Great service and a fantastic pool! The breakfast was good; I had lots of watermelon juice, and the jackfruit was already peeled, so I ate a big bowl every time. Excellent value for money, and you can have as much yogurt as you like. Sitting outside for photos was perfect. The bed, duvet, and pillows were all super comfortable, and the air conditioning was great too. There are many night markets nearby, a McDonald's, and lots of shows on the beach. The sunset was amazing!

Spent my birthday here with my love, and it surpassed all our expectations. received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was larger and even had a bathtub. Hard Rock Hotel is undergoing major construction, so it can be quite noisy between 10 am till 6 pm. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the pool and beach area. The hotel is a bit far from the city center,it's about a 30-minute drive to Georgetown.

Facilities: The in-room facilities are a bit old, but there are many great small details. For example, the clothesline in the bathtub, the drying rack on the balcony, and the night light. The air conditioning and fan in the room were super comfortable. Cleanliness: Overall cleanliness was good, but some areas had dust. There was also a large dead cockroach on the balcony. Environment: A very beautiful hotel, the pool and lawn are stunning! Service: The front desk staff were very polite. The staff also helped with luggage. The restaurant staff were also very helpful; knowing we were rushing for our flight, they served our meal quickly.

Stayed at Lone Pine Hotel recently and loved my ground‑floor sea‑facing room. Super clean, comfy, and literally steps from the beach though it is fenced up to demarcate the hotel's grounds. Parking was easy, and the whole area is convenient — hawker stalls, beach bars, and convenience stores all within a short walk. Breakfast buffet was solid too, with a nice mix of local and Western stuff. Great way to start the day. Only complaint? The 3rd party water sports guys clutter the beachfront with equipment, and an excavator on the sand ruins the sea view. There was also an excavator parked on the beach, doing who‑knows‑what, which disrupted the otherwise serene beachfront setting. Despite these external issues, Lone Pine itself delivers a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I would return — hopefully with a clearer sea view next time.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. The check-in process was smooth and fast, which gave us a good first impression. The breakfast staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The food was decent, but it did not meet the standard I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I had requested a simple birthday celebration for my husband before our arrival and even reminded the hotel twice during our stay. Unfortunately, nothing was arranged, which was disappointing and made the special occasion feel overlooked. The room also needed better housekeeping, as cleanliness was below expectations for a hotel of this category. Overall, while the staff at breakfast were outstanding and check-in was efficient, the lack of attention to our special request and the room cleanliness left room for improvement.

My children and I always enjoy staying at this hotel for several reasons: * The swimming pool and waterpark are excellent and very enjoyable. My children especially love that the pool is covered with a large canopy, which provides shade and keeps the area cool even during the hot afternoon. * The parking area is convenient and easily accessible. * The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, making every stay pleasant and hassle-free. * The hotel is located close to many restaurants and eateries, making it very convenient to find food at any time. * The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the menu changes daily, so there’s always something different to enjoy. The room has two bedrooms and one living room. The sofa in the living room can be used as a bed. It can accommodate up to 6 people. The landlord will inform you of the accommodation details by email, and you can call the housekeeper on the same day. She will arrange check-in and parking at the door, and take you to the room to introduce the details. A deposit of 100RM is required for each key and access card. You need to swipe the card to enter the building and enter and exit the beach. The security is very good. The room has complete tableware, and you can cook simple meals. There is also an oven. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. Summer clothes will dry in a short time. There are many hangers, and you should bring your own laundry detergent. There are no extra towels for the swimming pool and beach downstairs. The sand on the beach at the door is slightly rough. It will be finer and less crowded after passing the long embankment to the west. There are basically no shells to pick up on the beach. The night market along the street is very lively, and it is like an empty city during the day.

We received excellent service from Gary from the moment we made our booking. He consistently followed up on our arrival time and even accommodated our request for an early check-in. The unit we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, with powerful air conditioning, ceiling fans, excellent shower water pressure, and even a sheet provided for the sofa bed. There was also a covered parking space and direct access to the beach, where a fire show is performed in the evening. Thank you once again for your outstanding hospitality, Gary!

My biggest regret about staying at this B&B was only booking one night. I really wish I had stayed longer, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance! The environment here is fantastic. Waking up and drawing back the curtains to see the ocean was pure bliss. It's also very close to Tanjung Rhu Beach, where you can catch a great fireworks show. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, recommending nearby restaurants and beaches, and even sharing some beautiful spots we hadn't discovered ourselves. Staying here felt so free and comfortable, just like being at home. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay. I highly recommend everyone stay for more than just one night – we only stayed a single night and didn't even have time to explore the night market, which was such a shame. I honestly feel like this area is much more enjoyable than George Town city center!

I rented one room out of several buildings (houses), and the facilities were all clean. The other guests were quiet so I was able to use it without any problems, and it was very satisfying as it was reasonable compared to the price.

After room change, the new room have malfunction aircond (long time to cold), toilet door damage and even found 2 wet towel in the cabinet. I understand I took budget hotel, but, come on, this is kot my 1st time use OYO budget hotel. But i should praise the staff there, very calm & professional handling my complain. Location is great as near to town. Only inconvenience is when you need to go to town, you need to drive further down to make a U-turn. The floor inside the unit is dusty. I really don't feel comfortable walking on it. Should put up notes in the unit that housekeeping is not available for those staying 2 nights or more unless we make special request. So that we can ask for drinking water or toilet rolls on our way back to the unit. The swimming pool, guard should enforce stricter rules that only swimming suits are allowed in the pool. T-shirts (even for parents) should not be allowed at all in the pool.

I tried to contact the agency, but there were no staff available, so the only solution offered was a room change. We had to spend extra time moving all our belongings to another floor. One suggestion is to consider waiving the deposit requirement, or for the agent to contact guests one day before check-in to reconfirm the booking and deposit payment. I had already submitted my deposit before check-in, but the agency may have missed my message. I only received the entry QR code after being stopped and questioned by the security guard, which made the experience stressful.

The iron is not even hot enough to iron a simple cloth. Aircond water sometimes suddenly starts dripping and the shower doesn’t even have hot water. Breakfast was okay only to fill your stomach, don’t expect much. Positive point would be the hardworking staff. Overall, for the price, you definitely can get a better place.

Everything was perfect overall. 🤩 This time, we were a little unlucky because the room suddenly had a blackout in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. The next morning, after we called the service counter, the staff came to check and found that an electrical wire had burned out. They kindly offered to let us change rooms several times, but since we were checking out soon, it was fine for us to stay. The staff also apologized sincerely during check-out. Despite this small issue, I would definitely stay here again because the location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions and the highway.👍

We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip. All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable. We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding. A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!). The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special. Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.
