第一次去巴厘岛之前，我以为它只是一个普通海岛，最多就是海边、咖啡厅、看夕阳那种。结果真正去了之后，才发现它真的很容易让人玩到不想回🤩。其实我觉得巴厘岛最特别的是，它的活动不会非常单一。因为你除了可以看夕阳、看梯田、瀑布、神庙，明天又可以跑去 beach club 放空喝东西，晚上再去海边吃海鲜。所以整个 trip 会有一种很 chill、但是又可以很刺激的感觉。

而且巴厘岛还有一个很神奇的地方，就其实明明很多地方游客超多，但你还是会觉得：“这里真的很美，来到这里真的很满足很值得。” 尤其是巴厘岛的夕阳，真的和平时我看到的不一样🌇。除了这些，巴厘岛对马来西亚人来说真的太方便。首先，飞行时间不算长、其次机票常常有 promo、吃东西也不会太贵，所以很多人第一次去完后，过几个月又会再飞一次 😂 所以如果你最近也在 plan 巴厘岛，这篇我直接帮你整理第一次去最值得打卡的景点，还有不同 area 怎么玩、交通怎么安排这些。第一次去只要无脑跟着玩就好啦！

1️⃣ 乌鲁瓦图神庙 Uluwatu Temple

这个我真的超推荐第一次去巴厘岛的人一定要排进去。它最特别的地方是：神庙直接建在悬崖边上，下面就是印度洋，所以黄昏夕阳出来的时候真的会美到不真实🌴。不过其实很多人来这里不只是为了看神庙，而是为了看傍晚的 Kecak Fire Dance（火舞表演）。现场会有人一边唱传统音乐、一边表演，配夕阳真的很有 vibe。不过我建议提早一点去哦，不然位置会比较后面。

至于门票的话其实不算贵，进去前工作人员会帮你绑 sarong（因为是宗教场所）。还有一个我一定要让你们注意的是⚠️：这里的猴子真的很爱抢东西 😂 墨镜、耳环、手机、帽子都有可能被拿走，所以不要太靠近猴子！

2️⃣ 海神庙 Tanah Lot

海神廟

这个算是巴厘岛经典中的经典。它最著名的地方就是那座建在海上的寺庙。涨潮的时候，整座神庙会看起来像漂浮在海中央一样，所以很多人会专门傍晚来这里看风景。而且这里比很多神庙更 easy going，不会太严肃，附近还有很多小店、咖啡馆、纪念品摊位可以慢慢逛。而且其实这里很适合 family trip。因为路不会太难走，长辈也比较容易逛。不过如果是雨季来，我就不太建议了❌，因为海边风会蛮大，对一些长辈来说会比较不适合。

门票的话不会特别贵。推荐大家可以直接在 Trip.com 上订一日游套餐，非常划算！我也建议大家穿拖鞋或舒服的鞋，因为有些地方会湿湿滑滑。

3️⃣ 乌布梯田 Tegalalang Rice Terrace

如果你在 IG 看过那种很梦幻的巴厘岛梯田照，十个有八个应该都是这里 😂 这里其实不只是拍照景点，它是真的还有人在种稻米的。现场会看到很大片的绿色梯田，而且不同时间来颜色会不一样，有时候偏翠绿，有时候偏金黄。

但我要讲一个东西：有些拍照点其实会额外收费，而且会有人一直问你要不要拍，所以如果你不是很爱拍照，其实不用每个都玩✅。这里天气会比海边凉一点，建议早上来哦。因为中午真的很晒，而且人会越来越多。

4️⃣ 巴厘岛天空之门 Lempuyang Temple

天空之门

这个就是天空之门 😂！几乎已经变成巴厘岛代表景点之一。很多人以为地上的倒影是真的，其实大部分是工作人员用镜子帮你拍出来的。第一次知道的时候我真的有点震惊 hahaha。不过老实讲，现场其实还是很美🏞️。尤其天气好的时候，后面还能看到火山，整个画面真的很壮观。但这里有一个重点：排队可能会很久。真的很久😭。所以其实很多人凌晨就出发，因为从乌布过去车程也不短。那如果太晚来，可能拍一张照片都要等 1–3 小时。还有一点要提醒的是⚠️：这里是宗教场所，所以穿着不能太暴露。

5️⃣ 努沙佩尼达 Nusa Penida

这个是我觉得现实比照片更震撼的地方。它其实是巴厘岛外海的小岛，需要搭快艇过去。虽然交通没有本岛方便，但风景真的很值得。

尤其 Kelingking Beach，现场看到那个悬崖的时候真的会觉得超不真实 😂 不过有一点要先讲：这里路真的很颠。很多地方坐车会摇到怀疑人生 hahaha。那时我还先吃了晕车药才出发的，所以这里很不建议长辈来哦，因为路上会很不舒服。而且天气会非常晒，所以一定要带水、防晒和帽子。如果你时间不多，其实 day trip 就够。但如果喜欢慢慢玩、浮潜、看海景，可以住一晚。

6️⃣ 圣泉寺 Tirta Empul

聖泉寺

这个地方会让你看到很不一样的巴厘岛。这里不是普通观光景点，它是真的很多当地人会来 “净身祈福” 的寺庙。现场会看到大家排队在圣泉下冲水祈祷，很有当地文化感✨。游客其实也可以体验净身仪式。现场可以租 sarong，也会有人教流程。我觉得它最特别的地方是，它不只是“拍照景点”，而是真的会让人感受到巴厘岛宗教文化。整体氛围很平静很 peace。不过如果只是单纯想拍网美照，可能会觉得这里没那么 flashy。

这个地方超 chill，傍晚来超适合！很多人来这里其实不是为了玩水，而是为了在这里吃海鲜大餐。傍晚的时候，整排海边餐厅会开始摆桌椅。
你可以直接坐在沙滩上一边吹海风、一边看 sunset、一边吃烤海鲜。虽然很多人会说这里太游客区了，但老实讲，第一次来巴厘岛我还是觉得值得体验一次 😂 不过价格会比普通餐厅高一点，尤其是海鲜。建议先问清楚价钱。

8️⃣ Kelingking Beach

精靈沙灘

虽然它在 Nusa Penida，但我觉得值得单独写 😂 因为真的太 iconic 了。这个悬崖从高处看，很像一只恐龙，所以很多人叫它 “T-Rex Cliff”。现场比照片震撼很多。不过很多人不知道的是：“下去海边” 其实超累🫥。楼梯非常陡，而且天气很热。如果平时没运动，真的会走到腿软。所以很多人其实是在上面拍照、看风景就回了。

这个就是巴厘岛的 “仙境大门”。很多人会以为它是神庙，其实它比较像高尔夫 resort 的入口 😂 但因为背景是山和雾，所以拍出来真的很好看。这里天气通常比较凉，而且很常起雾，所以氛围会跟海边完全不同。很多人都是专门来拍一张照就走📸。

如果你喜欢看日出，这个真的很值得。很多人会凌晨两三点起床去爬山，就是为了在火山看日出。虽然听起来很累，但很多去过的人回来都会说：“值得一次🤩。” 爬山难度不算太高，不过还是需要一点体力。通常都会配当地导游一起上山。而且这里有一个很多人不知道的小体验：
有些导游会直接利用火山热气帮你煮蛋 😂 看完日出后，很多人还会顺便去附近泡温泉，超级舒服。

🗺️ 巴厘岛不同 Area 怎么玩？

我第一次去巴厘岛的时候，最 confuse 的东西就是 “为什么大家推荐的地方都不一样？” 😂 一下子有人推荐乌布，一下子又叫你住水明漾，还有人说乌鲁瓦图 sunset 最美。不过巴厘岛其实很大，而且每个 area 的 vibe 真的差很多。有些地方适合天天 cafe hopping，有些地方比较适合 chill chill 旅行，还有些地方就是专门给你看海、放空、看 sunset 的。所以第一次去，我真的很建议不要每天换 area。不然你会花很多时间在塞车 😂（巴厘岛 traffic 真的不是开玩笑）

而且很多 cafe、beach club 都很好拍，所以很多人反而会在当地买衣服。我自己会觉得带 “舒服、轻便、好拍照” 的衣服最实用 🌴

During my stay, the room linens weren't changed promptly (even with daily tips), and I encountered some hygiene issues with them. This was eventually resolved through Ctrip, but it did affect my overall experience. Aside from that, the hotel's service and facilities were good. The 'Lazy River' was a hit with the kids, though it was a bit short. The gym was very clean, and while the equipment was mostly fixed machines, it was sufficient for a regular workout. The restaurant didn't have air conditioning (which is common in Bali, and it wasn't too hot), so there were a lot of flies (also a common Bali phenomenon). There was a wide variety of food, and the rose apples were good, but other fruits were just average. Next time I visit, I'll still choose a hotel in the Nusa Dua area (it's safe, has a good environment, and is convenient for dining, shopping, transportation, and hospitals), but it might not necessarily be the Courtyard.

This is a premium hotel far outside of Ubud center. Be aware you are about 30 minutes from Ubud if you stay here and there really isn't much to do in the immediate area besides stare at the jungle. Staff was outstanding here with frequent greetings by name and remembering you like a Ritz Carlton. Because I enjoy regular outings I actually found the location quite inconvenient as an hour a day would have to be devoted just to getting to and from Ubud. The room I got was enormous and included a dining room, sitting room, bedroom, large bathroom. The in room amenities were great including a free restocking mini bar with snacks (no alcohol) and a large smart TV. The bed was huge, soft, and comfortable. The bathtub was a downside as it was quite small by western standards (not as small as a japanese tub though). I'm not a very big individual at 173cm and I felt it was too narrow and not long enough. Perhaps suitable for petite individuals only. Be aware of that if like me and many Americans you prefer baths over showers. The property is very large and you will likely want to regularly use the phone to request the on site golf cart shuttles to get around it as otherwise you will spend much of your time walking uphill from the rooms to the amenities near the entrance like the restaurant and pool.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental Bali Resort and found the resort’s layout, grounds, and facilities to be excellent. The property is beautifully maintained and provides a pleasant and relaxing environment for guests. Unfortunately, my overall experience was significantly affected by an issue I encountered on the second night of my stay. I was unable to sleep due to a strong and unpleasant smell coming from the pillows and bedding. The odor was similar to that of a room that had been left unused for an extended period. At approximately 3:40 a.m., I contacted the hotel for assistance. While the staff responded promptly and replaced the pillows, I was informed that the smell was “normal,” which I found disappointing and concerning. The following day, I reported the matter to the receptionist, who kindly apologized for the inconvenience. Regrettably, after this experience, I developed a severe cold and fever, which negatively affected the remainder of my stay. While I appreciate the apology and acknowledge the many positive aspects of the resort, I believe greater attention should be given to room freshness, bedding quality, and the handling of guest concerns, particularly when they impact a guest’s comfort and well-being. I hope this feedback will be taken constructively and help improve the experience for future guests.

The hotel is located on a hill, quite high up, so you definitely need a car to get around. There's one road that's in terrible condition – avoid it at all costs. The hotel is a bit older, so the rooms aren't brand new, but they are comfortable enough. The bathroom is as spacious as the bedroom, which is great. Breakfast was plentiful but not particularly tasty (a common issue in Bali). I bought a voucher for 800 RMB including breakfast for two during a promotion, and using it in June made it a really good deal. However, if it were 1000 RMB per night, I think there would be better options available.

Our stay at the Visesa resort was excellent. It is located a couple of Km north of Ubud in a very serene and well maintained environment. We had a jungle room, which was a short walk from the restaurants and pool. The room was well-equipped and made up very quickly and efficiently each day. The only problem we encountered was the damp smell, which was caused by the air conditioning system. We were offered a choice of other rooms to move to, but all had the same issue to some extent; we selected the least worst! Even after cleaning the aircon filters, the problem persisted. The quality of the food in the restaurants was excellent. Breakfast consists of a comprehensive buffet of western, oriental ans Indian foods, so there is a wide choice for every palate, including veggie and vegan. Lunch and dinner can be selected from varied menus. The staff are the resort's best asset - every one of them was so polite and eager to do everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The bottom line is that you will have a fantastic stay!

Pleasant experience with this hotel but never stay long enough to give valuable feedback. However, from check-in to check-out, it was a seamless experience. Staffs are very nice. Upon entering the room, the taps, shower head, and toilet flush are very rusty & mouldy.. We requested for a change but water output was not better.. It was splashing in all directions, making washing up not a very pleasant experience. But you pay for what you get which was reasonable as long as water is clean.

Overall, it's a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a wide range of facilities and relaxing sea views, and aren't overly particular about the newest amenities.

Really nice hotel, excellent value. I was only there for 1 night, but wish it was longer. Great location nearby the airport and plenty around the local area. Room was very spacious and well equipped. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and found no drawbacks during that time. Our room was far from the pool with a beautiful garden view, so it was quite quiet. In the mornings, we could hear staff starting their work from outside. The bathroom was large. The room was clean, but there were small stains on the bed linen. There are 2 pools nearby, one of which is 2m deep. Noisy groups tend to gather at the poolside bar, which dampens the relaxing atmosphere. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach. I recommend this hotel if you're staying for no longer than 5 days.

We stayed at D’prima Hotel Seminyak for 3 nights during a shopping-focused trip, and the location was exactly what we needed — right in the center of Seminyak with easy access to shops, cafes, and everything within walking distance. The room was spacious with a very large, comfortable bed, which made it easy to relax after long days out. The hotel is not new and you can notice this in details like the bathroom fixtures and some general wear, but everything was clean and overall comfortable. The room was too humid, probably due to the air conditioning, making both the floor and bedding damp. I had to ask for towels to lay on the floor and a new comforter. The soundproofing isn't great, but it was fine for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good, with plenty of eggs. It's a 10-minute drive from the airport and they offer a shuttle service. There's a small supermarket, massage, and currency exchange right next to the hotel, which is much better than the airport's, so that was convenient. There's a pool, a large lawn, and it's close to the beach, though the beach itself was a bit dirty and messy. You can watch planes land from the beach. I booked an airport transfer for the next morning and confirmed it twice, being told it was all set. However, when I went down early to wait for the car, it wasn't there. Luckily, I went down early enough that the front desk was able to call a temporary ride.

For my second hotel in Bali, I chose the Element by Westin Ubud. Given that Bali is famous for its rainforests in addition to its beaches, and Ubud is the heart of terraced rice paddies, rainforests, and traditional architecture, I opted for a hotel there. However, I won't be staying at this property again. **Service:** The staff are mostly young and energetic, with good attitudes. However, my overall experience was just mediocre, mainly due to two issues: 1. During check-in, they recommended a Chinese New Year's Eve dinner. I paid by topping up an account, but then they told me they had no change. It took several phone calls the night before departure to finally get my change back. 2. The Chinese dinner itself was also a letdown. The food selection was limited and even less extensive than the breakfast. Plus, drinks had to be purchased separately. For a buffet at this price point, it was quite unacceptable. **Location:** The hotel is quite secluded, about a 40-minute walk from the heart of Ubud. Taking a taxi takes roughly the same amount of time due to heavy traffic. The surroundings are very isolated, so I wouldn't recommend it. It's a 20-minute drive to the rice terraces. **Facilities:** 1. I initially booked a pool access room based on pictures, expecting it to be right outside my door. However, upon arrival, I discovered a significant gap: the room was on the same floor as the pool, but I still had to walk a fair distance to reach it. The photos were misleading. 2. The bathroom lacked body lotion and a weighing scale. For a five-star hotel, this felt a bit underwhelming and not quite up to par. 3. Furthermore, some rooms had issues with their sinks, indicating a lack of proper maintenance.

Let's start with the positives: this hotel boasts a fantastic pool with sea views and stunning sunsets. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. Breakfasts are good, and the coffee is tasty. And that's pretty much where the good stuff ends. Now for the negatives: the rooms are very old and in desperate need of renovation. They're also dirty, with stains everywhere. There are no balconies, and the windows don't open. Nothing dries in the room, and due to poor ventilation, clothes actually get damp overnight. The soundproofing is terrible; you can hear everyone yelling in the hallway. The air conditioning units hum very loudly; our first night was awful because, in addition to the humming, there was also vibration – it was impossible to sleep. Even though we requested a quiet room, we were told it *was* quiet. They did change our room to a junior suite, which was clean and well-renovated. The AC unit still hummed in that one, but it was less noticeable due to the room's larger size. Toothbrushes, cotton swabs, and shower caps are only provided once upon check-in and are not replaced. If you're looking for a European feel rather than something akin to Anapa, do not choose this hotel. Most guests here are Russians on tour packages. I would only recommend this hotel for a one or two-night stay before a flight.

The beach is also beautiful. In the evening, when the tide went out, we took the kids crab hunting, and they had so many wonderful memories! The only slight drawback was the breakfast flow; for such a large number of rooms, the breakfast area felt a bit small, which was a shame. This is the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. I'd give it 6 stars, it's absolutely gorgeous and amazing everywhere! There are plenty of places to walk around, and you can use the bus to get between the cafes, the beach, and other parts of the hotel complex. The only downsides were that swimming in the sea wasn't allowed, and there was a lot of Asian food at breakfast. The desserts were a bit underwhelming, or maybe I just didn't find the good ones. We ended up having breakfast at Dava, near the villa residence, where they have fantastic à la carte breakfasts. It cost roughly the same as the main breakfast areas, but there were no crowds and everything was served by a waiter.

The sunset was absolutely stunning! I spent nearly two hours mesmerized by it at the private beach's sunset bar. The live music was so relaxing, making it the perfect spot to simply unwind and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. They offered a complimentary shuttle service, taking me wherever I wanted to go and picking me up afterwards. As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit apprehensive since I didn't encounter any other Japanese guests. However, when the popular local warung (eatery) I wanted to visit was closed, they kindly took me back the next day. Also, when the hotel spa was fully booked and I mentioned wanting to try a local spa, they drove me there with the shuttle and even offered to take me to another place if it was also full. The breakfast area was lovely; I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the second floor early in the morning. Even the staff at the local beachside eateries were friendly, making it a very comfortable place to be. Although I didn't go on the dolphin tour or visit the nearby waterfalls, I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxed and wonderfully hospitable experience.

I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

We booked a king room with lagoon access and was upgraded to a suite (Thank you Andaz, was a lovely surprise). We had a beautiful, clean and spacious room with a massive patio that backed onto a lagoon connected to the main pool with a sea view. It felt like paradise. There were toads croaking after the rain. We saw cockatoos and many other kinds of bird. Bird sang every morning. We even a monitor lizard swimming in the spa’s lily pond. This place is bathed in nature. Service was friendly and warm from top notch staff. The turndown service every evening was a special touch, and the grounds were immaculately kept! There were almost always staff working away to keep the grounds pristine and lush. We really like the hotel’s layout where it seems (to us) that all rooms provide a good level of privacy and some kind of a view, be it lush beautiful gardens, pool or the beach. Lastly, the à la carte unlimited breakfast was what brought us here (from the flip flop traveller, iykyk) and it did not disappoint. What an amazing treat! Andaz Bali is truly a gem.

Fajar, the front desk attendant, was incredibly warm and attentive! Not only did he give me a tour of the hotel facilities upon check-in, but he also gave me a traditional Indonesian bracelet! (I was super touched!!! 🥹) I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Bali. The pool is huge, there's a gym and a spa, and you can even join in the hotel's scheduled hand-weaving hat activities. It's truly perfect for a vacation. A big thank you again to Fajar; you helped us create unforgettable and wonderful memories. I'm sure we'll meet again!

The hotel environment is comfortable, and the air conditioning in the rooms works really well. All the rooms are arranged around the pool, creating a beautiful view. The staff are very enthusiastic; we even got watermelon popsicles when we checked in. The cleaning staff were very attentive and tidied up my personal belongings carefully.

The wifi was terrible in our room. And I couldn’t hold any zoom calls. Had asked for help segeral times, it would work then just stop working again. The gym was closed at like 7pm which makes no sense. The whole hotel needs to be refreshed and does not look relevant or kept up the breakfast was decent The staff were very nice and helped as much as they could.

Mandapa is nestled in the Ubud forest, surrounded by rainforest and built into the mountainside. It's a secluded sanctuary, perfect for cleansing the soul and allowing me to slowly and peacefully savor every day of my vacation. I was particularly impressed with their butler service. During my three-day, two-night stay, everything was meticulously planned for me, from the transfer service to and from the hotel in Jimbaran Bay, to my river adventure, spa appointments, scheduled photography session, and dinner reservations. My butler orchestrated everything, acting like a personal secretary. Furthermore, most of the hotel's restaurants are outdoors, allowing guests to dine amidst the forest. Surprisingly, the environmental hygiene and insect control were excellent, which I truly appreciated. The villa's cleanliness was also ideal; I didn't spot a single spiderweb, ant, small spider, or any other insect or dust mite within the 430-square-meter villa. The hygiene was superb. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt incredibly serene and relaxing, making it perfectly suited for couples to enjoy a slow-paced, leisurely trip. Regarding the food, I tried breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner at three of their restaurants. The dining atmosphere and food quality were consistently excellent. The spa lived up to the standards of a 6-star hotel! Given its Michelin 3-star status, the hotel truly meets that benchmark. One minor thing to note is that during dinner at one of their Indonesian restaurants, there's a traditional Indonesian dance performance where performers wear a deity mask. This might make some guests, especially those with young children, feel uncomfortable or even frightened. This is something to be aware of.

Hotel was nice and cleaned. Room was good. We had Pool and Garden view. Toilet was small. and the water not coming with the full pressure. Bedsheets, Towel and quilt cover was Dirty, we had to call someone at night to change it. AC was not working well. we had to call someone to fix that. even after that it was not working well. Staff was friendly and cooperative.

Exceptional Stay in The Crystal Luxury bay resort! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way! The hotel's photos don't do it justice - the lobby, staff greetings, and overall ambiance are truly impressive. The staff members are remarkably friendly, polite, and attentive, providing top-notch service that makes you feel valued. The hotel's bay view is breathtaking, offering a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa - incredibly affordable and absolutely divine! I highly recommend treating yourself to a session (or two!). Considering the exceptional quality and service, I believe this hotel is significantly underpriced. I would return in a heartbeat if I ever visit Bali again. If you're looking for a fantastic stay, look no further! 5/5 stars

My husband, our 8-year-old child, and I stayed in a family room. Overall, I liked the hotel's location, interior design, and room size. However, there were some drawbacks that could easily be fixed with minimal investment. First, the lighting is very poor. Please install at least one lamp so that one can apply makeup properly. Second, please buy some kind of bucket or vase for flowers. The bouquet my friend gave me withered the next day due to the lack of a vase, which was a real shame. We checked in on my birthday, and usually, hotels acknowledge this somehow. Here, there wasn't even a verbal congratulations, not that I was very upset about it, but it did leave a slight impression. And the most unpleasant incident was the flooding in both showers the very first time we used them; some film in the drains hadn't been removed, and there were no apologies for the inconvenience afterward either. I'd like to specially mention a wonderful guy at the reception named Dimas. He's so pleasant and smiling, always ready to help with everything. Do I recommend this hotel to other users? Absolutely, yes. And I recommend the management work on correcting these issues.

Stayed for 4 days. There were small ants, but that's pretty much everywhere, I guess. There's a kettle and a fridge. Housekeeping every day! There are minor issues, but for this price, I personally think it's more than decent. Oh, and the food downstairs is so-so. But again, for the money, the hotel is totally fine!
