Hotel restaurant food expensive unless gambling and apparently would have great discount. Room service was good and value for money. Expected small amenities like free bottled water to be more generous given the heat. Apparently just 2 bottles per check in although we stayed 2 nights . Bathroom and toiletries reasonable although bathroom door had a drum which made it inconvenient to open as door swung closed automatically ..

The room was very clean, and overall, it was a great stay. While there's a bar nearby that can get a bit noisy at night, it wasn't an issue at all with earplugs.

Tiny rooms with poor outlook unless you go out to the balcony in our room. I won't return, too many better options around Darwin.

The request to have twin beds were met but the beds were only separated when we are in the room which made it awkward to stand around for 10 to 15 mins in a room that is not very big. We kept having to move to get our of the way to enable house keeping to split the bed into twin.

Wonderful hotel with clean and wide rooms. It is also quiet even though it is located in the center of Darwin city. There are also amenities and restaurant inside the hotel. And the breakfast is really good with various choices. A supermarket opened till 10pm is also available 500m from the hotel . The reception is opened 24h a day. This hotel is also very convenient for whomever is going on day tours (for instance to Kakadu or Croc cruise) as there is a pick up location around 200 meters from the hotel (Leea hotel). We really had a wonderful 3 nights stay and really recommending this hotel! Note : the airport is only 20 min from the hotel.

Otherwise, you will need to use available, nearby public spaces. The hotel has automated checking, but staff were on hand to make sure all goes smoothly. If a second key is required, it has to be generated by staff. Breakfast is not done in the hotel, but a voucher is provided to go to Salvatores Cafe in the same building. Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again.

Mantra on the Esplanade worked well for us for the three nights we stayed. Close to the main shops and eateries so plenty of choice there, with a free bus to the large out of town shopping centre too. The room was clean and tidy though a little dated. We were at the back of the hotel which meant the music and noise from the pubs and clubs nearby could be heard til quite late though it didn’t keep us awake.

The hotel was under massive renovation. Couldn't get a good Waterview room due to that. The front desk staffs are very accommodative and helpful trying to offer other rooms and options. Very good One of the best hotels to stay in Australia for half a month. Airport taxis are around AUD $ 26-28. A taxi for two persons is better than an airport bus for AUD15 per person. There are several large supermarket walking streets nearby, not far from walking distance. We got off the plane at 1am and arrived at the hotel. The service staff was waiting for us at the door. Full marks.

We reached early at 2am on 16th may 2026, room was really spacious and we were looked after very well. Specially Mr Sanjaya Karunathilake the hotel manager was absolutely very cooperative and went out of his way to help us stay comfortable. All the other staff were so helpful and very kind. I would definitely come again to stay in this property, coz location is the most important for us. Thanks to all once again.

Poor communication with the shuttle service. They failed to communicate the shuttle service would be an unmarked car and did not provide the driver with my phone number. This resulted in a long wait at the airport around midnight, plus several phone calls. The room we were given had hair in the bed and stained sheets. Thankfully, we were promptly given a new room, however, the person who gave me the new room key - passed the key to me and told me the room number and went to immediately leave. I had to ask him to show me the room and help move our bags. (I was travelling with my 8 year old child and by this time it was after 1am). It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Upon first check in, the receptionist confirmed that we paid through Trip.com but after taking the bond payment he then straight away told us he hasn’t received any payment and asked us to show our proof of payments such as trip.com confirmation, bank transfer, & even statement of bank deduction. We showed confirmation, bank transfer, statements as he asked and then the receptionist refused and insisted we haven’t paid. He refused all the proofs and insisted us to make another payment with them. He refused us to talk to the supervisor because he said “they will say the same thing”. Unfortunately, we didn’t get his name, so we couldn’t specify who he was. Terrible services.
