An older hotel with facilities that show their age. It's divided into two buildings; I stayed in the South Wing this time. The room was spacious and clean. They provided two bottles of water daily. The only minor drawback was the fixed showerhead in the bathroom, which I found a bit inconvenient. The hotel's spa massage service was excellent as well. The towels were very clean, and it was great to go straight back to my room to relax after the massage.

This is a repeated stayed and I stayed for 8 nights. The room price is good value that why I chose here. Staffs are polite n helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Car parking service is available if you drive. The hotel provide shuttle service from 8am to 8pm at every 30 minutes to bts station or you can walk 7 minutes to station if your miss it. Nearby has a famous mango sticky rice shop you should try it at sukhumvit soi 53. There is another one called Ning’s Mango stand @Food Street Soi 38 which is opp the famous mango shop. Both equally good so try both. Highly recommended for this hotel and I will definitely come back.

The only issue with this hotel was the slow Wi-Fi. If you're staying here, you might need an unlimited data plan. The entire hotel staff was incredibly proactive and attentive, and they could communicate in basic Chinese. We checked in around 3 or 4 AM, and all our check-in documents were already prepared for us, making the process very efficient. The lobby can help receive food deliveries and packages, and collection is also very meticulous and convenient. The room space was ample. Although the facilities were visibly a bit dated, they were very well-maintained. There were quite a few mirrors, and when my friend expressed some concern about the room's decor, they promptly helped us adjust it. The bathroom had a slight odor, but it was within an acceptable range. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs from the hotel, and the location is very close to both the BTS and the Airport Rail Link, making it very convenient to get to the city center.

Great location, very close to the BTS Skytrain. You can easily walk to the Erawan Shrine and Central World. The hygiene was well-maintained, and the service was excellent. Facilities are comprehensive, with a pool and gym, though they are a bit small. The rooms, however, are quite spacious. The welcome drink was a thoughtful touch. The hotel has a distinct medieval gallery style, and the theme really stands out. The room was very quiet, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The staff were very warm and attentive.

I had a wonderful stay at Renaissance Bangkok Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to BTS Chidlom and nearby shopping malls. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout my stay. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service exceeded my expectations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel's facilities, including the gym and swimming pool, were well maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Renaissance Bangkok Hotel to both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Bangkok.

The room was very spacious. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The hotel is a bit old, but the room has been newly renovated. Service: Since the three-bedroom suite wasn't available for extension, I rebooked this room. After checking out of the original room, we stored our luggage at the front desk and went out. When we returned, the front desk had already processed the check-in for the new room. As soon as we got to the room and put our luggage down, the staff delivered the luggage we had stored at the front desk.

The hotel is located in the Sukhumvit area. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. During my first stay, the room was nice and well equipped with everything I needed, including large bottles of shampoo and body wash, a hair dryer, a kettle, tea and coffee, a wardrobe, and a small working area. However, my experience during my second stay was not quite as good. There was a small hole in the door, which made me feel a little uncomfortable, although it was not possible to see through it from outside. The sink was also clogged. The staff were very helpful and immediately sent someone to fix it. When it could not be repaired, they kindly upgraded me to a family room. Despite the issues with the room, I was very impressed with how the staff handled the situation and took care of me. The location is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven and several restaurants nearby. I would stay here again if I needed to attend a meeting in this area. The only downside is that the surrounding area can feel a little unsafe or uncomfortable when walking alone at night.

I booked two executive rooms at the Mandarin Hotel for a family trip, and it was honestly better than expected. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and packed with great amenities.. having complimentary coffee and daily room refills was a huge plus! The breakfast was fantastic, with a fresh and wide variety every morning. The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Location-wise, it's perfect: right across the street from Samyan and close to Chinatown, Lumpini Park, MBK, and ICONSIAM. I will definitely stay at the Mandarin Hotel again on my next visit to Bangkok! A special thanks to the staff and the maid teams; you guys are super nice! 😊

The hotel looks nice from the outside, and the staff were polite. However, the room felt a bit dated and could benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment. The pillow had a slight odor, and a few facilities in the room were showing signs of wear, such as the soap holder, bidet spray, and toilet seat. The bathroom could also use more attention to detail, as I noticed some spider webs. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel appears to be popular with China groups, and the lobby was often quite busy. At times, some guests were lying down in the lobby area, which made the atmosphere feel an uncomfortable.

Plus, there's a shuttle service that takes you near the subway station. The overall environment was very clean. Next time I'm in Bangkok, Thailand, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel, though small, is fully equipped, and coupled with its affordable price, it's truly commendable. The front desk staff are efficient and go out of their way to meet guests' needs – a definite shout-out to them, excellent service! Just a friendly heads-up: rooms only provide towels and bath towels, no slippers or toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own (there's a 7-Eleven downstairs if you need to buy some). Overall, the stay was great, but my only dissatisfaction was with the management of the hotel's tuk-tuk service by the concierge. I hope this serves as a warning to future guests. The picture shows the tuk-tuk usage rules. The driver is a young man from the concierge desk. I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk/concierge, and he confirmed that the tuk-tuk departs on the hour every hour. For the return trip, you just call, and it will pick you up at a designated spot (between 8 AM and 6 PM). So, I went out to retrieve my luggage (which I had stored elsewhere), and seeing that it was almost on the hour, I called and requested the tuk-tuk, explaining I was at Starbucks. The person who answered (it was a female, presumably from the front desk) said, ”Okay, just wait.” After waiting for a while with no tuk-tuk, I called again. I was told that since it was on the hour, they needed to prioritize guests departing the hotel, dropping them off first before picking me up (which I understood, so I continued to wait). A few more minutes passed, and still no tuk-tuk. I called a third time to ask if the tuk-tuk had left. The answer I got was astonishing: ”Since no guests are leaving the hotel by tuk-tuk, you'll have to walk back yourself.” I was dumbfounded at that moment… If I hadn't called again, would I have been waiting forever? If you're not sending a vehicle, shouldn't you notify me immediately? (Knowing a guest is waiting for the tuk-tuk to return to the hotel, and just leaving them stranded like that?) Setting aside the impoliteness of that phrasing… is it polite? Based on this operation, am I to understand that the tuk-tuk rule is ”drop-offs only, no pick-ups”? If so, why not just write ”drop-offs only”? No one would blame you then… So, I had no choice but to walk back to the hotel, pushing my luggage and carrying my backpack… (When I got back to the lobby, I saw the young man who drives the tuk-tuk just standing idle at the concierge desk…) I even sent an email afterward to clarify the rules, but it fell on deaf ears. I never received a reply, even after I returned home! Laughable! For the next two days, I only dared to ask for a ride to the BTS station, not even dreaming of a pick-up. I can understand that hotel staff might think, ”It's not that far, you can just walk,” but this is confusing concepts. If you don't offer a service, no one will complain. But since you explicitly advertise this service, why isn't it functioning? Furthermore, based on the current stated rules, it seems no one thinks this is an error? Maybe I'm mistaken, and it truly is a ”drop-offs only” rule! As an established chain, I hope Ibis will properly train its staff on service awareness and amend the incorrect wording of the tuk-tuk usage rules! This should be a bonus service, so why isn't it being fully utilized? Why is it hindering the experience instead? If this service is as good as useless, consider abandoning it. I hope your hotel continues to improve.

The room was great, very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. The air conditioning was also quite strong. However, the bath towels didn't seem to dry overnight when hung in the room. My only slight concern was that the hotel is located deep in an alley, which is a bit dark. A woman walking alone might feel a little scared. On the bright side, there's a night market and a 7-Eleven right at the alley's entrance, which is very convenient, though the main street outside can get quite congested at night.

If youre looking for a sleek, ultra modern 5 star resort, this may not be for you. But if you want authentic Thai hospitality, traditional Thai-inspired architecture, lush tropical surroundings, and a peaceful beachfront escape, this resort is absolutely worth it. I stayed here as a solo traveler and had one of the most relaxing stays Ive experienced. Its also perfect for couples, honeymooners, and families. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view hillside cottage even though I booked one of the more affordable room categories. The private beach was the main reason I chose this resort and it was exactly what I was looking for, quiet, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. I also loved the petting zoo, the beautiful pool, and the delicious food. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Chuty and Ms. Kat at the front desk for making our stay even more memorable. They assisted us during checkout, kindly reminded us about a few belongings we had accidentally left in the room without ever making us feel rushed, and even allowed us to extend our stay until 12:30 PM, which we truly appreciated. Since our flight was later in the afternoon, they also arranged lounge access so we could comfortably wait in an airconditioned area until it was time to leave. Their kindness and thoughtfulness really reflected the genuine hospitality of the resort. I also appreciated the complimentary refreshments in the lobby, the beach bag provided for guests, the convenient buggy service, and the fact that ordering GrabFood was easy. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the TVs to Smart TVs. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. This resort may not be the newest, but it’s clean, wellmaintained, peaceful, and full of character. If you appreciate nature, privacy, and heartfelt service over ultra modern luxury, you’ll absolutely love staying here. Thank you Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa for making my birth truly a special and memorable. ♥️

We booked two Deluxe Rooms (two queen-size beds, with balcony) in February, and in June, we found out the water park was under renovation. We were told there would be extra pools, slides, trampolines, etc., for kids. I had booked for two days before our flight to be closer to the airport, so I didn't cancel the reservation. Plus, I wanted to see the planes take off and land. What I didn't like: The closed water park, constant renovations, fences everywhere, and the noise of drills. The additional facilities for kids didn't compensate for why we booked it in the first place for our 12 and 13-year-olds; they wanted a water park, not an inflatable trampoline for toddlers. The beach was dirty; at least they could have cleaned the trash from the hotel's section of the shore. In the balcony room, it was unbearable to sleep because the balcony door didn't close tightly. Consequently, the noise from the planes taking off made it impossible to sleep, even on the 7th floor of building 9. MINUS: The climate control panel was by the door. In another hotel we stayed at before this one, it was by the bed, so at night, I could turn the AC and lights on and off by feel. PLUSES: Because the water park was closed, upon our request, they upgraded our room category and gave us a large room in building 1. So, we spent our second night there as a family. It had two AC units and a lot of space. The breakfast was good, with plenty of variety! The area was CLEAN and well-maintained, but it didn't have that 'wow' factor. You can't swim at the beach. You have to walk about 2 km towards the 'coral graveyard,' where you can snorkel and see fish, but bottles and trash will accompany you the whole way. Overall, this hotel didn't impress us. Its main advantage is being 20 minutes from the airport.

Would like to sincerely thank The Nature Phuket for giving us such a wonderful and memorable experience during our stay, even though it was only for one night in Phuket. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere and vibes of the hotel were absolutely amazing, and every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and accommodating. A special shoutout to the team for successfully fulfilling our requests, especially the last-minute birthday surprise for my friend. I had forgotten to inform them earlier, but after confirming her birthday through her passport, they thoughtfully managed to prepare a sweet surprise for her on the very same day. We were truly touched by the effort and sincerity shown by the team. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, from the excellent service to the fun time we had enjoying the swimming pool together. Thank you once again for making our trip extra special — it was definitely an unforgettable experience for all of us!

The resort has 2 pools, and most rooms are pool-access. The price before Chinese New Year was 440 a night, which is decent value for money. It's very close to Rawai Beach, with a 7-Eleven and sea-view restaurants right outside. Now for the downsides: 1. No clothes rack in the room, so no way to wash and dry clothes. 2. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. 3. For a family of three, there's an extra charge of 150 THB for the child, but no extra bed is provided. 4. I subtly got the feeling that Chinese guests aren't particularly welcome. This is just my personal feeling and for reference only.

I was extremely satisfied with this trip. I chose the Orchid Hotel because of its location and the big waterslide, though my expectations weren't very high initially. I'd seen some reviews mentioning the hotel being damp and moldy, but I figured that for the 300-400 baht price point, it would be acceptable. I requested a high-floor, sunny room on Trip.com. I booked two rooms, and since our flight arrived late, we didn't get to the hotel until midnight. The two rooms were in different buildings, quite far apart. At first, I wasn't happy and considered asking to switch to closer rooms the next day. However, the hotel upgraded one of my standard rooms to a pool-view room, directly facing the big waterslide. My child loved it and didn't want to move, so we just made do. I stayed on the third floor of building 1. While the room wasn't brand new, it wasn't as old or damp as some reviews suggested. When I entered, the air conditioning was on. I'm not sure if it was because I'd noted my concern about dampness causing my child to get a rash, but the hotel clearly made an effort regarding customer satisfaction. As for people saying the breakfast wasn't good or that there weren't many Chinese people, I think that's subjective. My whole family found the food quite acceptable; it was typical buffet fare. The small restaurant next door was convenient for lunch and dinner. The location was great, only a few hundred meters' walk from Karon Beach. The kids had an absolute blast on the pool slide, and my two-year-old even learned to swim in the shallow pool! A truly commendable point is that it was my eldest son's birthday on the 22nd. Without any prior notification from me, the hotel decorated our room for his birthday. We were out at sea all day, and when we returned to the room that evening, we found it meticulously cleaned. The hotel had fashioned adorable little elephants from towels, adorned with fresh flowers, and left a birthday card. Both the kids and adults were amazed! My son was overjoyed. It was his first tenth birthday, and his first time receiving birthday wishes from a hotel. I have to say, for a seaside hotel in Phuket, an old establishment like the Orchid, at such a great value, making this kind of effort – I am extremely satisfied. If I ever go to Phuket again, I will definitely stay here. This is not a paid review; it's a completely genuine and objective assessment, for your reference.

This resort is located in Rawai, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking to stay away from the chaos of Patong. We booked a room with direct pool access, and it was absolutely worth it, especially in Thailand’s warm weather. We also really enjoyed the fresh coconut juice and mango sticky rice from the small kiosk just outside the hotel. It’s very convenient, with a convenience store nearby as well perfect for quick snacks. The beach area has a lovely atmosphere, especially the chairs under the trees, which make for a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the view. However, swimming isn’t ideal as the water is a bit murky. It also seemed like some drainage from nearby resorts flows directly into the sea, which was disappointing.

The hotel's location is quite good; you can walk directly to Karon Beach from the hotel, and it's not far from Kata Night Market, just a few minutes' walk away. Many of the hotel staff can speak Chinese, so communication was mostly hassle-free. Although the rooms have a wooden structure, they are elevated, so even though it's near the sea, there's no feeling of dampness. The breakfast was decent. The 'Red Chopsticks' restaurant at the entrance is also good. Our room package included dinner, though we didn't eat there every day. We had a street-facing room this time, and the noise from motorcycles and tuk-tuks at night was so loud we couldn't sleep. If you're considering this hotel and are sensitive to noise, definitely avoid the street-facing rooms. The common areas are small, and the lobby was hot with no air conditioning. The staff lacked a service-oriented mindset; no one offered to help with luggage, and the restaurant staff were casually chatting amongst themselves. The room decor was a retro nightclub style, which I guess is a matter of personal taste.

Since I didn't book a hotel in advance for Chinese New Year, I decided to book this place as the price for a triple room was quite reasonable. The triple room was actually pretty spacious, and having one bed per person was perfect. Location: Overall, the location isn't super convenient. Luckily, we booked private cars and island hopping tours for both days we stayed. Otherwise, there's really nothing around. This place seems quite convenient for going to Phi Phi Island, though, as there's a pier about a kilometer away. I saw many people returning from there in the afternoon. Patong Beach is about 4-5 kilometers away. Environment: They gave us a room facing the street, and it was incredibly noisy. The sound of motorbikes revving was super loud. I tried asking the front desk to change rooms, but it wasn't possible.
