent location - bus stop right outside the hotel made getting around very convenient, short walking distance to shops. Room itself was spacious, and bed was comfortable which made for a pleasant overall stay. Basic amenities such as toothbrushes, shower cap and slippers etc were not provided in room. The mini bar also didnt have prices listed, so no clue what items would cost. The main lighting in the room and bathroom was bright and quite harsh for me, no option to adjust to a softer tone. And the bathroom fan was quite loud and didnt appear to have an option to turn it off, which could be disruptive. Also, reception is not available 24hrs and at times it was difficult to get in touch with staff for assistance. Overall a decent stay, an excellent location.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza Canberra and overall had a decent experience. The hotel is very clean, including the room and common areas, which we appreciated. However, the hotel does feel a bit dated, particularly the bathroom — the shower and bathtub would benefit from an upgrade. The reception staff were friendly, polite, and professional, with smooth and efficient check-in and check-out. Breakfast was acceptable but had limited variety (see video). The location is a plus, right in the city and next to Holey Moley and the entertainment arcade, making it convenient for families with kids. Overall, a clean and well-located hotel, though showing its age in some areas.

The location is fantastic! If you're taking a FlixBus, it's right next to the station, and also very close to the local bus stop and train station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. (´▽｀) Although the hotel isn't brand new, and the water sometimes cuts out briefly when showering at night, it has all the necessary facilities and a great location, so I'd still highly recommend it.

The location is super convenient. You can take the Route 3 bus directly from the airport to the hotel entrance, and several major attractions are also accessible by public transport. Plus, it's right next to the bustling Canberra Centre shopping mall. However, the soundproofing isn't great. On Saturday night, around 11 PM, motorbikes were racing past with a really loud roar, and it didn't quiet down until about 2 AM. I could also clearly hear the sound of water running when someone showered next door. Sunday night, though, was very quiet. Overall, the hostel is quite clean. There's a projector on the third floor, an outdoor area on the top floor to relax, and multiple fridges on the first floor if you want to cook your own meals.

Although check-in time ends at 8pm and we arrived a little after 8 on a long weekend, the concierge was still there so we were able to check in smoothly. If we arrived closer to 9pm, our keys would be stored in a lock box outside with a PIN code sent to our phone for entry instructions. Our 2 Bedroom Apartment was incredibly spacious. We had generous storage, a large living room and dining area. The kitchen had a full sized fridge, a microwave and full sized dishwasher. Both bedrooms had a large integrated study desk, and en-suite. There was a fully equipped laundry in another room connected to the ensuite of one of the bedrooms. They were both master rooms with king sized beds. Inside the lobby there’s a free coffee and hot chocolate machine. There were multiple vending machines for drinks and snacks too, The hotel has free parking and is 100m walk via the parking lot to a shopping centre and dining precinct. The hotel is less than 10mins from the Canberra Arboretum. Really good location, facilities and staff were great. The hotel is low rise but very large with multiple wings and buildings. While we (2 friends) only stayed for 1 night we would love to stay here again in future. This apartment would also be suitable for longer term stays particularly for those needing to go to Canberra for a work trip or a family trip. Checkout at 10am was quick and we could purchase pre-packed to-go breakfast for $10 which was very handy for those needing to head home early on a long weekend road trip. We helped ourselves to free takeaway coffees at the lobby. Only negative is while the apartment is clean, it needs a deep clean for some areas missed.

The hotel is located to the north west of the city centre. Though it is a bit far from the city it is quite convenient, there’s a supermarket (woolies) nearby. Parking is difficult but they provide parking for extra fee per night with unlimited in and out. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable and sufficient for our travel purpose to attend an event nearby. I like the double beds (two separate beds) option but this type of room only comes with a disable-friendly bathroom. I wish their double beds are bigger in size and they have a regular bathroom option with a bathtub.

Very good hotel. Everything is perfect, by the notable exception of the breakfast. You have to make the line, to wait to be seated like it's a nightclub. Arriving at the restaurant, you will wait 20 minutes to have your morning coffee. Another issue with the breakfast is that it is super expensive. I paid 22 AUD (more than 12 euros) for a plate with one waffle... Also paid a super high price for a plate of fruits... Everything else is perfect. Hotel is beautiful, quiet, well located and the persons working at the reception are great! Polite, nice and ready to help!

The hotel was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and a cozy living area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The location is right in the city center, close to restaurants, cafes, and public transport, which made getting around very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing quick responses to any questions I had. The only minor downside was that the noise from nearby streets could be a bit noticeable in the evenings, but it didn’t significantly affect my stay. I recently stayed at Abode Belconnen and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing – it was a perfect 10/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, not just as guests but as pet parents. Finding a truly dog-friendly hotel that still feels modern, clean, and a little bit luxurious is so rare, but Abode nails it. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with a calm, contemporary vibe. It didn’t have that “pet room” feel that some places have – everything looked and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and felt super comfortable and high class. What really impressed me was how easy they made travelling with my dog. They provided everything we needed, and had a dog toilet area on level 5 (Sunset photo i posted). Staff were helpful and never once made me feel like traveling with a dog was a burden. The location is also super convenient with shops, restaurants, and even a Woolies just downstairs, plus secure parking. It’s one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that manages to feel both practical and stylish. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly place in Canberra that still feels like a quality stay, Abode Belconnen is honestly unbeatable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

The overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible.

Haha, this hotel definitely requires a bit of an adventurous spirit to stay at! It was built in 1926, so it's celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. In the lobby restaurant, there's a very old manual plug-in switchboard. The hotel's past life probably wasn't as a hotel; it gives off more of a government archives vibe 😂. The room facilities are a bit dated, especially the carpet, but there's a certain echo of the 1950s. The bathroom is quite small, and the shower area, in particular, seems like it would be a squeeze for anyone a bit larger. Canberra gets really cold, so it was a thoughtful touch that the hotel provided extra blankets. Overall, I think you need to have a bit of a nostalgic appreciation to truly enjoy this kind of hotel. The service, however, was quite good.

Good hotel with decent amenities and an excellent location, but the staff experience was extremely disappointing. We were travelling with a young child and requested a late checkout. They informed us it would be $30 to extend beyond 10 AM, so we agreed. We checked out at 11:45 AM, only to find they had charged $60, which felt unreasonable and misleading. On top of that, housekeeping knocked 3-4 times, and their behaviour was shockingly rude. One staff member even said, “You have 2 minutes, just get out in 2 minutes,” which was completely unprofessional. I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never encountered staff speaking or behaving like this. 0/5 for staff behaviour. If you care about service, I strongly recommend choosing a more reputable hotel. If you’re on a tight budget and only want to stay near Parliament and don’t mind compromising on service, then this place might work - but be prepared for poor staff interactions.

The Specious two-bedroom apartment is very fancy. Enjoy a spacious, fully furnished, serviced apartment close to local eateries and just minutes drive from the heart of Canberra. The apartment itself is quiet and secure. With remote on lifts and your own unit. All rooms are spacious and with sliding glass doors or windows. Two free parking space in the garage with a roller door. Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night. Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly,although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not. The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka.

This hotel is super convenient! A shopping center called Maunka Terrace is just a 3-minute drive away, and it has Coles, Subway, and McDonald's. There were also Japanese, Italian, pub food, and other Asian restaurants in that area. Parking usually costs $25 per night for guests, but thanks to a Trip.com perk, I only paid $10 a night, which was great! You can't reserve parking, but there was plenty of space, so I had no issues. The breakfast menu was pretty much the same every day, which was a bit disappointing, but there was still a good variety and plenty of food.
