This was my first stay at the Pan Pacific Xiamen, and I was really impressed. The staff were all incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. A special thanks goes to Manager Zeng at the front desk, who assigned a room that perfectly suited my preferences, making my stay smooth and comfortable. The hotel's location is also fantastic – right next to a subway entrance and bus stops, with everything you could need nearby. It's also very close to Dongdu Wharf and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, which was incredibly convenient.

This hotel is nearly 30 years old, and while it has been renovated and upgraded, many rooms still have issues. For example, the rooms are small, and you can only bathe in a bathtub; there's no separate shower. The old hairdryer is very difficult to use, noisy, and has weak airflow. The mattress sags slightly in the middle. However, the air conditioning works wonderfully! The service is warm and friendly; both the housekeeping staff and front desk greet you. Check-in is done seated, and the front desk staff genuinely greeted my child, not in a robotic way. This level of service easily surpasses many newer hotels. The charm of an older hotel with experienced staff really makes you feel at home.

Overall, it was a good stay. The room facilities were moderately new, and the bathroom was quite nice, though it was a bit disappointing not to have a smart toilet. The room was very clean, and the view was also good. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. As an international brand, the service was impeccable and very thoughtful. For this price point in Xiamen, it offers excellent value for money. It's worth mentioning that the Japanese Teppanyaki on the second floor is great value; the 129 yuan single set meal offers a generous amount of food.

Before coming to Xiamen, I saw many online recommendations for this hotel, so I decided to give it a try. The hotel's exterior is generally good, though the rooms are a bit dated. However, the sea view is excellent, with Gulangyu Island directly outside the window. The location is superb, very close to the ferry and Zhongshan Road, making it convenient for getting around. The room hygiene was fine, and the breakfast was also decent, though children are charged extra.

I'm reviewing this after getting back from overseas. If you need a hotel near the airport, this is absolutely the best choice. For an early flight requiring me to be there by 6 AM, the hotel informed me there's a shuttle bus at 5:50 AM. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. I've stayed in many airport hotels worldwide, and this one is definitely among the top. I forgot to take photos, so I'll just end this review with a picture of me wearing the hotel slippers on the plane. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have another early flight. Wishing them continued success!

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Grand Hotel Tainan in Xiamen this time. The lobby manager and front desk staff on duty were very welcoming and helped us upgrade our room and even gave us complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. We were also lucky enough to win two tickets to the Botanical Garden! And you can store your luggage for free after checking out! The only minor drawback might be that the room was a bit humid due to the rainy season, and the bedding wasn't as dry as I'd like. However, given the reasonable price and the perfect service 💯, I still highly recommend booking here~

My stay at Pullman Xiamen Powerlong was fantastic. It's right by Yundang Lake, so after dinner, I enjoyed a lovely stroll along the lake, admiring the beautiful lake views and city lights. The front desk service was friendly and efficient; they gave me great practical advice on local attractions and food. The room assigned by the lady at the front desk was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Plus, there's a heated pool perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. The location is excellent, making it a worthwhile choice for a trip to Xiamen.

After extensive research online, this hotel definitely lived up to expectations! Choosing the Seaview Global Hotel was a delightful surprise! We pre-booked a deluxe sea-view room, and our attentive dedicated butler, Miaomiao, even upgraded us for free to a Tianyue Pavilion panoramic sea-view room. The view was instantly much more expansive and absolutely stunning. Butler Miaomiao was very responsive; any issues were promptly communicated and resolved. Her service was thoughtful and heartwarming. The hotel certainly lives up to its reputation as a seasoned family-friendly resort, with incredibly comprehensive children's facilities. There's a mini-train, pony cart rides, go-karts – everything you could wish for, and the kids had a blast. The summer activities with the 'Happy Fruits' program were diverse and entertaining, so the children had different play options every day. The resort grounds are beautiful, and there are many activity choices, making a family vacation easy and stress-free. It's perfectly suited for families traveling with children, and I'd love to try different room types. We'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time we visit Xiamen!

For a two-night stay, the hotel proactively cleaned the room and changed towels, etc. Environment: The room was decorated very well, and my child was thrilled upon entering. Service: The service was impeccable. There was always someone to help with luggage when getting in and out of the car. The hotel even arranged for complimentary breakfast for me and my three children. When we needed a disposable bathtub liner, we just made a call and the hotel quickly delivered it.

I had high expectations for Le Méridien Xiamen, a high-end Marriott property, especially after booking the One-Bedroom Villa Suite 1101. However, my experience was deeply disappointing. First, there were hygiene issues. On the first night, I found a bug while dining in the restaurant. Later, I discovered a dead insect in the downstairs bathroom of my room. When I called housekeeping, I also realized the doorbell was broken. For a high-end hotel, this level of hygiene and facility maintenance is simply unacceptable. The most egregious issue was the guest room security. Due to the broken doorbell, the hotel said they would arrange for repairs. I understood that equipment needed fixing and was willing to cooperate. However, the next day at noon, while I was taking a nap in my room, I suddenly heard noises outside. When I opened the door, a male maintenance worker had already entered the room area and set up a ladder near the stairs, ready to start repairs. Throughout this entire process, I received no phone call, no text message, no email, and absolutely no form of consent was requested. Both I and my companion are female, and we were genuinely shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We had to demand that he leave immediately. To this day, I wonder: Does the hotel allow non-emergency maintenance staff to enter an occupied room without the guest's knowledge? How does such a procedure ensure guest privacy and safety? Beyond that, the front desk service was also disappointing. One evening, I wanted to inquire about a specific dish I had ordered via in-room dining for lunch, just to know which restaurant it came from. The front desk repeatedly insisted I show the order receipt and made no effort to help me look it up. As we tried to find the consumption record, the staff even walked away directly, leaving us stranded at the front desk, showing a complete lack of service awareness. Later, at the Chinese restaurant, I first tried to order baby lobsters, but was told they were unavailable. I switched to green crab, waited a while, and was told that was also unavailable. I then changed to mud crab, and again, it wasn't available. This happened three times in a row, with each unavailability communicated only after a long wait. In the end, I had to settle for yellow croaker. The food tasted good, but the overall dining experience was very poor. After dinner, I went to the executive lounge. There was almost no proactive service, and the staff were chatting loudly, completely undermining the quiet and professional atmosphere one expects from an executive lounge. My impression from this stay is not that just one aspect was flawed, but that there were significant shortcomings across hygiene management, room maintenance, security management, front desk service, F&B operations, and executive lounge service. Specifically, the incident where a male maintenance worker was arranged to enter an occupied room without guest consent is what I found most unacceptable. Equipment can break down, but a hotel should never disregard a guest's fundamental right to privacy, security, and information. I hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this matter and provides a formal explanation. I also hope other guests, especially female guests, are aware of this.

Here's my review: **Pros:** 1. The environment is absolutely top-notch. 2. The service staff, including the security personnel, are exceptionally helpful and resolve any issues you might have. Other staff members proactively greet guests. I'd particularly like to mention Fiona, Sylvia Wang, and Doris Zhang by name, though all the other service staff were superb too! Give them a raise! 3. Fiona kindly brought me welcome snacks and a welcome gift. **Cons:** 1. As soon as I entered the room, there was a strong, musty old furniture smell. It was incredibly heavy, and it even woke me up once during the night. The hotel really needs to replace its furniture, or at least some of the wooden elements like doors and wardrobes, as the moldy wood smell is too overpowering. The room door also looks very old and definitely needs replacing! (Fiona did provide an air purifier, but that's just a temporary fix). 2. As you can see in Picture 3, the hangers are also very old, and age makes them look dirty. 3. The small makeup mirror in the bathroom kept drooping and wouldn't stay up. It should be replaced. 4. The TV is also very old – an ancient Philips model. The remote control is sluggish, taking ages to change channels, which was frustrating to watch. 5. The hotel lacks robots. They should invest in delivery robots so guests can easily have food delivered to their rooms. 6. The breakfast selection is rich and varied. I highly recommend the wontons and waffles. The lady making waffles and the gentleman and lady cooking wontons were all very enthusiastic. (Give them a raise!) In summary, the smell in the room is arguably this hotel's biggest flaw, but it's not something that can be changed quickly. It will depend on the owner's decision.

Out of my two-week trip, the Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was what I was looking forward to the most 🏨, but reality hit us hard. This was, surprisingly, the most disappointing stay of the entire journey. 👇 💢 **Noise Nightmare** Late at night, guests upstairs were still jumping around 💃, and then in the early hours, I was woken up by the chattering of the aunties next door 🗣️. I spent the entire night in torment 😫. After complaining, the front desk actually blamed the parents?! ”We can't control children jumping around.” This response definitely deserves a bad review 🙅‍♀️. 💢 **Service Fails** I asked for two bowls when checking in 🥣, but even this simple request was messed up ❌. What's worse: I asked for them around 10 PM when I checked in, and they didn't arrive until almost midnight 🕛. The efficiency was simply abysmal. 💢 **Chaotic Environment** The hotel entrance was crowded with vendors' stalls 💥. Is this really a five-star hotel? 🤔 ✨ **Only Positives** The bedding was indeed comfortable 🛏️, and the breakfast selection was quite rich 🥐. The decor was truly distinctive (too bad I had no mood for photos 📸). **Summary:** Came with high expectations, left utterly disappointed 😔. Suggest avoiding this one! ‼️

Kids loved the family suite so much, they didn't want to leave! ❤️ We brought our child to Xiamen this time, and the hotel upgraded us to a Sun and Moon Valley family suite. The overall experience was even better than expected, perfect for a family vacation. The room was very spacious. As soon as we entered, my child started exploring everywhere. The room was filled with animal-themed furniture and decorations – deer, ponies, a giraffe lamp, and many adorable plush toys. It was truly whimsical! Even my usually picky daughter had a blast, spending half the day just taking photos in the room. The bed was huge, easily accommodating four people without feeling cramped. The overall decor had a Southeast Asian resort vibe. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, without that dated feel you sometimes get with older hotels. The hotel itself has plenty of facilities for kids: billiards, table tennis, a swimming pool, and a children's activity area, all of which helped us pass the time. Our family also played a super-sized foosball game, which was a lot of fun. The hot spring area is right across the street, with a shuttle service running back and forth, making it incredibly convenient. After a relaxing soak, coming back to rest was a breeze. The breakfast selection was also quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options, generally satisfying the tastes of our entire family. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially towards families with children.

The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft, and the elderly and children sleep very comfortably. Additionally, the housekeeping staff on the 13th floor were very nice; the little notes they left on the door were a thoughtful and heartwarming touch.

I was happy with this hotel from the moment I arrived. The doorman, whose name I didn't catch, proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. Seeing I had a child with me, he even took all my bags to the lobby while I checked in. Lin Jiankai at the front desk handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. I requested a quiet room and ended up on the top floor. The room was a good distance from the executive lounge, so it was very quiet, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the lounge. My visit to Xiamen for the May Day holiday was primarily due to the hotel's excellent transportation links. It was a 30-minute taxi ride to the Botanical Garden (due to holiday traffic), and less than 10 minutes by taxi to SM and MixC malls. The hotel itself is connected to Panji Center, which offers a variety of dining options and a cinema. As soon as we checked in, we went to Tongren Siji Coconut Chicken, which was only about 50 meters from the front desk – so convenient and delicious! When I got to the room, I initially thought it might not be very bright based on the online photos, but it was actually very well-lit. You could also request staff to open the windows. I didn't take photos when I first entered, and later the room got a bit messy, so I didn't bother. A few details about the room really stood out: a shoe shine kit and cloth, and by the bathtub, there were disposable tub liners, a loofah, and bath salts. These little touches are a huge plus for me, as many hotels only provide these upon request. The next day, the cleaning lady even left a pack of Heart to Heart facial tissues by the sink, which I think speaks to the quality of the hotel's amenities. Again, many five-star hotels have tissues that fall apart easily. Now, for the executive lounge: The afternoon tea offers three types of pastries and fruit. While not extensive in variety, the quality of the pastries is superb and very tasty. As someone with high standards for desserts, I give Panji Hilton's desserts a five-star rating. Happy Hour, starting at 6:00 PM, is even more impressive, with at least seven or eight hot dishes. On the first night, there was black garlic duck soup, and on the second night, morel mushroom chicken soup, along with roasted lamb. The evening desserts were different from the afternoon selection, and again, they were absolutely delicious! Also, there's a lovely staff member in the lounge, Ms. Cao Mengying, who is incredibly professional. Not only did she provide meticulous service in the lounge, but since I was staying on that floor, she would always greet me whenever I left or returned, making me feel truly at home. The hotel's smart features are also up-to-date, with an electric toilet in the room and robots that can deliver meals. Regarding service, I had an unexpected injury at the hotel. Trip.com's customer service followed up promptly and with concern, and the hotel also handled it very efficiently. For other requests, like mineral water, Kung Fu tea sets, and bed rails, the hotel provided everything I needed. Thumbs up! Due to work, I'll be coming to Xiamen often in the future, and I will definitely choose Panji Hilton again next time!

This isn't my first time staying here, and I really love it; the experience is consistently great. The breakfast selection changes a bit daily, always featuring authentic Southern Fujian specialties. There's a wide variety and the food tastes excellent. The room is also very dorm-like, quiet, and the bed is fantastic, leading to naturally high-quality sleep. The only minor downside is that the pool isn't very big, but the water quality is excellent. Also, our butler, Merry, took great care of us. For example, she'd ask what we wanted refilled in the minibar and prepared turn-down service nightly before we came back (which included a pre-sleep dessert, a floor mat next to the bed, and indoor slippers).

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the beach promenade. The service was fantastic; they saw I had a child and proactively upgraded us to a family room. The hotel pool was very clean, and I even saw them cleaning the hot spring pool first thing in the morning. Breakfast was extensive, with local specialties like Shacha noodles and freshly fried sesame balls which were delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wanda Plaza. Alan and the duty manager at the front desk were very nice, polite, and professional, deserving a five-star rating! We stayed on the executive floor, and the daily Happy Hour menu was always different, offering hot dishes, salads, soup of the day, fruits, and various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. It was very abundant and tasted great. Breakfast was also very extensive, featuring local delicacies like satay noodles and southern Fujian five-spice rolls, which were delicious. The staff in the restaurant, guest rooms, recreational facilities, and executive lounge were all wonderful, greeting us every time we saw them. Every day when we returned to the lobby, the lobby manager would politely greet us, making us feel right at home. We were very satisfied with our trip to Xiamen.

We booked a family room, which had an extra small bed combined with the main one, perfect for us traveling with two young children. The theme was Xiamen Airlines, though it was a bit disappointing that the headboard didn't have the airplane pattern shown when I booked online. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including an infinity pool. Although there isn't a separate children's pool, the water isn't deep, so our kids still had a great time! The breakfast we booked also offered a good variety and the food was tasty. The hotel even sells Xiamen Airlines merchandise, and guests get a discount, which is a nice touch. The only minor drawback for me was the parking lot; our 7-seater car is quite large, and there were barely any spots big enough! Aside from that, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations!

It was my first time to travel to Xiamen. Huang Zhiwei, the hotel receptionist, was enthusiastic and greeted us with a smile. He accompanied us throughout the check-in process, helped with the luggage, and accompanied us to the room. During the period, he enthusiastically explained the hotel check-in knowledge and travel guide, which made us feel like home. The scenery inside the hotel is super beautiful, there are many play facilities, and the children had a lot of fun. The room is very large. The living experience is full. The service is excellent. The staff personally helped me to pay my taxi fare for me when the driver didn't have change. As it was after midnight, she told me to get some rest and pay her the next day after I got some small change. The hotel is totally cashless so they didn't have any small change also. The hotel's facilities are very good and high tech.. I recommend this hotel if you want a comfortable stay.

My first stay at the Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuan Bay last March left such a great impression that I couldn't stop thinking about it. So, when I specifically came to Xiamen for a concert this time, I didn't hesitate to choose this familiar hotel again. Comparing my two stays: Visiting again after a year, the overall experience had some subtle changes. Compared to last year, the doorman's enthusiasm seemed to have slightly waned, and the turndown service felt a bit perfunctory, although the service attitude was still quite good. Additionally, the food quality at the Club Lounge and the first-floor breakfast restaurant had a slight decline; it's no longer something I'd go out of my way to experience. Highlights of my stay: Despite the slight dip in dining details, the concierge service at the hotel remained consistently high-standard and was the biggest plus point of my entire stay. During the concert period, the hotel's exclusive shuttle bus service was well-organized, making the entire journey worry-free. I connected with Irene, the Concierge Manager, via WeChat a week in advance, and our communication was very smooth. Just like last year, upon returning to the hotel, there was still a handwritten welcome card and fresh fruit, a testament to the concierge team's thoughtfulness. Club Lounge Suite: Both stays offered different delightful room experiences. Last year, I stayed in room 1319. This time, traveling with my mother, I opted for the Club Lounge Suite 1815, which was perfectly suited for a family trip. The room was spacious and expansive, with a bright and open view, making for maximum living comfort. Although the hotel has been open for nine years, the guest rooms are very well-maintained. As night falls, the warm wooden textures in the room exude a sense of luxury, showcasing that classic Hyatt quality. Hyatt Hotels' Pharmacopia bath amenities are also a long-time favorite of mine. Perhaps it's not the best hotel in Xiamen, but among my numerous trips to Xiamen, it remains my most reliable and preferred choice.

I had a business trip to Indonesia and needed to transfer in Xiamen, so I specifically booked the Xindongya Hotel. Overall, the experience was great!👍 The hotel is only about 1 kilometer from Xiamen Gaoqi Airport's departure hall and offers a free shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient for business travelers with early morning flights. My flight was at 8 AM, and leaving the hotel at 6 AM was more than enough time; I didn't have to worry about missing my flight at all. Since my flight was so early, I missed the hotel breakfast, but the front desk thoughtfully packed a breakfast for me, which was a really nice touch ❤️. The hotel environment and room decor are quite clean, making it very suitable for business travelers or those needing an overnight stay for an airport transfer. The price is also quite reasonable, offering good value for money. The only slight disappointment was the noticeable noise from the air conditioning when it was running. It felt like the equipment was a bit old. If they could upgrade the AC units, the overall stay would be even better. Overall, with its proximity to the airport, free shuttle service, attentive service, and good value for money, it's a recommendable hotel near the airport.

This has to be the most satisfying hotel I've ever stayed in. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its layout and furnishings. The iron bunk beds were an instant hit with the kids; they were climbing up and down, playing non-stop. The room was also very clean, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. My whole family loved it, and we'll definitely be back if we pass through Xiamen again! 🌹🌹

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
