The biggest highlight of this stay at Pan Pacific was Rocky, the duty manager. Not only was he incredibly efficient during check-in, but he also thoughtfully upgraded my room with a better view. Throughout the process, he was very professional, and his recommendations for local transport and dining were spot on. You can really tell he loves his job; this kind of warm service instantly melted away any travel fatigue. I'll definitely be looking for Rocky again on my next visit! 👍

Thanks to Ella's thoughtful service, my recent business trip stay at Marco Polo Xiamen was absolutely flawless, deserving a full five-star rating! 👍 The hotel is ideally located by the Yundang Lake in the heart of the city, making commutes and errands incredibly convenient. The overall ambiance is elegant and serene, truly reflecting the rich heritage of a long-standing five-star hotel. The lobby is grand and impressive, and the guest rooms are clean and comfortable, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I had most of my meals at the 8th-floor Executive Lounge. The lounge has extensive operating hours, and the breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour selections were all abundant with excellent food quality. What truly stood out was the warm, attentive, and friendly service from all the lounge staff – their kindness was truly heartwarming and perfectly balanced. A special thank you to Ella, the Club Floor Manager, for her meticulous and thoughtful service. She was always attentive to guests' needs, providing a consistently comfortable and personalized experience throughout my stay, which significantly eased the fatigue of my business travels. With both excellent facilities and heartfelt service, this hotel will definitely be my top choice for future business trips to Xiamen. Since I was visiting Gulangyu the next day, I decided to stay here for a night to avoid the morning traffic, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spacious and offered a direct view of Gulangyu. It even came with a microwave, which is something other hotels usually don't provide, and I found that very convenient, even though I didn't use it. If I had to suggest any improvements, it would be that the hotel entrance had a very strong fragrance. Also, my child's clothes got stained from food, and the hotel didn't have a laundry room. They did provide some soap later, but I'd suggest they keep some small sachets of laundry detergent on hand.

This hotel is perfect for business trips. The flight information screen in the lobby shows real-time updates, so you don't have to keep checking your flight status. Both the public areas and guest rooms are well-maintained. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the Southern Fujian specialty dishes are authentic and delicious. The only downside is that the dining area is a bit small, so you might have to share a table during peak hours. Overall, the amenities are practical and thoughtful. Airport Shuttle Service: The dedicated shuttle service for airport transfers makes getting around convenient and hassle-free. The driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about flight schedules. Facilities: The overall facilities of the hotel are excellent. The art gallery on the upper floors is a unique feature. It would be even better if they had an executive lounge. Environment: The lake view is decent, not particularly grand, but thankfully it's quiet. You can see the airport from the other side. Service: The service was warm and attentive. Cleanliness: No issues at all 👌🏻

A special thanks to Mulu for their genuine service during my stay. As a loyal InterContinental guest, I truly felt at home here. The service was warm and thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, actively helping me with the car door and luggage. I hope they continue to maintain this excellent standard. The room, as always, was spacious and impressive. Even though the hotel has been operating for several years, the facilities are still well-maintained. The breakfast quality was also consistently good. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Overall, it's great value for money, and I hope they keep up with hardware maintenance and renovation.

We were entitled to either a Minnan-style afternoon tea for four or a supper buffet for four. We didn't choose the afternoon tea as we were out and about and couldn't make it back in time. However, before leaving, we bought various pastries, cakes, and bread that the hotel was selling at the entrance, and they were all delicious and excellent value for money. The supper (starting at 8:30 PM) was simply fantastic, we were extremely satisfied.

Even though there was a large crowd checking in during the evening, the process was well-organized. When discussing my itinerary and getting an invoice, the staff member was attentive, responsible, and responded professionally and appropriately. The hotel's location is superb, making commuting easy, and the lobby environment is grand and quiet. You can tell from the front desk service that the hotel has a mature and comprehensive service system. The entire stay was hassle-free and comfortable, making it a top choice for business travelers. I highly recommend it to anyone coming to Xiamen for work.

My kids had been begging to stay at a hotel for ages. I was looking for a luxurious resort by the sea – no flying required – with a water park, a beach, and a kids' club for a few days. Then I stumbled upon this place! After checking out the facilities and reviews, it perfectly matched all my criteria. I booked a 3-night stay on a certain travel app, about half a month in advance. I was so worried about rain and checked the weather forecast daily. I specifically chose the only few rain-free days of the month, with temperatures over 30 degrees, perfect for swimming! You can never go wrong with a five-star hotel; an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari! There are absolutely no downsides. Initially, I was a bit nervous because some reviews mentioned the breakfast being very poor. However, the main building and the Water Garden have two separate buffet breakfast restaurants. When checking in, the front desk didn't know how long we'd have to wait for a room, so they upgraded us and even included a complimentary hotel afternoon tea! I was shocked to find we were upgraded to a poolside room in the Water Garden! This was a room type I wouldn't even dream of… so touching! However, staying in the main building and the Water Garden each has its advantages. The main building is super convenient for the kids' club and water park, including room service. The Water Garden doesn't have a kids' club, and its pool only has one slide. (But hotels with water features tend to be a bit humid overall; the bed always felt slightly damp, much like our plum rain season, and clothes took forever to dry, even though it was sunny). 1. The buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had. I've stayed in many high-end beach hotels both domestically and internationally, but this one offered fresh squeezed juices daily! I've never seen that before. And you could keep getting Eggs Benedict; the quality was like having a fancy brunch at a Western restaurant. You'll likely find everything you want! The hours were 7:00-10:30 AM, so you barely needed lunch. 2. Although you need to call a shuttle to get from the Water Garden to the main building, they're always responsive, and they even help deliver some takeout. The most memorable moment was one evening when I went to the lobby to buy Haagen-Dazs late at night. The lobby staff had to help scoop it. I bought three scoops, and one of the kids accidentally knocked over their ice cream. We were going to scoop off the top layer for ourselves and give the remaining one to the child, but the staff immediately scooped a fresh one! It was so touching! While there were a few individual staff members who weren't as good, overall, the service was fantastic! 3. The bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Although I wasn't a fan of the pillows, the bed itself was truly comfortable! The 2-meter bed comfortably slept 2 small children and 1 adult. The hotel can also install bed rails, which were very effective! Unlike other family-friendly hotels I've stayed at where they easily loosen, these rails were great; no need to worry about the kids falling off at night. 4. The beach was a bit of a walk, quite far for small children, as you had to go through an underground tunnel with lots of stairs up and down, crossing the main Huan Dao Nan Road. You could exit directly from the hotel by swiping your card. On the way, we saw so many giant African snails – a new experience, I'd never seen them in real life before. 5. The kids' club was huge, and the activities were plentiful! You could genuinely just relax at the hotel; if you have young kids and don't want to venture out, this is the perfect choice! 6. Most importantly, there were so many of my beloved frangipani flowers here! Fresh frangipani often fell into the pool. I thought I'd only see frangipani again if I went to Thailand!!! But I found them here, which was so touching!!! There were also many fruit trees at the hotel; a wax apple tree was right by the lobby entrance, and I think I even saw a jackfruit tree while riding the little train around the grounds!!! The whole hotel made me feel like I was in Thailand… 7. The welcome fruits were not perfunctory and very fresh! The minibar was the most luxurious I've ever seen!!!!! The Xiamen beer was hohoho delicious~! You can always trust the experience of a five-star hotel! If you're also looking for a hotel to just relax and have fun with your kids, choose this one! I'd be happy to choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiamen, especially if I could stay in a poolside room again, that would be pure joy, hahaha.

I highly recommend the Shangri-La Xiamen! Even before my stay, the concierge, Yulia, proactively reached out to me. She thoughtfully sent local travel tips and even helped book family activities at the hotel, making the pre-arrival communication incredibly smooth. During my summer stay, the hotel was very busy, and we encountered a minor hiccup during check-in. However, Yulia actively coordinated and efficiently resolved the issue, making us feel completely at ease with her handling of the situation. It's clear that the hotel's service goes beyond the superficial; they genuinely listen to guests' perspectives when issues arise. Overall, our stay was comfortable, and the family-friendly amenities were excellent. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Xiamen, and Yulia's thoughtful and responsible service deserves special praise!

I had high expectations for Le Méridien Xiamen, a high-end Marriott property, especially after booking the One-Bedroom Villa Suite 1101. However, my experience was deeply disappointing. First, there were hygiene issues. On the first night, I found a bug while dining in the restaurant. Later, I discovered a dead insect in the downstairs bathroom of my room. When I called housekeeping, I also realized the doorbell was broken. For a high-end hotel, this level of hygiene and facility maintenance is simply unacceptable. The most egregious issue was the guest room security. Due to the broken doorbell, the hotel said they would arrange for repairs. I understood that equipment needed fixing and was willing to cooperate. However, the next day at noon, while I was taking a nap in my room, I suddenly heard noises outside. When I opened the door, a male maintenance worker had already entered the room area and set up a ladder near the stairs, ready to start repairs. Throughout this entire process, I received no phone call, no text message, no email, and absolutely no form of consent was requested. Both I and my companion are female, and we were genuinely shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We had to demand that he leave immediately. To this day, I wonder: Does the hotel allow non-emergency maintenance staff to enter an occupied room without the guest's knowledge? How does such a procedure ensure guest privacy and safety? Beyond that, the front desk service was also disappointing. One evening, I wanted to inquire about a specific dish I had ordered via in-room dining for lunch, just to know which restaurant it came from. The front desk repeatedly insisted I show the order receipt and made no effort to help me look it up. As we tried to find the consumption record, the staff even walked away directly, leaving us stranded at the front desk, showing a complete lack of service awareness. Later, at the Chinese restaurant, I first tried to order baby lobsters, but was told they were unavailable. I switched to green crab, waited a while, and was told that was also unavailable. I then changed to mud crab, and again, it wasn't available. This happened three times in a row, with each unavailability communicated only after a long wait. In the end, I had to settle for yellow croaker. The food tasted good, but the overall dining experience was very poor. After dinner, I went to the executive lounge. There was almost no proactive service, and the staff were chatting loudly, completely undermining the quiet and professional atmosphere one expects from an executive lounge. My impression from this stay is not that just one aspect was flawed, but that there were significant shortcomings across hygiene management, room maintenance, security management, front desk service, F&B operations, and executive lounge service. Specifically, the incident where a male maintenance worker was arranged to enter an occupied room without guest consent is what I found most unacceptable. Equipment can break down, but a hotel should never disregard a guest's fundamental right to privacy, security, and information. I hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this matter and provides a formal explanation. I also hope other guests, especially female guests, are aware of this.

My family of three spent a weekend getaway at the Renaissance Xiamen, and we were absolutely thrilled with the experience! **Facilities:** We booked a poolside room, and the space inside was incredibly spacious. All the amenities were complete and looked brand new. Being able to step right out to the pool was fantastic – our child spent the whole day splashing around and didn't want to leave. **Service:** A special shout-out to all the hotel staff; their attitudes were exceptionally kind and attentive. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant service, any requests were responded to promptly. **Dining:** On Saturday evening, we made sure to try the buffet dinner. It mainly featured mini hot pots, along with an abundance of crayfish. The variety of dishes was impressive, with seafood, hot dishes, and desserts all available. The ingredients were super fresh, and we left feeling very satisfied. The breakfast buffet the next day was also excellent. **Environment:** The location is another big plus, being very close to the beach, making it super convenient for a stroll. We had a comfortable stay throughout, making it our top choice for a family vacation with kids. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xiamen!

The happiest thing about traveling to Xiamen is to book this homestay. As soon as I entered the door, I was warmly entertained. The housekeeper also sent breakfast. He also gave me black tea and cake rolls. He personally sent the room. The service was very good. He also helped with the luggage. The people were very warm. The room was very comfortable and the hygiene was in place! Originally, the tour was over, because this place was too comfortable, it was very convenient to take a taxi, and stayed for another night, and also upgraded the room type for free. Hot spring homestay family trip, a complete and warm experience Bring parents and children to this hot spring homestay, and the whole family is very enthusiastic! The boss is very enthusiastic and responsive, haha 😃 The hot spring in the yard is too suitable for the whole family to soak together. The water temperature is gentle and not hot, especially the spa pool parents said that the joint pain was relieved. We were soaking and chatting, and the atmosphere was particularly warm. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft, and the elderly and children sleep very comfortably. In their spare time, parents make tea in the lobby on the first floor, and the handsome boss will accompany them throughout the whole process. This is a duplicate of my review for dates from 6 to 8 June 2026, as I extended my stay for one night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy. The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning. The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere. I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance. This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Coco, provided exceptional service. She added me on WeChat the day before our arrival and upgraded us to a high-floor sea-view room, offering a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island right from our window. Coco also gave us two complimentary drink vouchers. Fresh fruit was delivered to our room daily, and drinks and water were replenished promptly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with authentic homemade fish balls and 'bian shi' (wontons), and all the juices were freshly squeezed. Transportation was very convenient. Taxis to and from tourist attractions were easy to get. The cruise terminal is right downstairs, and we really enjoyed our evening cruise on Lujiang River. It's also only two kilometers from Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. The room was clean, well-designed, and had a great artistic vibe. The cleaning staff were diligent and responsible. On our first day, we had a lot of soupy takeout, and they helped us clean it all up.

I was happy with this hotel from the moment I arrived. The doorman, whose name I didn't catch, proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. Seeing I had a child with me, he even took all my bags to the lobby while I checked in. Lin Jiankai at the front desk handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. I requested a quiet room and ended up on the top floor. The room was a good distance from the executive lounge, so it was very quiet, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the lounge. My visit to Xiamen for the May Day holiday was primarily due to the hotel's excellent transportation links. It was a 30-minute taxi ride to the Botanical Garden (due to holiday traffic), and less than 10 minutes by taxi to SM and MixC malls. The hotel itself is connected to Panji Center, which offers a variety of dining options and a cinema. As soon as we checked in, we went to Tongren Siji Coconut Chicken, which was only about 50 meters from the front desk – so convenient and delicious! When I got to the room, I initially thought it might not be very bright based on the online photos, but it was actually very well-lit. You could also request staff to open the windows. I didn't take photos when I first entered, and later the room got a bit messy, so I didn't bother. A few details about the room really stood out: a shoe shine kit and cloth, and by the bathtub, there were disposable tub liners, a loofah, and bath salts. These little touches are a huge plus for me, as many hotels only provide these upon request. The next day, the cleaning lady even left a pack of Heart to Heart facial tissues by the sink, which I think speaks to the quality of the hotel's amenities. Again, many five-star hotels have tissues that fall apart easily. Now, for the executive lounge: The afternoon tea offers three types of pastries and fruit. While not extensive in variety, the quality of the pastries is superb and very tasty. As someone with high standards for desserts, I give Panji Hilton's desserts a five-star rating. Happy Hour, starting at 6:00 PM, is even more impressive, with at least seven or eight hot dishes. On the first night, there was black garlic duck soup, and on the second night, morel mushroom chicken soup, along with roasted lamb. The evening desserts were different from the afternoon selection, and again, they were absolutely delicious! Also, there's a lovely staff member in the lounge, Ms. Cao Mengying, who is incredibly professional. Not only did she provide meticulous service in the lounge, but since I was staying on that floor, she would always greet me whenever I left or returned, making me feel truly at home. The hotel's smart features are also up-to-date, with an electric toilet in the room and robots that can deliver meals. Regarding service, I had an unexpected injury at the hotel. Trip.com's customer service followed up promptly and with concern, and the hotel also handled it very efficiently. They even called the next day to check on my wound and left a box of cheese sticks in the fridge for me. For other requests, like mineral water, Kung Fu tea sets, and bed rails, the hotel provided everything I needed. Thumbs up! Due to work, I'll be coming to Xiamen often in the future, and I will definitely choose Panji Hilton again next time!

After three years, I returned to Xiamen and once again chose to stay at the Crowne Plaza Jimei. My previous experience was excellent, so when I brought my whole family to Xiamen this time, I still opted for the Crowne Plaza, and it was just as comfortable as before. Special thanks to our butler, CoCo, for her thoughtful and attentive service. She proactively asked about our needs and promptly answered all our questions. The hotel's overall environment was clean and comfortable, and all the staff provided meticulous and attentive service. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade during check-in, along with free drink vouchers for the lobby bar, and a complete fruit platter as a welcome amenity. Both the dinner and breakfast at the hotel were of very high quality. This was a truly satisfying and flawless stay. Many thanks to all the hardworking staff, thank you all!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the beach promenade. The service was fantastic; they saw I had a child and proactively upgraded us to a family room. The hotel pool was very clean, and I even saw them cleaning the hot spring pool first thing in the morning. Breakfast was extensive, with local specialties like Shacha noodles and freshly fried sesame balls which were delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay.

This was my fifth stay at Xiamen Airlines Golden Egret. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The room was clean and tidy, and I loved the dark green decor. Our butler, Xiao Zheng, contacted us in advance and gave us some great tips for local attractions. Every evening, she'd also send us the late-night snack menu. The stews and desserts were delicious, and they even provided Tianrun yogurt, which I absolutely loved!

My stay at Xiamen C&D Hotel was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend it! The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

The hotel staff were all wonderful, from the front desk to those who handled luggage, transportation, and food deliveries – everyone was professional and enthusiastic! A pleasant surprise was the free room upgrade; it was very spacious, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. I was here for Shan Yichun's concert, and the hotel offered a shuttle service that dropped us off super close to the venue, saving a lot of walking time. Even though I got back to the hotel quite late last night, they had prepared some sweet treats, which was a very thoughtful touch. Ordering takeout was convenient with the robot delivery. The TV was an older cable model, so if you need HDMI, you'll have to bring your own cable. Still, the overall experience was great; it was fantastic to relax in the hotel with the AC on, watching Hunan TV in the afternoon. I'll definitely stay here again next time I come for a concert!

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
