While there are many great hotels in Jeju, and a night at the JW Marriott can easily cost over 5,000 RMB, the Grand Hyatt offers the most reliable balance of price, location, and quality. Its location is truly its biggest advantage, situated in the iconic twin towers in the bustling heart of Jeju City, making the building instantly recognizable. Shilla Duty-Free Shop is just a ten-minute walk away, Lotte Duty-Free is also nearby, and a large E-Mart supermarket is right next door. There are countless cafes and small restaurants in the vicinity, so you can easily sort out all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs within 500 meters of the hotel. Overall Experience: Staying at the Grand Hyatt Jeju is stress-free, even if you don't speak Korean. The hotel is filled with Chinese signage – in the elevators, by restaurant entrances, and next to the pool – often more Chinese signs than Korean ones. The 220V power outlets in the room don't require an adapter, making this hotel practically the safest choice if it's your first time in Jeju. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a good view, and while it's not a sea view, the scenery outside is still pleasant. The room's interior is identical to the sea view rooms. We visited in July during the summer holidays and stayed at both Meisen Glide Hotel and the adjacent Bolton. Although Bolton was a few hundred yuan more expensive, the overall experience was better than Meisen. Firstly, the front desk service at both was good, but Bolton's front desk had the advantage of seamless Chinese communication. Secondly, the room at Meisen—the first plastic cover of the toilet had several urine stains. At first, I couldn't believe it and thought it was just the toilet yellowing from age, but when I wiped it with a wet wipe, it came right off, and it was yellow—definitely urine stains. For this price, the toilet wasn't even cleaned properly; I was truly speechless… Lastly, Meisen's room didn't have an electric mosquito repellent, and I was woken up twice by mosquitoes at night. Bolton, on the other hand, smelled lovely as soon as you entered the room.

Cons: location was very far off. Dinner options (only buffet $90/pax) in hotel was very expensive. We drove out to have dinner. Not much amenities surrounding the hotel. Drive out 10-15 mins to nearby food town, which has ilpum sundubu, and one 7-11 convenience store.

”Who said that Jeju Island has a romantic sea breeze? The EEDO villa I lived in this time directly refreshed my understanding of 'home away from home'! The constant temperature pool control must be rushed: soak in the warm pool in the afternoon, the blue sky of Jeju is looking up, and the water waves are swaying the sun like a broken drill. Every shot is an ins wind blockbuster ～ room details are full: the bedding is soft to like trapped in the clouds, and every day I wake up outside the window is a clean healing scenery, and even the bathroom exudes a faint fragrance. When I checked in, there were Jeju specialty oranges on the table, which were sweet to bursting juice! In the evening, I personally helped us barbecue, the sound of black pork and his special sauce, and I went down and went directly to the soul to wear ”The Canteen” 😂 Before leaving, I even sent a small souvenir. The location of the villa is super convenient, it takes 15 minutes to go to Yayuexuan to see the seagulls. Remember to bring more swimsuits, poolside and lounge chairs are too filmed. If Jeju Island is gentle and shaped, it must be the water ripples in the EEDO villa pool + the fireworks of the landlord's grandfather's barbecue. Sisters close their eyes and rush, this is definitely worth N brushing!

Note that the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, so you'll need to bring your own. For catching a flight or a temporary stopover, it offers good value for money.

The hotel's location is impeccable, very close to Shilla Duty Free. The front desk staff speak Chinese, and their service is attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. Here's an important heads-up for my fellow travelers coming to Jeju: be extra cautious with the male clerk working at the CU convenience store diagonally opposite the hotel on July 18th between 5 PM and 6 PM. The total amount at checkout didn't match my calculation. After paying, I asked him for the receipt, and he accurately said ”xiaopiao” (receipt) in Chinese, clearly understanding Chinese perfectly. When I tried to communicate in English, his demeanor soured, and he used hostile and very unfriendly language. He didn't care at all, even when I told him I would report it to headquarters.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; several of them even spoke Chinese. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

It's a 30-minute taxi ride from the city center, 40 minutes by taxi to Seongsan Ilchulbong, and 40 minutes to Batti Ranch. There's a bus stop just a five-minute walk away that can take you to Udo Island ferry terminal. Plus, there's an Olive Young nearby. Downstairs, you're surrounded by amazing restaurants. Hamdeok Beach is right across the street. The hotel even has a washing machine and dryer. And there's a convenience store right downstairs! So good!

This stay was a complete surprise, like a mystery box! We were randomly assigned two top-floor suite rooms, which were incredibly spacious, even for a family of four. Although it was listed as a 'mountain city view,' the actual view far exceeded our expectations. Right outside our door was the gym, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive panoramic view. Even more stunning was the rooftop terrace, boasting almost a 360° panoramic sea view. From the pink hues of sunrise to the golden glow of sunset, we could chase the light all day long without even leaving the building. The visual experience in the common areas was absolutely superb. Both the facilities and service lived up to the price, making it excellent value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

On our last day, we moved to the Gloucester, but couldn't check in until 3 PM, and the room was much smaller with lots of bugs and a strange odor. Next time, I'm definitely staying at Best again; it was a much better experience.

Plus, the hotel offers a free airport shuttle – it's a 15-seater on a first-come, first-served basis. And a huge bonus: you don't need a converter for charging, which is really helpful! Just a small suggestion: it would be great to have a chain on the bathtub stopper to prevent splashes. As for the pool, it costs around 60 for a swim, but if a child goes, the adult accompanying them also has to pay, essentially making it a two-person charge.

There's a supermarket next to the hotel, and the potato pork bone soup across the street was delicious too. Now for the only downside: it's quite close to the road, so there was a bit of noise at night. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Jeju Island is beautiful!

I personally like the location. Near to airport. Taxi fare less than 6500won. Bus Stop just outside of the hotel. 7-11 next door too. Didn't try out the breakfast, gym and swimming pool so no comments on that. Understood that 2000won is needed for towel fee if you choose to swim. You can find their 2 wasing machines and 2 dryers at B2. 5000won for washing and 5000won for drying. 500won for a small pack of powder detergent. Thank you to the ajummas that did room cleaning, they were friendly and well mannered. Pretty disappointed with the front desk staff instead, they weren't as friendly as I would hope them to be. The front staff just asked us for our name and the number of luggage and gave as a tag which we need to tag it on our luggage ourselves. and also, the luggage we would have to leave them at the ba Luggage area and collect ourselves once we were done. This can be better managed by the hotel front desk staff than the hotel guests instead. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

The location of this hotel was great. It is right off the Nuwemara Street, and you can easily go shopping whenever just by walking. There are free parkings provided by the hotel, however they are very tight. If you’d prefer a more comfortable parking, i believe the parking complex right opposite the hotel is not too bad. Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels, and not bad ventillation for the toilet, hence overall it was a comfortable experience.

I'll definitely book here again next time. Right outside the door, a CU convenience store is to the left, and a street full of food options is to the right. There's a Korean fried chicken place with unbelievably delicious cheese-flavored chicken; we ate there multiple times and even got takeout once. The 202 bus stop is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk to the right. The area itself is quiet, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the balcony offered stunning sea views. On our last day, we stepped out around 10 PM and were pleasantly surprised by how lively the evenings are. There were many shops and restaurants open, and we had an amazing time drinking soju and eating Korean BBQ – the experience was just perfect! Overall, the location is truly excellent. (P.S. We even ran into many energetic and 'cool' Korean high school students on a study trip staying at the hotel!) Despite the rain throughout our entire trip, this accommodation completely made up for it, and we still thoroughly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.

Extremely close to the airport, with a direct bus connection. It's very convenient to go anywhere for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The front desk staff speak excellent Chinese, and the Korean ladies are also easy to communicate with. On the first day, we had to check out early so they provided a take-out breakfast. The second day, we woke up naturally, and the Korean 'ajumma' (auntie) was able to accommodate our dietary preferences. It was nice. The housekeeping was also very diligent; the room was impeccably clean when we returned from our activities on the first day. There's also a small fridge for drinks. There are many mirrors, and it would be even better if the lighting was brighter.

The hotel environment is good, however, the restaurant was closed due to wedding event for my stay. It is not appropriate arrangement since the hotel only had 1 restaurant n convenient store inside the hotel. Also the travel information including transportation, hiking and around the hotel sightseeing spots is not enough for customer first time to come. Btw, the hotel surroundings are very good, our room can see the sun rise and sun set not full view, and can see Hallasan from the room. There are performance at Nanta Theatre, and opposite is a Jeju Starlight World Park. The hotel is very closed to the Gwaneumsa Trail Entrance of Hallasan. Only 5 minutes taxi about won6k to the entrance. It is also closed to different short hike around Hallasan. You have to book in advance before you can enter this trail. I suggest to go from Gwaneumsa up to the top point, and down from Seongpanak Trail. Then u can take bus no. 281 and walk about 800m to the hotel. Only that the location is not convenient to take public transportation as the frequency is around 1 hour interval of bus schedule. But if you drive, it is definitely a good place to stay. The hotel is really considered to give more information for the customer tourist information as value added service.

Parking was also plentiful. The Room: We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our Suite. It featured two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with comfortable floor mattresses. The fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, and dish soap included) was a highlight; we loved cooking late-night Ramyeon! Cleanliness & Service: The hotel maintains high standards. I especially appreciated the organized trash disposal area on the floor that we stayed. Regarding service, the staff was attentive and helpful, especially during a fire drill. While we understand these drills are infrequent, the initial announcements were entirely in Korean, causing confusion and worry for our family. English was only used at the final moment for the ”evacuate” command. Although the front desk staff was very eager to explain using a translator, it would be much better if all informative announcements were provided in English to prevent unnecessary panic. Overall: A fantastic, family-friendly choice. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Jeju!

Five-star price for three-star amenities, I'd say. We booked a sea-view family room. The first night, the view was great; you opened the curtains right onto the ocean. The second day, we returned from an outing around 8 PM, and when we opened the door, the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell. The staff were very nice about it; we packed up our bags that night and moved to a different room. This one overlooked the pool. They gave us four coffee vouchers, bringing the total to six, including the ones we got at check-in. These vouchers were only good for Americano or bayberry juice at the hotel coffee shop. After settling into the new room, we found the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I didn't dare unpack. I reported it to the front desk, and again, their attitude was excellent; they sent someone to fix it right away. After the repair, it still wasn't cooling. I told the front desk again. They said their system showed the temperature was dropping and asked us to wait a bit longer. By this time, it was past 10 PM, and the kids were getting sleepy, so we just unpacked and showered. After our showers, the maintenance staff came again, worked on it for a long time, and then told us we'd have to move rooms again. I was furious! It was almost midnight, and we had to pack up again and move to a family room with bunk beds, still overlooking the pool. Finally, I proactively asked for four breakfast vouchers, and they were very polite and didn't hesitate to give them to us. At around 5 AM, I was woken up by a bird pecking at the window. I couldn't shoo it away; it would leave for a bit and then come right back. It was so annoying I just had to laugh.

I highly recommend this hotel! First off, the location is fantastic. It's about 2km from the airport, a quick 10-minute taxi ride. There's a bus stop right across the street (heading towards Seogwipo) and another one a short walk from the side entrance (going towards Hyeopjae), which is super convenient! Plus, there's a CU and a GS25 convenience store right nearby. Daiso, Shilla, and Lotte Duty-Free shops are just a 10-12 minute walk away too. Secondly, the service was excellent. The front desk staff spoke a little Chinese, enough for basic communication, and they were all very friendly. I had trouble with the shower settings in my room, and a staff member came up to help me adjust it. Before I left, they even gave me a small snack as a thank you and wished me well. Finally, the environment is great. The whole hotel smells lovely, and they have carpets throughout, even in the hallways, so my luggage trolley didn't make much noise. Although the bathroom has a bathtub, you can also switch it to a rainfall shower head. You'll need to bring your own toiletries, but other than that, everything's covered. As for the mirror facing the bed, it seems Koreans aren't too concerned about that, and since I booked a twin room, I just used the bed facing the mirror for my clothes and slept on the other one. All in all, I highly recommend it!

Convenience stores, restaurants, and souvenir shops are all around, and local delicacies like pork bone stew are just a few steps away – a true paradise for foodies and shoppers. What's even better, the hotel is only about 3 km from Jeju International Airport, a roughly 6-minute drive. The front desk even helps arrange taxis for early morning flights, saving both effort and time. The clean and tidy rooms are a huge plus. Although some room types don't have windows, the space is adequately sized and very warmly decorated. The bathroom has plenty of hot water with stable temperatures, towels are replaced daily, and toiletries are fully stocked. Even tea sets, coffee-making facilities, and complimentary bottled water are thoughtfully provided. The soundproofing in the rooms was surprisingly good; I wasn't disturbed by outside noise at all, making for a very peaceful stay. The service was incredibly heartwarming! The front desk staff not only speak multiple languages, including Chinese and English, but they are also exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic. They answer every question, patiently recommend local attractions and restaurants. The hotel's amenities are also very practical: free and stable WiFi, 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and complimentary private parking are all available, meeting every travel need. For a hotel with such an excellent location, thoughtful service, and impeccable hygiene, the price is surprisingly affordable – truly outstanding value for money!
