It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth it! The hotel is located in Bugis, just one subway stop from City Hall. There was indeed a queue for breakfast, but it usually only took a few minutes. While breakfast wasn't exceptional, it had all the essentials. One day, my child had an upset stomach, and the hotel chef kindly prepared plain congee, preserved vegetables, and fermented tofu – a bit of a hidden menu item! These thoughtful touches truly made our celebration extra meaningful.
The hotel’s location is also extremely convenient, right in the downtown area. Marina Bay Sands is just a short 5-minute train ride away, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the surrounding attractions.
The Club Lounge offered a wonderful international spread with a good variety of food and beverages. We particularly appreciated the diverse drinks selection, ranging from refreshing wellness drinks to signature cocktails, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Traveling with my 80-year-old mother, I expected Mandarin Oriental to be excellent in every aspect, so I booked 4 consecutive nights. However, the housekeeping service was surprisingly terrible.
1. Turndown service was inconsistent. One night, they came to do turndown service after 10 PM when my mother was already asleep.
2. Toiletries were haphazardly stocked. My mother's room never received a comb, while mine did. I didn't expect another room to be missing items. My mother, not wanting to bother anyone, ended up using her fingers to comb her hair for several days!
3. There were several flies in the hotel lobby; I will upload a picture.
4. The most outrageous part was how old and worn out the towels were – worse than budget hotels. They were no longer fluffy and white; instead, they were tattered, hard as iron. I absolutely loved my stay at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay! The location is fantastic — right in the centre of everything and very convenient for both business and leisure. It is directly connected to Marina Square, with Suntec City and Millenia Walk also within easy walking distance, so finding food, shopping and getting around was incredibly easy.
The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth trying. There was a great variety of choices, and I really enjoyed having so many options each morning. I also tried the room service, and the food was surprisingly good — definitely a great option after a long day.
The room was huge, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful and unique interior. I particularly loved the hotel's design — it has such a distinctive character, with many beautiful details that are definitely worth taking photos of.
The view from the room was also lovely, and having the balcony to enjoy the view was a really nice bonus. It was especially relaxing to come back after a long day, sit back and enjoy the view from the room.
Overall, I had a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Great location, beautiful design, spacious rooms, lovely views and excellent food. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Singapore!DariMXN$ 6,742

I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******.
1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it...
2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault.
Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed.
Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try.
P.S. If you're staying with children and also encounter guests smoking in the hallway, that really makes for a very poor experience, which we also unfortunately did.DariMXN$ 20,275

A small incident occurred during our trip, which truly highlighted the hotel's professional and heartwarming service. We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for our first stop, and then headed to Sentosa for the next part of our itinerary. After checking in at Sentosa and just as we were about to head to Resorts World, my child suddenly realized that their blue backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been left on a sofa in the Fairmont Hotel lobby. The thought of losing all that hard-earned homework instantly panicked my child, and as parents, we were at a loss and quite flustered.
In this critical moment, with assistance from the Sentosa side, Atiq from the Fairmont's concierge team responded swiftly. He carefully verified and confirmed that both the backpack and the summer homework were intact. He efficiently coordinated the inter-hotel transfer, immediately arranging a taxi to deliver the lost bag to our Sentosa hotel as quickly as possible.
From locating the lost backpack, verifying information, coordinating communication, to the actual delivery of the item, the entire cross-location handling process took only thirty minutes. Atiq's exceptional efficiency and calm, professional crisis management left us both surprised and deeply touched.

Laundry facilities in other countries are usually 24/7, so here you have to do your laundry during the day or get up early at 7 AM, which isn't ideal. I have stayed here for almost 3 weeks due to my home renovation. The price is very reasonable as compared to general hotel in Singapore. The best is it has Washer cum dryer which I need it very much as I workout/exercise everyday and I need to wash my laundry everyday. This is the plus point that I choose Coliwoo Midtown which meet my needs. The room size is generally comparable to other Singapore hotels. The room is neat & cozy which I feel very comfortable to leave in. I like their gym too which is convenient to workout whenever you feel like as is open 24 hours. The machines & equipments are good too. It has lot of choice for foods from near by hawkers, coffee shops, shopping centers. And is near few MRT stations too. This is an honest review of Carlton Hotel Singapore, where my mother and I stayed in the second week of August!
I'll summarize what I felt during my stay.
Floor: I requested a high floor when booking, but unfortunately, it wasn't accommodated, and we were assigned the 8th floor. However, the room condition was pleasant, so we didn't experience much inconvenience during our stay.
Bed Type: The room type was an Executive Room. We requested twin beds so my mom and I could sleep comfortably, and they provided a room with two beds, which was perfect. The bedding was fresh, and the mattress was soft, so we slept soundly every night.
Deposit & Cancellation Period: A deposit of $200 (SGD) is authorized upon check-in. Even if you use paid services, they are not deducted from the deposit; you pay for them separately upon check-out. It's been about 3 days since we checked out, and the deposit cancellation hasn't been processed yet, likely because it's an overseas authorization. It usually takes a few days to 1-2 weeks depending on the card company, so it's best to wait patiently.
Bathroom & Amenities: Toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided, and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were well-stocked, which we used comfortably throughout our stay. A hairdryer was also available.
Cleaning & Refill: If you press the 'Please Clean Up' switch in the room, they will clean the room and replenish water, towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes generously every time.
Tip for Bedding Change: If you want to have the bed sheets completely changed, make sure to place the green sign provided in the room on the bed, and they will replace them with fresh bedding.
Upon arriving at night, the magnificent glass chandelier stretching across the lobby ceiling immediately caught my eye. The high ceiling and luxurious feel made a great first impression.
The swimming pool is quite small. However, Singapore's weather is extremely hot and humid, so people were constantly in the water regardless of the time of day. It was sufficient for cooling down and chilling out lightly during the day or evening.
Gym: Across the swimming pool, there's a gym. It was clean and a simple hotel gym, perfect for a light workout.
Breakfast/Hotel Dining: I didn't book breakfast because of the pressure to wake up early to eat breakfast when traveling. Instead of using the hotel's breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffets, we creatively handled our meals with delivery food and restaurants in nearby shopping malls.
Raffles City Shopping Mall: The Raffles City shopping mall right next to the hotel was incredibly convenient! The restaurant and food court options were so good that we often went to Raffles City for our meals during our stay.
Room Service: On the first night, we arrived at the hotel around 10-11 PM and were tired, so we ordered room service. The food tasted really delicious and satisfying, but as expected with Singapore prices, it was quite expensive. The taste is guaranteed, so it might be nice to use it once for a treat!
Location & Transportation: On the map, I thought Merlion Park was within walking distance, but Singapore's August weather was hotter and more humid than I imagined, so walking was definitely not an option.
Instead, there were well-located bus stops near the hotel, and we consistently took buses to major attractions, including Merlion Park. The routes were so well-established that we got around very conveniently. When it's hot, always use public transport!
This was a trip with my mom, and thanks to the nearby shopping mall, meals were convenient. Overall, it was a satisfying hotel stay. I recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located accommodation in the heart of Singapore.DariMXN$ 5,526

Stayed for 1N for staycation - just wish to decompress from work and dont wanna travel out of the country. I choose this hotel on ourpose for the high floor option and the Marina Bay view. Watching Singapore change from day to night was beautiful, and waking up to the morning skyline was just as memorable.
The room was comfortable and the overall hotel experience felt relaxing and special, which was exactly what we wanted from a staycation. Breakfast was enjoyable too, with a pleasant atmosphere and good variety.

I chose this hotel specifically for an event at Singapore Management University (SMU). Its location is excellent, not only being a stone's throw from SMU but also situated at the very spot where Singapore was founded. The surrounding Raffles area was developed in conjunction with it during the early colonial period, with interconnected assets back then. The hotel has been thoughtfully renovated, preserving its historical charm while adding modern comforts. While the public areas are constrained by the building's layout, an indoor commercial space has been cleverly integrated along the eaves of the guest room building, providing an extension for hotel dining. The only downside is that everything closes too early in the evening; by 10 PM, there's nowhere to eat, so you have to venture outside. Guest rooms are also space-limited, but the bathroom facilities are emphasized, with the bathroom space taking up almost half of the room – a clever design touch, no doubt. There was a slight hiccup during our stay: in one of our rooms, the power suddenly went out just before bedtime, rendering the air conditioning and outlets unusable. They couldn't fix it overnight, but thankfully, the hotel provided another room for us to sleep in, and we didn't get to bed until 1:30 AM. It was finally repaired the next day, reportedly with quite a bit of commotion during the repairs. The hotel's response was fairly prompt, and they expressed their apologies. Overall, the hotel's service system is comprehensive, and the staff are well-trained. A middle-aged male staff member who greeted us upon arrival, from the lobby to escorting us to our room, was incredibly proactive. Front Desk: I booked four nights at Fullerton Hotel this time. As I booked quite late, the four days were split into three different reservations with two room types. Upon arrival at the front desk, we were greeted by a friendly lady with short hair and glasses. She was very helpful and actively tried to arrange a single room for us so we wouldn't have to switch, but due to the high occupancy, she couldn't make it happen. She informed us that we'd have to switch rooms after the first two nights, which we understood. A really great gesture was that this lady upgraded our room type for all four days. We had originally booked three nights in a Courtyard Club room and one night in a regular Suite. She managed to get us upgraded to Club rooms with impressive bay views. Especially on the second night, we stayed in a Loft Suite, which was huge and came with a terrace. We could sit on the terrace sofa and enjoy the bay night view and the Marina Bay Sands building. In the evening, the hotel even sent up champagne, chocolates, and fruit, which made my child incredibly happy! A big thank you to this short-haired front desk lady for giving us the opportunity to experience a better room type at the hotel! I won't comment on the other front desk staff; some seemed a bit aloof and haughty, haha!
Dining: The breakfast was comprehensive, with various Chinese, Western, and Indian options. My child particularly loved the laksa noodles and steamed egg custard, while I enjoyed the freshly made omelets. The old chef making the omelets was very versatile, speaking English, Chinese, and Japanese. I chatted with him, and he mentioned he used to be a Japanese chef. The omelets were delicious and could be loaded with many ingredients! Our room type included executive lounge access, but we were out exploring every day and only made it for afternoon tea once!
Room: The cleaning was meticulous, and we had turndown service every night. The bathroom was large, but the toothbrushes shed bristles, so we unfortunately had to buy two new toothbrushes from the 7-11 across the street.
Location: Unbeatable! You can tell from the photos. It's very close to Raffles Place MRT station, Marina Bay is right in front of you, and it's also a historic building. Just across the bridge is the Asian Civilisations Museum, and within walking distance are attractions like Clarke Quay and the Old Hill Street Police Station!
Overall Impression: The hotel had a lot of Western guests, and the service was Westernized, which was generally good! Finally, the hotel bill showed a charge of 26.98 SGD. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't check it carefully at the time. I have to say, this hotel is a real gem! It offers amazing value for money and the location is super convenient for getting around, perfect for a city walk. There's a mall nearby so finding food is a breeze, and it's all delicious – no bad choices here.

Generally was a good experience as I managed to check in early and only waited in the lobby for awhile. Forgot to bring my bank card to be put on hold but it was okay. The room was really small, as all boutique hotels usually are. I saw this body milk and it seemed expired past its prime been many years so I didn’t dare use it. Everything in the mini bar is chargeable. What I didn’t like was that I wasn’t able to change the two breakfast to a dinner instead as I was staying by myself. The place is fantastically located: close to both downtown and bay area. The common areas, showers and restrooms are clean. Breakfast is simple (bread and jam, coffee and tea). For my trip to Singapore, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Atiq, an outstanding staff member at the Fairmont Hotel.
A small incident occurred during our trip, which truly highlighted the hotel's professional and heartwarming service. We stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for our first stop, and then headed to Sentosa for the next part of our itinerary. After checking in at Sentosa and just as we were about to head to Resorts World, my child suddenly realized that their blue backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been left on a sofa in the Fairmont Hotel lobby. The thought of losing all that hard-earned homework instantly panicked my child, and as parents, we were at a loss and quite flustered.
In this critical moment, with assistance from the Sentosa side, Atiq from the Fairmont's concierge team responded swiftly. He carefully verified and confirmed that both the backpack and the summer homework were intact. He efficiently coordinated the inter-hotel transfer, immediately arranging a taxi to deliver the lost bag to our Sentosa hotel as quickly as possible.
From locating the lost backpack, verifying information, coordinating communication, to the actual delivery of the item, the entire cross-location handling process took only thirty minutes. Atiq's exceptional efficiency and calm, professional crisis management left us both surprised and deeply touched.

I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******.
1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it...
2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault.
Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed.
Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try.
P.S. If you're staying with children and also encounter guests smoking in the hallway, that really makes for a very poor experience, which we also unfortunately did.DariMXN$ 20,275

I absolutely loved my stay at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay! The location is fantastic — right in the centre of everything and very convenient for both business and leisure. It is directly connected to Marina Square, with Suntec City and Millenia Walk also within easy walking distance, so finding food, shopping and getting around was incredibly easy.
The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth trying. There was a great variety of choices, and I really enjoyed having so many options each morning. I also tried the room service, and the food was surprisingly good — definitely a great option after a long day.
The room was huge, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful and unique interior. I particularly loved the hotel's design — it has such a distinctive character, with many beautiful details that are definitely worth taking photos of.
The view from the room was also lovely, and having the balcony to enjoy the view was a really nice bonus. It was especially relaxing to come back after a long day, sit back and enjoy the view from the room.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I booked it during Trip.com's 318 Spring Sale. The only minor issue was that when rooms became available, it seemed like they were sold out every other day, which made me wonder if the hotel was doing it on purpose. I ended up having to book an extra night in a standard room through another platform. Thankfully, the hotel was generous enough to let me stay in the same room without having to move. Aside from that, it was almost perfect.
First off, the price was reasonable. In Singapore, where hotels typically cost around S$2,000, finding a place for just over S$1,000 that also offered beautiful surroundings, new facilities, a spacious room, four complimentary bottled water bottles, a toiletries kit, and slippers was truly exceptional. We didn't try the breakfast, though I imagine it's good; the additional cost seemed a bit high, and we couldn't wake up early enough anyway, so we just grabbed a quick bite and headed out to explore.
Getting a taxi was a bit circuitous since it's located on a hill, and walking up was a bit tiring. However, the environment truly is beautiful. The famous '网红树洞' (internet-famous tree cave) had a long queue every morning. Once we got familiar with the layout, we found it quite convenient to walk around the area. The front desk staff, both the English-speaking gentleman and the Chinese-speaking lady, were incredibly friendly. First off, the location is absolutely superb. You can walk to three major MRT stations – Bencoolen, Bras Basah, and Dhoby Ghaut – from downstairs. Secondly, I felt incredibly lucky to book a 2-bedroom, 1-living room serviced apartment in such a prime location. With two bathrooms, it was perfect for four people. There's a pool on the top floor, and the front desk even has staff who speak Chinese. Everyone was really nice. We stayed for six nights, and the room was cleaned for the first five nights.
Thirdly, the only downside was that the fire alarm went off loudly twice around 10 PM, and then again past 3 AM on our last day. All of them were false alarms, which I really don't understand. 1. The transportation is incredibly convenient. You just exit MRT A, go down the stairs, walk back about 50 meters, and you're there. Across the street from the hotel, there's a small food court and a supermarket (items are very cheap, great for buying water and drinks). The nearest Ya Kun Kaya Toast is just one traffic light away, and Fort Canning Park is about a 20-minute walk. Taking the bus to anywhere is also convenient.

Front Desk: I booked four nights at Fullerton Hotel this time. As I booked quite late, the four days were split into three different reservations with two room types. Upon arrival at the front desk, we were greeted by a friendly lady with short hair and glasses. She was very helpful and actively tried to arrange a single room for us so we wouldn't have to switch, but due to the high occupancy, she couldn't make it happen. She informed us that we'd have to switch rooms after the first two nights, which we understood. A really great gesture was that this lady upgraded our room type for all four days. We had originally booked three nights in a Courtyard Club room and one night in a regular Suite. She managed to get us upgraded to Club rooms with impressive bay views. Especially on the second night, we stayed in a Loft Suite, which was huge and came with a terrace. We could sit on the terrace sofa and enjoy the bay night view and the Marina Bay Sands building. In the evening, the hotel even sent up champagne, chocolates, and fruit, which made my child incredibly happy! A big thank you to this short-haired front desk lady for giving us the opportunity to experience a better room type at the hotel! I won't comment on the other front desk staff; some seemed a bit aloof and haughty, haha!
Dining: The breakfast was comprehensive, with various Chinese, Western, and Indian options. My child particularly loved the laksa noodles and steamed egg custard, while I enjoyed the freshly made omelets. The old chef making the omelets was very versatile, speaking English, Chinese, and Japanese. I chatted with him, and he mentioned he used to be a Japanese chef. The omelets were delicious and could be loaded with many ingredients! Our room type included executive lounge access, but we were out exploring every day and only made it for afternoon tea once!
Room: The cleaning was meticulous, and we had turndown service every night. The bathroom was large, but the toothbrushes shed bristles, so we unfortunately had to buy two new toothbrushes from the 7-11 across the street.
Location: Unbeatable! You can tell from the photos. It's very close to Raffles Place MRT station, Marina Bay is right in front of you, and it's also a historic building. Just across the bridge is the Asian Civilisations Museum, and within walking distance are attractions like Clarke Quay and the Old Hill Street Police Station!
Overall Impression: The hotel had a lot of Western guests, and the service was Westernized, which was generally good! Finally, the hotel bill showed a charge of 26.98 SGD. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't check it carefully at the time. I chose this hotel specifically for an event at Singapore Management University (SMU). Its location is excellent, not only being a stone's throw from SMU but also situated at the very spot where Singapore was founded. The surrounding Raffles area was developed in conjunction with it during the early colonial period, with interconnected assets back then. The hotel has been thoughtfully renovated, preserving its historical charm while adding modern comforts. While the public areas are constrained by the building's layout, an indoor commercial space has been cleverly integrated along the eaves of the guest room building, providing an extension for hotel dining. The only downside is that everything closes too early in the evening; by 10 PM, there's nowhere to eat, so you have to venture outside. Guest rooms are also space-limited, but the bathroom facilities are emphasized, with the bathroom space taking up almost half of the room – a clever design touch, no doubt. There was a slight hiccup during our stay: in one of our rooms, the power suddenly went out just before bedtime, rendering the air conditioning and outlets unusable. They couldn't fix it overnight, but thankfully, the hotel provided another room for us to sleep in, and we didn't get to bed until 1:30 AM. It was finally repaired the next day, reportedly with quite a bit of commotion during the repairs. The hotel's response was fairly prompt, and they expressed their apologies. Overall, the hotel's service system is comprehensive, and the staff are well-trained. I absolutely loved my stay at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay! The location is fantastic — right in the centre of everything and very convenient for both business and leisure. It is directly connected to Marina Square, with Suntec City and Millenia Walk also within easy walking distance, so finding food, shopping and getting around was incredibly easy.
The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth trying. There was a great variety of choices, and I really enjoyed having so many options each morning. I also tried the room service, and the food was surprisingly good — definitely a great option after a long day.
The room was huge, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful and unique interior. I particularly loved the hotel's design — it has such a distinctive character, with many beautiful details that are definitely worth taking photos of.
The view from the room was also lovely, and having the balcony to enjoy the view was a really nice bonus. It was especially relaxing to come back after a long day, sit back and enjoy the view from the room.

Front Desk: I booked four nights at Fullerton Hotel this time. As I booked quite late, the four days were split into three different reservations with two room types. Upon arrival at the front desk, we were greeted by a friendly lady with short hair and glasses. She was very helpful and actively tried to arrange a single room for us so we wouldn't have to switch, but due to the high occupancy, she couldn't make it happen. She informed us that we'd have to switch rooms after the first two nights, which we understood. A really great gesture was that this lady upgraded our room type for all four days. We had originally booked three nights in a Courtyard Club room and one night in a regular Suite. She managed to get us upgraded to Club rooms with impressive bay views. Especially on the second night, we stayed in a Loft Suite, which was huge and came with a terrace. We could sit on the terrace sofa and enjoy the bay night view and the Marina Bay Sands building. In the evening, the hotel even sent up champagne, chocolates, and fruit, which made my child incredibly happy! A big thank you to this short-haired front desk lady for giving us the opportunity to experience a better room type at the hotel! I won't comment on the other front desk staff; some seemed a bit aloof and haughty, haha!
Dining: The breakfast was comprehensive, with various Chinese, Western, and Indian options. My child particularly loved the laksa noodles and steamed egg custard, while I enjoyed the freshly made omelets. The old chef making the omelets was very versatile, speaking English, Chinese, and Japanese. I chatted with him, and he mentioned he used to be a Japanese chef. The omelets were delicious and could be loaded with many ingredients! Our room type included executive lounge access, but we were out exploring every day and only made it for afternoon tea once!
Room: The cleaning was meticulous, and we had turndown service every night. The bathroom was large, but the toothbrushes shed bristles, so we unfortunately had to buy two new toothbrushes from the 7-11 across the street.
Location: Unbeatable! You can tell from the photos. It's very close to Raffles Place MRT station, Marina Bay is right in front of you, and it's also a historic building. Just across the bridge is the Asian Civilisations Museum, and within walking distance are attractions like Clarke Quay and the Old Hill Street Police Station!
Overall Impression: The hotel had a lot of Western guests, and the service was Westernized, which was generally good! Finally, the hotel bill showed a charge of 26.98 SGD. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't check it carefully at the time. I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******.
1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it...
2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault.
Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed.
Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try.

After checking in at Sentosa and just as we were about to head to Resorts World, my child suddenly realized that their blue backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been left on a sofa in the Fairmont Hotel lobby. The thought of losing all that hard-earned homework instantly panicked my child, and as parents, we were at a loss and quite flustered.
In this critical moment, with assistance from the Sentosa side, Atiq from the Fairmont's concierge team responded swiftly. He carefully verified and confirmed that both the backpack and the summer homework were intact. He efficiently coordinated the inter-hotel transfer, immediately arranging a taxi to deliver the lost bag to our Sentosa hotel as quickly as possible.
From locating the lost backpack, verifying information, coordinating communication, to the actual delivery of the item, the entire cross-location handling process took only thirty minutes. Atiq's exceptional efficiency and calm, professional crisis management left us both surprised and deeply touched.

My stay at Ascott Raffles Place Singapore was an overall excellent experience and I'd highly recommend it!
First off, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Singapore's financial district. It's just a few minutes' walk to the MRT station, making it super convenient to get to Merlion Park, Marina Bay, and Clarke Quay. Since we were only staying for one day, we had all our meals at the Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, which is just behind the hotel. It's perfect for both business travelers and tourists.

This is an honest review of Carlton Hotel Singapore, where my mother and I stayed in the second week of August!
I'll summarize what I felt during my stay.
Floor: I requested a high floor when booking, but unfortunately, it wasn't accommodated, and we were assigned the 8th floor. However, the room condition was pleasant, so we didn't experience much inconvenience during our stay.
Bed Type: The room type was an Executive Room. We requested twin beds so my mom and I could sleep comfortably, and they provided a room with two beds, which was perfect. The bedding was fresh, and the mattress was soft, so we slept soundly every night.
Deposit & Cancellation Period: A deposit of $200 (SGD) is authorized upon check-in. Even if you use paid services, they are not deducted from the deposit; you pay for them separately upon check-out. It's been about 3 days since we checked out, and the deposit cancellation hasn't been processed yet, likely because it's an overseas authorization. It usually takes a few days to 1-2 weeks depending on the card company, so it's best to wait patiently.
Bathroom & Amenities: Toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided, and shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were well-stocked, which we used comfortably throughout our stay. A hairdryer was also available.
Cleaning & Refill: If you press the 'Please Clean Up' switch in the room, they will clean the room and replenish water, towels, toothpaste, and toothbrushes generously every time.
Tip for Bedding Change: If you want to have the bed sheets completely changed, make sure to place the green sign provided in the room on the bed, and they will replace them with fresh bedding.
Upon arriving at night, the magnificent glass chandelier stretching across the lobby ceiling immediately caught my eye. The high ceiling and luxurious feel made a great first impression.
The swimming pool is quite small. However, Singapore's weather is extremely hot and humid, so people were constantly in the water regardless of the time of day. It was sufficient for cooling down and chilling out lightly during the day or evening.
Gym: Across the swimming pool, there's a gym. It was clean and a simple hotel gym, perfect for a light workout.
Breakfast/Hotel Dining: I didn't book breakfast because of the pressure to wake up early to eat breakfast when traveling. Instead of using the hotel's breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffets, we creatively handled our meals with delivery food and restaurants in nearby shopping malls.
Raffles City Shopping Mall: The Raffles City shopping mall right next to the hotel was incredibly convenient! The restaurant and food court options were so good that we often went to Raffles City for our meals during our stay.
Room Service: On the first night, we arrived at the hotel around 10-11 PM and were tired, so we ordered room service. The food tasted really delicious and satisfying, but as expected with Singapore prices, it was quite expensive. The taste is guaranteed, so it might be nice to use it once for a treat!
Location & Transportation: On the map, I thought Merlion Park was within walking distance, but Singapore's August weather was hotter and more humid than I imagined, so walking was definitely not an option.
Instead, there were well-located bus stops near the hotel, and we consistently took buses to major attractions, including Merlion Park. The routes were so well-established that we got around very conveniently. When it's hot, always use public transport!
This was a trip with my mom, and thanks to the nearby shopping mall, meals were convenient. Overall, it was a satisfying hotel stay. I recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located accommodation in the heart of Singapore.DariMXN$ 5,526

Highly recommend! The room was spacious and the hotel is in a central location, making it easy to walk everywhere. My only complaint is that the laundry room closes too early in the evening. Laundry facilities in other countries are usually 24/7, so here you have to do your laundry during the day or get up early at 7 AM, which isn't ideal. I chose this hotel specifically for an event at Singapore Management University (SMU). Its location is excellent, not only being a stone's throw from SMU but also situated at the very spot where Singapore was founded. The surrounding Raffles area was developed in conjunction with it during the early colonial period, with interconnected assets back then. The hotel has been thoughtfully renovated, preserving its historical charm while adding modern comforts. While the public areas are constrained by the building's layout, an indoor commercial space has been cleverly integrated along the eaves of the guest room building, providing an extension for hotel dining. The only downside is that everything closes too early in the evening; by 10 PM, there's nowhere to eat, so you have to venture outside. Guest rooms are also space-limited, but the bathroom facilities are emphasized, with the bathroom space taking up almost half of the room – a clever design touch, no doubt. There was a slight hiccup during our stay: in one of our rooms, the power suddenly went out just before bedtime, rendering the air conditioning and outlets unusable. They couldn't fix it overnight, but thankfully, the hotel provided another room for us to sleep in, and we didn't get to bed until 1:30 AM. It was finally repaired the next day, reportedly with quite a bit of commotion during the repairs. The hotel's response was fairly prompt, and they expressed their apologies. Overall, the hotel's service system is comprehensive, and the staff are well-trained. A middle-aged male staff member who greeted us upon arrival, from the lobby to escorting us to our room, was incredibly proactive. This was my second time staying at this hotel in Singapore, and I found it quite novel at the time. The silk duvet was incredibly comfortable. However, this hotel has a fatal flaw: it's not a standalone building but rather mixed-use with an office building. We were often woken up in the middle of the night by fire alarms. This was truly unbearable. I wouldn't recommend staying here again. The value for money is very low; the hotel is extremely expensive. Breakfast was also very mediocre. Traveling with my 80-year-old mother, I expected Mandarin Oriental to be excellent in every aspect, so I booked 4 consecutive nights. However, the housekeeping service was surprisingly terrible.
1. Turndown service was inconsistent. One night, they came to do turndown service after 10 PM when my mother was already asleep.
2. Toiletries were haphazardly stocked. My mother's room never received a comb, while mine did. I didn't expect another room to be missing items. My mother, not wanting to bother anyone, ended up using her fingers to comb her hair for several days!
3. There were several flies in the hotel lobby; I will upload a picture.
4. The most outrageous part was how old and worn out the towels were – worse than budget hotels. They were no longer fluffy and white; instead, they were tattered, hard as iron. I appreciate the location and the fact that basic amenities like room slippers and dental kits are provided. You also use an app for check in/out with a digital key provided in the app which is rather convenient.
However, I did not enjoy my stay here. The room is not exactly the cleanest because there were stains on the bedsheets. I don’t think the sheets were replaced before we checked in. Also the walls at this place are EXTREMELY thin. If you are a light sleeper like me, you will not have a good sleep because there will be a lot of noises outside. When I was there the noises started at around 6am and lasted for about an hour which disturbed my sleep greatly.

1. The location is super convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk from City Hall MRT station. It's very close to attractions like Gardens by the Bay (if you're up for a walk, it's about 2.8km, which felt manageable when I walked back to the hotel from the Flower Dome with my kids at night).
2. The hotel facilities are simple, clean, and fresh, with no unpleasant odors. Most importantly, it's very quiet, which is great for a light sleeper like me.
3. The front desk service was excellent. They could communicate in Chinese and even allowed me to check in early; I arrived at 11 AM and was able to check in right away.
4. Kids under 6 eat breakfast for free, making it very family-friendly.
5. There's a pool with both shallow and deep sections, perfect for young children to play in.
