The room itself offers the same space as a deluxe king room. What sets it apart from a standard king room are two additional areas: a sofa right by the entrance, perfect for lounging or sitting to change shoes, and an outdoor space. This outdoor area is a small, open-air courtyard at the back of the room, complete with a sofa and chairs, ideal for enjoying drinks and meals with friends. The courtyard also features a square massage pool, but unfortunately, the water is cold and cannot be heated. It does have a cover, so rain isn't an issue.
The bathroom is quite spacious, but my only disappointment was the lack of a bathtub. Even standard rooms have bathtubs, so it was a bit let down that this suite didn't. The mini-bar fridge is complimentary, offering three cans of drinks: Sprite, Coke, and Coke Zero.
The hotel is undergoing renovations in 2025, so it's not as old as some previous reviews might suggest; everything feels new. The toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, all provided in large pump bottles rather than small, single-use ones, and they have a lovely lemongrass scent. A razor is also provided at the vanity.

I stayed here ten years ago when it was still Le Meridien. I remembered there was a path directly to Universal Studios, so I booked it. Turns out the path has been permanently closed, and you can't enter and exit Universal multiple times anymore 😂.
First, the pros:
1. Convenient location, very close to the Imbiah MRT station.
2. Free bottled water provided, not direct drinking water with unknown filter elements.
3. The pool is beautiful and photo-worthy.
Now, the cons:
1. Proactive service awareness is lacking. I presented my child's passport during check-in, but no children's amenities were offered proactively.
2. I stayed for two nights. On the second day, housekeeping only made the bed and emptied the trash. They even wrapped my compression socks directly into the bedding 😂. The hair left in the bathroom from washing my hair on the first day wasn't cleaned either. No toothbrushes, cotton swabs, or anything were provided.
3. The lighting is dim, which I don't particularly like; it felt eerie at night.
4. The pillows were extremely high. I left a note asking for a flatter pillow, but it wasn't replaced. It was too late, so I just made do. The bed felt so soft it sagged, and I woke up with a backache.
5. I only found out it was a connecting room upon check-in. I could hear coughing from next door in the middle of the night.DariRM926

First, I'd like to give a big shout-out to Manager Jax for the exceptionally warm and welcoming service. My family and I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM. We were given a key card for one room, but were told the other would take another half an hour to an hour. We went out for lunch and returned closer to 3 PM, only to be informed the room still wasn't ready. I was a bit annoyed because it was already past check-in time. Then, a male staff member at the front desk asked me to wait. I sat there for ages, and he didn't come back. When I went to find him, I saw him checking in other guests and giving them key cards. My temper really flared up at that point; I had arrived earlier than them, but was left waiting while later arrivals were checked in first. Later, after finally getting the key card and entering the room, I found the room orientation wasn't great. It definitely didn't feel like a Black Diamond member upgrade, nor did we receive the promised Black Diamond gift, children's amenities, or even water. Frustrated, I went back down to the front desk. That's when I met Manager Jax. She quickly calmed me down, helped arrange everything else, and was incredibly attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The hotel room itself was truly excellent – a large suite, very new and comfortable. The breakfast was a little simple, but the quality was great. The MRT station is a bit of a walk, but still manageable. You can easily go to VivoCity for meals. However, it was really hard to get through to the front desk by phone. We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the Signature Suite for the occasion. The villa was absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, luxurious, and incredibly private. Combined with perfect weather throughout our stay, it made for an idyllic and relaxing escape.
Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. A very special thank you to Fernando, who looked after us so warmly on both mornings. He always made sure our glasses were full, took the time to chat with us, and truly made breakfast feel personal and memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was when the entire breakfast team surprised my wife by singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her day even more special. Every member of staff we encountered also wished her a happy birthday, making her feel celebrated throughout the entire resort. It was these genuine, heartfelt touches that transformed a wonderful stay into one we will cherish forever.
The housekeeping team also deserves special recognition. They were absolutely adorable, attentive, and always greeted us with the warmest smiles. No request was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our villa was perfect.

Starting with check-in, a huge thanks to the front desk staff, Celest, for communicating with us in Chinese. She provided excellent information about transportation on the island and reminded us that hotel guests could enter Universal Studios at 9 AM to start enjoying the Minion Park. Our room on the eighth floor was arranged according to our request, offering a great view and a quiet environment. The room itself was quite spacious, and the mattress had just the right firmness. The only minor issue was that the shower spray was a bit weak. The semi-buffet breakfast restaurant on the ground floor had a pleasant dining atmosphere. Each person could order one set from about six options, including Chinese and Western styles. Overall, the staff were proficient in Chinese, making communication very easy, and they were all very warm and friendly. The swimming pools are all 1.2 meters deep, with no shallower areas. If you have children who can't swim but enjoy playing in the water, you'll need to bring your own swimming aids. The hotel's shuttle bus, a green minibus, runs approximately every ten minutes from the hotel entrance. Upon reaching Resorts World Sentosa, you can then take the monorail to the Beach Station to reach the beach. The in-room aquarium was a great experience and perfect for photos, and my child had a lot of fun. However, there were a few downsides:
The room carpet had a peculiar smell, and the staff weren't very familiar with the parking route, which led to a detour.
Two staff members recommended the full buffet breakfast, citing the wide variety of food. But when we went, it was extremely crowded and required queuing, which felt completely out of sync with the lifestyle of villa guests. The private check-in and separate parking for villa guests are designed to ensure privacy and differentiate them from other guests. Yet, we were directed to the regular buffet area for breakfast. Since there was little information online, we couldn't check beforehand. Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.
Swimming Pool: It's indeed just average. They don't even require swimming caps, and there were leaves at the bottom of the pool. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM.DariRM811

The hotel's environment is truly exceptional. Check-in is on the 8th floor, and the ground floor provides direct access to the restaurant and the beach. Right outside, there's a beach tram shuttle service that takes you to Beach Station MRT in just two stops, or about a 5-10 minute walk. During our stay, there was a beachside barbecue market starting at 2 PM every afternoon, which was when the shuttle service stopped.
We stayed on the 5th floor, and the swimming pool was right outside our door. The kids absolutely loved it! There were also swings and a seesaw, and we even spotted a hammock while walking around.
However, I can't help but mention the ants. There were always tiny ants on the bedsheets, which might be due to the area being so close to nature.DariRM516

Let's start with the environment. While the room facilities aren't brand new, they are generally clean and spacious. The building itself is quite beautiful, with every balcony offering a view. The hotel's internal greenery is lovely, and besides the beach, there's a small lawn perfect for enjoying the sea view, and it's rarely crowded, making for great photos.
However, the hotel service left a lot to be desired. Overall, the attitude was good, but the efficiency was incredibly, incredibly low. I queued for a very long time for check-in; it felt like each person took an average of 20 minutes to complete the process. It's already 2026, and for a brand-name hotel to have such low efficiency is truly shocking. To top it off, check-in and check-out were handled at the same counter. I waited for over 40 minutes, and when it was finally my turn, two people came up for check-out, and the front desk actually asked me to wait. What's more, the service desk wasn't even fully staffed; not all windows were open. This was a very, very poor experience, although there was a nice young man who helped with towels, drinks, and luggage storage.
Speaking of service, I also have to mention that all the middle-aged female staff with Southeast Asian features were chatting and laughing with white guests, their eyes practically squinting with smiles, but they wouldn't even acknowledge or greet Chinese guests, acting as if they didn't see them. This wasn't just one staff member, either. This was a really unpleasant experience. Staff of other genders or regions didn't behave this way.
The beach and sea view were decent, but honestly, there was nothing particularly special about it. In Sanya, you can find plenty of similar views, often closer and cheaper, with food more suited to Chinese palates. They claimed to have a private beach, but it's not entirely private. The entire island coastline, including seafood stalls, is accessible by foot, and people generally don't walk near the hotel's vicinity anyway, as there's not much else to do there.
If you're traveling with children, the sofa can be converted into a small bed, providing a very spacious area. The kids had a great time playing in the water.
As for the food, the variety was rich, but the taste was just so-so, nothing to write home about.DariRM1,194

The room itself offers the same space as a deluxe king room. What sets it apart from a standard king room are two additional areas: a sofa right by the entrance, perfect for lounging or sitting to change shoes, and an outdoor space. This outdoor area is a small, open-air courtyard at the back of the room, complete with a sofa and chairs, ideal for enjoying drinks and meals with friends. The courtyard also features a square massage pool, but unfortunately, the water is cold and cannot be heated. It does have a cover, so rain isn't an issue.
The bathroom is quite spacious, but my only disappointment was the lack of a bathtub. Even standard rooms have bathtubs, so it was a bit let down that this suite didn't. The mini-bar fridge is complimentary, offering three cans of drinks: Sprite, Coke, and Coke Zero.
The hotel is undergoing renovations in 2025, so it's not as old as some previous reviews might suggest; everything feels new. The toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, all provided in large pump bottles rather than small, single-use ones, and they have a lovely lemongrass scent. A razor is also provided at the vanity.

I stayed here ten years ago when it was still Le Meridien. I remembered there was a path directly to Universal Studios, so I booked it. Turns out the path has been permanently closed, and you can't enter and exit Universal multiple times anymore 😂.
First, the pros:
1. Convenient location, very close to the Imbiah MRT station.
2. Free bottled water provided, not direct drinking water with unknown filter elements.
3. The pool is beautiful and photo-worthy.
Now, the cons:
1. Proactive service awareness is lacking. I presented my child's passport during check-in, but no children's amenities were offered proactively.

First, I'd like to give a big shout-out to Manager Jax for the exceptionally warm and welcoming service. My family and I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM. We were given a key card for one room, but were told the other would take another half an hour to an hour. We went out for lunch and returned closer to 3 PM, only to be informed the room still wasn't ready. I was a bit annoyed because it was already past check-in time. Then, a male staff member at the front desk asked me to wait. I sat there for ages, and he didn't come back. When I went to find him, I saw him checking in other guests and giving them key cards. My temper really flared up at that point; I had arrived earlier than them, but was left waiting while later arrivals were checked in first. Later, after finally getting the key card and entering the room, I found the room orientation wasn't great. It definitely didn't feel like a Black Diamond member upgrade, nor did we receive the promised Black Diamond gift, children's amenities, or even water. Frustrated, I went back down to the front desk. That's when I met Manager Jax. She quickly calmed me down, helped arrange everything else, and was incredibly attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The hotel room itself was truly excellent – a large suite, very new and comfortable. The breakfast was a little simple, but the quality was great. Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.
Swimming Pool: It's indeed just average. They don't even require swimming caps, and there were leaves at the bottom of the pool. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM.DariRM811

Let's start with the environment. While the room facilities aren't brand new, they are generally clean and spacious. The building itself is quite beautiful, with every balcony offering a view. The hotel's internal greenery is lovely, and besides the beach, there's a small lawn perfect for enjoying the sea view, and it's rarely crowded, making for great photos.
However, the hotel service left a lot to be desired. Overall, the attitude was good, but the efficiency was incredibly, incredibly low. I queued for a very long time for check-in; it felt like each person took an average of 20 minutes to complete the process. It's already 2026, and for a brand-name hotel to have such low efficiency is truly shocking. To top it off, check-in and check-out were handled at the same counter. I waited for over 40 minutes, and when it was finally my turn, two people came up for check-out, and the front desk actually asked me to wait. What's more, the service desk wasn't even fully staffed; not all windows were open. This was a very, very poor experience, although there was a nice young man who helped with towels, drinks, and luggage storage.
Speaking of service, I also have to mention that all the middle-aged female staff with Southeast Asian features were chatting and laughing with white guests, their eyes practically squinting with smiles, but they wouldn't even acknowledge or greet Chinese guests, acting as if they didn't see them. This wasn't just one staff member, either. This was a really unpleasant experience. Staff of other genders or regions didn't behave this way.
The beach and sea view were decent, but honestly, there was nothing particularly special about it. In Sanya, you can find plenty of similar views, often closer and cheaper, with food more suited to Chinese palates. They claimed to have a private beach, but it's not entirely private. The entire island coastline, including seafood stalls, is accessible by foot, and people generally don't walk near the hotel's vicinity anyway, as there's not much else to do there.
If you're traveling with children, the sofa can be converted into a small bed, providing a very spacious area. The kids had a great time playing in the water.
As for the food, the variety was rich, but the taste was just so-so, nothing to write home about.DariRM1,194

I had a really good stay at Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore, and honestly, the hotel was greater than I expected.
First, let’s talk about the location. It’s located just opposite VivoCity, so everything is really convenient. The MRT station is about a 5-minute walk away, and if you’re looking for breakfast or a quick meal, you can easily walk over to VivoCity. There’s even a linkway connecting the hotel to the mall, which makes getting around so easy, especially after a long day outside.
The lobby is cozy and comfortable, with plenty of seating areas. The staff were also really nice and welcoming. I was especially glad that they kindly offered us an early check-in, which was really helpful.
The room is small, but honestly, it was good enough for two people. The highlight for me was definitely the bed — SO comfortable! I slept really well every night after a long day of walking around Singapore.
I also liked that the bathroom separates the dry and wet areas. And the shower pressure was surprisingly strong! After being out the whole day, having a good hot shower was one of the little things I really enjoyed.
They also provide bottled water, disposable slippers, coffee and tea, as well as some basic necessities tucked away in the drawers, which was convenient.
Overall, I had a really comfortable and pleasant stay here. I especially loved how comfy the bed was — after a long day out, coming back to a comfortable room and a good shower was exactly what I needed. ❤️
