Beyond being a bit of a walk from the subway, everything else was impeccable. The room was spacious, and the corner glass windows offered great views. The tower building was affordable, unlike the main building which was out of my price range. The garden was expansive, though the cherry blossoms weren't in full bloom yet, so there weren't many flowers. The lower floors are all shopping malls; you can spend a lot of time just wandering around the hotel, from the tower to the main building. It's a great way to pass the time.

Our room was spotless, modern, surprisingly spacious, and offered a beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful selection of fresh Japanese and Western dishes to start each day. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The service at the Imperial Hotel is truly exceptional. From the front desk concierge who escorts guests to their rooms and explains the facilities, the staff are incredibly friendly without being overly formal. It perfectly embodies the hospitality and service standards from Japan's economic boom era. Honestly, the photos don't do the hotel justice, and the facilities aren't the newest, but once you stay, you'll find it incredibly comfortable. The provided toiletries are also excellent. The toilet area, designed so you can sit and do your makeup, is a really thoughtful touch – the Imperial Hotel in Osaka has the same feature. It might look unassuming, but it's very thoughtful and provides a comfortable stay. I found the breakfast buffet to be just okay, not as amazing as some reviews suggest, but it's definitely superior to many hotels in the same price range. Personally, I prefer the Japanese set menu; it truly captures the essence of a Japanese breakfast.

In contrast, Trip.com's service experience during this incident left a deeper impression. The customer service proactively followed up, communicated efficiently, and handled the situation professionally. They were able to push for problem resolution from a customer experience perspective, demonstrating a mature platform service system. This level of after-sales responsiveness is quite high among current online travel platforms. Overall Rating: The hotel's hardware and positioning are fine, but there's room for improvement in service consistency, especially regarding the first-day delivery standards of housekeeping management. Trip.com's coordination and service performance in this incident, on the other hand, highlighted the professional value of their platform.

The facilities are definitely old, but the location is still good. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Japan because I'm used to it, and Roppongi is a pretty nice area to stay in. It's also close to the subway station. However, this time I was very disappointed; the room they gave me smelled terrible. Even after turning on the ventilation and spraying deodorizer, it still stank. The most disgusting part was that the bed sheets were dirty. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't brought disposable sheet covers. I couldn't stand it anymore and asked to change rooms. Their attitude was good, but the hygiene situation is really concerning. I won't be staying here again.
