We stayed as a couple in late December, just after Christmas. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the shared swimming pool area on the ground floor. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the lovely reception staff, who showed us the room details. The room featured a spa tub on the balcony, which we enjoyed. However, the hotel itself felt a bit outdated and old-fashioned. While the room was reasonably comfortable, we noticed some wear and tear, like chipped and scratched surfaces in the bathroom amenities and signs of overall poor maintenance. Also, the spa tub was not well-cleaned, with visible dirt and mould in the crevices, which was disappointing. Overall, while the staff were welcoming and the room had its enjoyable aspects, the lack of upkeep in the facilities detracted from our experience.

The service was good and friendly, the facilities average.   For most of the day, there is no shade around the small pool for sitting and reading. A ceiling light bulb in our room was out so the room was a little dark.  They did not serve food/ have a restaurant, but there were plenty of places to eat very near the motel. I would recommend it for its location and price and would stay there again due to its proximity to Macrossan st and the beach, which makes it an ideal place to stay.

I didn't pay attention when booking the room. Fortunately, I arrived at the hotel during working hours. The front desk told me that two adults and one child could not stay in a standard room. I needed to pay extra for a one-bedroom apartment. The price was reasonable at $100 for 2 nights. The one-bedroom apartment was really good, with a large bathroom, washing machine and dryer, and a simple kitchen. I bought breakfast at the supermarket and had a very rich breakfast. The whole hotel is actually an independent community, with villas, studios, and apartments. Parking is free, the environment is very good, very quiet, and a good place for vacation.

Excellent place for stay! Super friendly and generous staff especially Elaine at the front. The moment we checked in she was so helpful and very respectful in communication. This is like home feeling and advertisement doesn’t elaborate everything.. it’s beyond that comfort. Only thing was noise due to building at back property and clearly communicated.. it didn’t affect us as at all as Saturday we were mostly out exploring and late afternoon onwards till Monday.. full comfort. Peeps on going project will be finished soon.. highly recommend as close to beaches… and proime location. We had awesome view on our window. Thanks Team, see you again next with my family. I just told the front desk in advance that I had to leave the store at 7.30 in the morning of the second day, but the next morning at 7.30, the front door and window of the reception hall were closed, no staff on duty could be found, no one answered the phone... The luggage was taken down, and It is inconvenient to throw it and then send the room card to the room. In desperation, the room card is stuffed from the door seam, and the reservation customer service is sent to inform the check-out email... The result is unknown. Fortunately, I only brushed a 10-knife credit guarantee when I checked in. It doesn't matter if I can't retreat...

The apartment was really nice and spacious. It was very clean and we got a bunch of towels on arrival. The pools were very nice and only about a 3 minute walk to the beach. The reception staff are very nice and welcoming it was an excellent stay for our trip. The resort is also very convenient as the shops are just up the road and close by to basically everything you will need.  Would recommend this stay to family and friends. Thanks for having us. :)

Port douglas apartments have underground parking garages for convenience. No elevator. No breakfast. The owner Robin is enthusiastic. The room is nice, bright, clean, 70 meters from the beach, at the end of Macrossan Street, very quiet. Especially suitable for vacation. Just a few steps away is the end of the four-mile beach. There is a walkway on the left side, 1.3km long. Stay a few more days. If you come from Cairns, rent a car at the airport and drive for up to an hour. You can also drive to Dancui Rainforest by yourself. Don't listen to the boss's flickering road conditions. It is recommended to join a one-day tour. It is well worth taking a cruise to the daintree river by car. You can see wild crocodiles. If it weren't for this small group to be sent back on time, we could just wait to see wild crocodiles attack the cows standing in the water. regret! Picture one is a hunting scene photo we were unable to wait for. The video is a daintree river boat ride to find the crocodile.

The hotel is beautiful, pool, grounds and spotlessly clean. The staff were really helpful (especially the English girl), not far to walk from town and harbour. Bedding and towels immaculate, they even supplied beach/pool towels. Our only concern was that there was a bit of maintenance work going on as end of season which was noisy and the pool bar wasn’t well stocked, and we’d have loved some eggs at breakfast as sourdough and guacamole was provided!! We were offered a reasonably priced upgrade and allowd to keep our room a couple hours longer that 10am on departure. Overall we loved relaxing by the pool, and think the price reflected the very minor issues.

The bed and pillows are quite soft and offer minimal neck support. Some of the bathroom fixtures have minor leaks, but they are still functional, and the water is hot. Despite these points, my family found our two-night stay to be pleasant and homely.

Budgeting for 10 nights, this was chosen for a 10 night stay at best price available. A very central downtown location, handy to cafes, supermarkets, beach, Sunday market etc. Although abled bodies, there was alot of concern for multiple steps and tight corners within the property. The studio unit was small, squeezy and would suit either a single or a stay if a couple of nights. Issues such as having to pull the microwave out to turn the power on to that and the television, move the large coffee table at night to avoid injury, getting in and out of the very deep sided spa bath for a shower and the tightest of food preparing space put a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay.
