Having never stayed at a Pan Pacific hotel, I had no idea what to expect, but it really impressed me! The gym definitely stood out, the equipment was so smooth and well-maintained, easily the best hotel gym I’ve used in a while. What really made the difference was the team. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel personal and warm. The team kindly helped, sharing directions and local tips and insights. From travel times to sharing maps, they couldn’t have been kinder in helping. The room was cosy and comfortable and I personally slept really well (better than at home!) the location worked well for me too, I found it calm and well connected. It was an stress-free, enjoyable experience to stay at this Pan Pacific and I plan to stay again. :) Thank you to the Pan Pacific team for going above and beyond to provide the best in service and care. I would like to share a special thanks to Joey, Lundy, Freda and Bruce who made my May Day holiday, may your week bring the best! 🌷 ☕️ If you are considering this hotel I would say the hotel's experience is in its favour and it is charming. My overall stay was very comfortable. The hotel's location is a huge advantage, being right next to the city hall area, which made getting around for business incredibly convenient. The surrounding transport network is well-developed, making daily commutes and travel hassle-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive; check-in and check-out processes were efficient and smooth. They were friendly and polite, and patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions. The executive lounge had an elegant and tranquil vibe, with a clean and comfortable environment, creating a great atmosphere for relaxation. The food selection was rich and comprehensive, with fresh ingredients and excellent taste. The hot and cold dishes, drinks, and snacks were well-balanced, catering to popular preferences. The dining experience was superb. Overall, every aspect was satisfying, making this hotel my top choice for accommodation when traveling.

As for the accommodation, the rooms at the Kempinski Hotel are incredibly spacious and comfortable, with luxurious and exquisite decor. Our stay at RYD exceeded all expectations, a solid 120%! The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking, expansive views of Gulangyu Island, perfect for catching both sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed the clear blue sea by day and the twinkling lights by night. The staff were incredibly attentive and warm throughout our stay, providing meticulous service. They even extended our check-out time so we wouldn't have to rush for our train, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location made getting around a breeze. With amazing views and heartwarming, personalized service, it's convenient for all your travel needs. We'll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Xiamen! Sea view room This hotel is away from the city centre, it’s has incredible views of the bay. Staff very attentive even offering their personal WeChat to assist with potential issues as it was busy period for the hotel. Breakfast buffet- very extensive, noodles station, egg station, lots of variety, breads, soups, pastries, to local delicacy. Hotel is 5 star rating but several areas needed TLC especially faded walls, cables poking out and shower facilities in the changing rooms in the gym in need of upgrade. Rooms are very large, with bath tub, separate toilet and shower unit, wardrobe and luggage storage at the side of the door. King Fu tea set, 4 bottles of mineral water, 24 hour restaurant, cafe and small convenience shop attached to the hotel. Local eateries are about 10 minute walk away.

The hotel's decoration style combines southern Fujian characteristics with modern elements to create a unique atmosphere. The hotel is cost-effective and is a good choice on Gulangyu Island.

The pillows were uncomfortable. I asked the butler for more, but they were unprepared; for four people, we only received two pillows and were told there were no more. For such a large hotel, running out of pillows is unacceptable. During the plant activity, the small gifts provided felt very perfunctory, especially considering the hotel's star rating. The afternoon tea seemed to have shortcuts taken. I informed the butler, who said they would make it up later. Although they did replenish it eventually, this raises a question of integrity. The breakfast selection was limited, with not many options. On the second day, our room wasn't cleaned proactively, nor were we asked if we needed service. I had to request staff to come, and they only changed the trash bags and replenished the bottled water. However, I'd like to commend the lifeguard at the pool. My child got scared in the water, and their response was very prompt. My thanks to the lifeguard.

Traveling with my kids to Xiamen, I chose the Shangri-La Hotel and the experience exceeded my expectations – it definitely deserves a rave review! The hotel offers a fantastic array of family-friendly activities. The kids' club and craft workshops kept them entertained all day long with something new to do. The biggest surprise was the exclusive beachcombing activity; the guide was professional and reliable, and they even provided buckets, shovels, and protective gear beforehand. Taking the kids to collect shells and catch little crabs by the sea was an absolute delight, connecting them with nature. A special thank you to Irene, our concierge, who proactively helped us book all the family activities before we even checked in, and to Yulia, who patiently answered all our travel questions and arranged a late check-out. Their service was thoughtful and thorough, always responding promptly to any request. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location right by the beach made it super convenient for taking the kids out. This is definitely our top choice for a stress-free family vacation, and we'll be back here on our next visit to Xiamen.

Winding our way up the tree-lined paths of Xian'gueshan Mountain, the air gradually became moist and cool. It felt like a magical escape from the bustling, humid city, into a 'city oasis' nestled in the mountains. The moment I opened the room door after checking in, the fatigue from the journey instantly melted away. Room | A Mountain Holiday Opened by a Courtyard The room felt very spacious, with a layout of about 40 square meters that was just right. What surprised me the most, naturally, was the exquisite private balcony. Le Méridien's room types each offer different views, and I chose the garden view balcony room specifically for a quiet, relaxing stay. After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like. The room's hardware can be summed up in two words: solid and reliable. Beyond being clean and tidy, the 'rainforest' shower's stable water pressure and temperature were truly impressive. The hotel also thoughtfully implemented a dry-wet separation in the bathroom, completely eliminating the awkwardness of worrying about splashing the toilet while showering. The experience was very comfortable and smooth. The bedding, as always, maintained Le Méridien's high standards, soft, fluffy, and supportive, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. Environment | French Romance Hidden in the Mountains If the guest room brought surprise, then the entire hotel environment was stunning. Le Méridien Xiamen's location is meticulously chosen, nestled charmingly on the mountainside of Xian'gueshan. The overall architectural style leans towards a resort villa, so secluded and tranquil that it doesn't feel like it's in the bustling downtown area of the island. Compared to many coastal hotels that face the humidity and noise of sea winds, the mountain landscape here truly provides another level of spiritual enjoyment. The hotel's artistic atmosphere, from the corridors to the public spaces, everywhere you can feel the unique imprint of French aesthetics. Whether it's the artistic flair of the chandeliers or the fragrance in the lobby, everything constantly reminds me that I'm staying in a stylish Le Méridien. The dense vegetation surrounding the hotel makes it feel like living in a natural oxygen bar. A morning jog in Xian'gueshan Park, enjoying the pleasure of sweating freely in the mountains, is a unique experience that you can never feel in a hotel gym. Service and Details | Thoughtfulness Hidden in Every Detail The staff, from the front desk to the concierge, maintained a perfectly measured, welcoming smile. During check-in, the front desk lady patiently asked about my preferences. Knowing that I valued privacy and quiet, she specifically helped arrange a room set apart from other guests on the same floor, handling everything gently and efficiently, which was truly heartwarming. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service down the mountain, making it convenient to travel to the Seaworld shopping center and Dongdu Ferry Terminal. On weekends and holidays, there's even a free shuttle bus connecting to popular attractions like Zhongshan Road and Baicheng Beach. One evening, a guest was inconsiderately skipping rope upstairs; after calling the front desk, they responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly! Truly commendable! Conclusion On the day of check-out, the morning sun still gently warmed the garden view balcony, as if possessing a magic that made me reluctant to close the door and leave. To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels, but rarely have I felt such a pang of reluctance upon departure as this time. It embodies the entire mountain forest, yet never strays from the human world, truly interpreting the beautiful realm of 'hidden in the bustling city, yet nestled in the mountains.' If you long for a tranquil vacation experience, listening to the wind on the mountainside, then Le Méridien Xiamen's Garden View Balcony King Room is definitely worth unlocking!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at this hotel; it's always a reliable choice. Since 2019, I must have stayed at least 50 times. While the facilities are showing a little bit of age now (they're still great, thanks to the excellent original design and materials), you can clearly see the effort from all the staff. Their exceptional service more than makes up for any minor wear and tear, truly making it one of the best hotels around. There are three main reasons I'm writing such a detailed review this time: 1. The pool is constantly supervised by staff, genuinely concerned about children's safety. (I'd confidently say no other outdoor pool in Xiamen offers this level of attentiveness.) 2. The dining service is consistently warm and enthusiastic, and the food at the 9th-floor Chinese restaurant is delicious. 3. A special shout-out to the kids' club attendant on the first basement level. They were incredibly friendly; when I asked for a cotton swab, they specifically went to another department to retrieve it and brought it to me. In summary: For a budget of around 1000 RMB in Xiamen, I still highly recommend this hotel. Many five-star hotels today fail to provide truly thoughtful service, but for us, a comfortable and emotionally satisfying experience (which is the most important part) is what we seek in a hotel.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations for this trip, and we were attended by Manager Evelyn! I often saw her name in reviews, so I was surprised to meet her in person, haha. As soon as I checked in, I was rushing with a lot of luggage, and Evelyn was so gentle and patient throughout. She proactively upgraded us to a room with an amazing view and thoughtfully recommended some niche local eateries and travel tips. She was efficient and friendly, and any issues we had afterward were quickly and properly resolved by her. It happened to rain in Xiamen during our stay, and Evelyn even went out of her way to text us, reminding us to bring an umbrella. Later, we tried the breakfast buffet, which had a rich variety of options, including Chinese and Western dishes, freshly ground coffee, desserts, and fruits. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was on point. Getting up early for such a meal was truly delightful. Overall, I feel the value for money was excellent. The whole experience was comfortable and rejuvenating. I'll definitely come back to Xiamen and stay here again next time!

Just checked in at the Renaissance Xiamen Hotel, and every staff member I encountered, even the cleaning staff, was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly – really impressed! The front desk staff proactively helped me with my luggage. In the morning, the refined and courteous server Ayla at the breakfast restaurant was a lifesaver, sorting out all sorts of issues related to my child, allowing me to enjoy a delicious and peaceful breakfast. The hotel and its surroundings are truly delightful and refreshing. Highly recommend it!

We had the perfect opportunity to relax at Shengzhiquan Hot Spring Resort Hotel over the weekend, and it was fantastic – a 5-star review! We booked our room by phone, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We arrived around noon, and after explaining our situation, Ms. Chen at the front desk said she would arrange our check-in as soon as a room became available. We were exhausted from driving all morning and just wanted to rest. They quickly arranged everything. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony overlooking the hot spring pool, which was very comfortable. The hotel has both Chinese and Western restaurants, so we didn't have to worry about meals. The breakfast was also plentiful. And the hot springs! ♨️ These are my favorite part – there are both indoor and outdoor pools, offering excellent privacy. It was so relaxing to soak and chat with my family. A wonderful place, I'll definitely come back again!

The room was very comfortable and the hygiene was in place! Originally, the tour was over, because this place was too comfortable, it was very convenient to take a taxi, and stayed for another night, and also upgraded the room type for free. Hot spring homestay family trip, a complete and warm experience Bring parents and children to this hot spring homestay, and the whole family is very enthusiastic! The boss is very enthusiastic and responsive, haha 😃 The hot spring in the yard is too suitable for the whole family to soak together. The water temperature is gentle and not hot, especially the spa pool parents said that the joint pain was relieved. We were soaking and chatting, and the atmosphere was particularly warm. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft, and the elderly and children sleep very comfortably. In their spare time, parents make tea in the lobby on the first floor, and the handsome boss will accompany them throughout the whole process. This is a duplicate of my review for dates from 6 to 8 June 2026, as I extended my stay for one night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy. The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning. The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere. I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance. This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

It's just a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring local snacks and buying souvenirs. Taxis to Ba Shi Market, Shapowei, and Nanputuo Temple take only about ten minutes, and the ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island is extremely close, so there's no need to rush in the morning. Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available downstairs, and the subway station is just a few minutes' walk away. During the day, you can enjoy the azure sea and sky, taking in the beautiful ocean views. The lighting creates a wonderful ambiance in the mornings and evenings, perfect for capturing stunning photos. Both rooms offer equally great views with no obstructions from other buildings. The overall design features a unique Hokkien-Nanyang retro style, with floral tiles and old Xiamen murals integrated into the lobby and corridors. It feels niche and stylish, setting it apart from typical business hotels, and is perfect for taking distinctive photos. The breakfast service is prompt with quick replenishment, so you don't have to wait long even during peak hours. The ingredients are fresh, and there's a wide variety of drinks. We stayed for four days and didn't have the same breakfast twice. Both the elderly and younger members of our group were very satisfied, which significantly boosts the value for money of the breakfast-inclusive room types.

I was happy with this hotel from the moment I arrived. The doorman, whose name I didn't catch, proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. Seeing I had a child with me, he even took all my bags to the lobby while I checked in. Lin Jiankai at the front desk handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. I requested a quiet room and ended up on the top floor. The room was a good distance from the executive lounge, so it was very quiet, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the lounge. My visit to Xiamen for the May Day holiday was primarily due to the hotel's excellent transportation links. It was a 30-minute taxi ride to the Botanical Garden (due to holiday traffic), and less than 10 minutes by taxi to SM and MixC malls. The hotel itself is connected to Panji Center, which offers a variety of dining options and a cinema. As soon as we checked in, we went to Tongren Siji Coconut Chicken, which was only about 50 meters from the front desk – so convenient and delicious! When I got to the room, I initially thought it might not be very bright based on the online photos, but it was actually very well-lit. You could also request staff to open the windows. I didn't take photos when I first entered, and later the room got a bit messy, so I didn't bother. A few details about the room really stood out: a shoe shine kit and cloth, and by the bathtub, there were disposable tub liners, a loofah, and bath salts. These little touches are a huge plus for me, as many hotels only provide these upon request. The next day, the cleaning lady even left a pack of Heart to Heart facial tissues by the sink, which I think speaks to the quality of the hotel's amenities. Again, many five-star hotels have tissues that fall apart easily. Now, for the executive lounge: The afternoon tea offers three types of pastries and fruit. While not extensive in variety, the quality of the pastries is superb and very tasty. As someone with high standards for desserts, I give Panji Hilton's desserts a five-star rating. Happy Hour, starting at 6:00 PM, is even more impressive, with at least seven or eight hot dishes. On the first night, there was black garlic duck soup, and on the second night, morel mushroom chicken soup, along with roasted lamb. The evening desserts were different from the afternoon selection, and again, they were absolutely delicious! Also, there's a lovely staff member in the lounge, Ms. Cao Mengying, who is incredibly professional. Not only did she provide meticulous service in the lounge, but since I was staying on that floor, she would always greet me whenever I left or returned, making me feel truly at home. The hotel's smart features are also up-to-date, with an electric toilet in the room and robots that can deliver meals. Regarding service, I had an unexpected injury at the hotel. Trip.com's customer service followed up promptly and with concern, and the hotel also handled it very efficiently. They even called the next day to check on my wound and left a box of cheese sticks in the fridge for me. For other requests, like mineral water, Kung Fu tea sets, and bed rails, the hotel provided everything I needed. Thumbs up! Due to work, I'll be coming to Xiamen often in the future, and I will definitely choose Panji Hilton again next time!

Reuniting with friends after a long time, five of us traveled together and wanted to stay in one space! We were so pleasantly surprised to find this suite that could accommodate all of us in one room! No need to split up, it was lively and comfortable the whole time, and our travel happiness factor was off the charts~ The bathroom design was especially thoughtful, with a complete wet/dry separation, and the shower and toilet were independently separated. The double sink design was fantastic! We could all get ready and wash up at the same time without feeling cramped; it even had a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of fun~ One side of the room offered a sea view. While not a full frontal sea view, the expansive vista and ambiance were amazing, and every photo turned out beautifully. The amenities were comprehensive. The first round of drinks in the room's mini-fridge was complimentary, and it also came with a full tea set, wine glasses, along with free tea bags and coffee, making it convenient for a drink or a chat over tea. The room type was a king bed plus a sofa bed, so five people staying didn't feel crowded at all. You can contact housekeeping to request extra blankets! The hotel service was truly attentive! Before check-in, our dedicated butler proactively communicated about our arrival time and followed up attentively throughout. After check-in, any request was met promptly, with detailed and unperfunctory service. They even offered complimentary drinks from the bar. The service experience was top-notch! The breakfast spread was rich and varied, a combination of Chinese and Western options, and very delicious~ Overall, the room was clean and tidy with excellent natural light. The hotel is located directly opposite the beach, though the area is a bit secluded, perfect for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The only minor regret was not having enough time to experience facilities like the gym and swimming pool. Also, there were few indoor seats; it would be even better with a couple more chairs. Overall, both the value for money and the experience were excellent. It's the top choice for group travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen!

The area around the hotel is packed with dining options, from local specialties to chain restaurants – whether you're looking for a quick meal or planning a leisurely dinner, you'll find plenty of choices within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for food. The hotel also features a gym, a swimming pool, and a sauna, which my kids really enjoyed. What truly made our stay pleasant was the dedicated butler service. Our butler proactively contacted us before arrival to discuss our needs and was incredibly helpful with everything from check-in instructions to following up on special requests. The service was thoughtful and attentive.

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! It was my first time to travel to Xiamen. Huang Zhiwei, the hotel receptionist, was enthusiastic and greeted us with a smile. He accompanied us throughout the check-in process, helped with the luggage, and accompanied us to the room. During the period, he enthusiastically explained the hotel check-in knowledge and travel guide, which made us feel like home. The scenery inside the hotel is super beautiful, there are many play facilities, and the children had a lot of fun. The room is very large. The living experience is full. The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

On the last day of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously booked the Hyatt when looking for a hotel near the airport, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. 1. I chose a bay view room, and the view from the room was excellent, with beautiful night scenery. 2. The hotel's bedding was great; I slept very comfortably, which was a nice surprise. 3. There's a shopping mall right downstairs from the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient.

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
