It completely exceeded our expectations!

Harbin Daogongguan 1903 Century Legend Hotel boasts an unbeatable location, within walking distance of Central Avenue and Saint Sophia Cathedral. We booked the Aristocratic Garden Twin Room. The Russian retro decor is exquisite and sophisticated, featuring carved ceilings, solid wood furniture, and an incredible ambiance. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a coffee capsule machine, and the minibar stocked about four drinks—a thoughtful touch. The hotel has preserved a precious century-old vintage elevator; its lattice wooden door is gorgeously retro and full of historical charm, making it a rare and unique feature. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I stayed here with my family during our trip to Harbin to fully immerse ourselves in the old Harbin vibe. Highly recommended!

There is no direct elevator from the underground parking garage to the lobby, so you have to use the wall-mounted phone by the door to call the concierge for assistance. The view is definitely the main selling point—compared to watching the sunset from the riverbank, the bridge, or the cable car, this felt like the ultimate vantage point. The hotel itself feels classic rather than dated. Everything you see and touch, from the artwork and tableware to the furniture and hardware, exudes uncompromising quality. The thoughtful design really shines through in practical, durable details: the layout and dimensions of the three-fixture bathroom, the glass shower door that swings smoothly both ways, and the 2-meter king bed that feels an extra half-pillow wider than standard. That said, the breakfast—including the Horizon Club lounge offerings—leaves a bit of room for improvement; next time, we’d probably prefer heading out for brunch or ordering delivery.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! It's conveniently located near an amusement park and a shopping mall, making it super easy for shopping, entertainment, and dining. The front desk staff were professional and efficient, and they even upgraded our room. It's a pet-friendly hotel with a beautiful back garden and lake views. They offer a free shuttle service, and their family rooms are very popular. The delivery robots were a great touch, making deliveries quick and easy. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in the area!

Traveling to Harbin with my kids, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Harbin Songbei and had an incredibly comfortable experience! The room facilities are very new, and the Premium Twin Room had plenty of space. It was spotless and the environment was beautiful and quiet, allowing us to sleep very soundly. The service deserves five stars; the staff were warm and attentive, taking great care of families with children. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, close to Sunac Land and the Ice and Snow World. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Five-star recommendation, it will be my first choice when I come to Harbin again!

Ever since staying on the 79th floor once, I've developed a bit of an obsession with high-floor views. Of course, I also picked this place because the hotel is relatively new, and I’d never stayed at a Ritz-Carlton before. I booked a City View King Room to stay within my budget. I skipped breakfast thinking I'd check out the local morning market instead, but dinner portions every night were so huge that I never had to worry about going hungry in the morning anyway. The room also came with a capsule coffee machine; although the pod selection wasn't huge, it was plenty enough for me. At check-in, I mentioned that I didn't need full housekeeping during my stay—just taking out the trash and restocking amenities would do. Yet, something was always missed every single time. The craziest part was encountering a missing shower gel for the very first time. On the second day, when I went to the front desk to extend my check-out by two hours and recut my room key, I brought it up directly. Still, by that evening, there was no shower gel. I guess their Diptyque amenities are strictly rationed per day—use more than the quota, and you're on your own. On the other hand, they were surprisingly generous with bottled water, which makes me think different staff members handled different tasks. Also, turndown service only happened on the first night and never again after that. I figured the complimentary bedtime drink was just the local ”Harbin Frozen Pear Drink,” so I didn't bother bringing it up. That said, I really loved the heated towel rack—a huge plus for someone like me who likes hand-washing small laundry items. The dual-layer motorized curtains were great, the lighting controls were user-friendly, and I really liked the overall interior design. At the end of the day, I chose this hotel myself, so it is what it is. Oh, and my check-in date happened to be my birthday, but there were no greetings or recognition at all. Ironically, China Eastern Airlines surprised me with a plush toy and a handwritten card. Truly a ”unique” level of service here.

The room is equipped with a mini-fridge and an iron, making it ideal for business travelers. The subway station is just 200 meters down the slope, making it easy to get anywhere.

This was my first time bringing my child to Harbin, so I specifically chose a hotel near Central Street. It was super convenient to walk to, and there's a popular morning market nearby. The Ice Castle on the river is also close by and looks beautiful at night, with lots of areas inside for kids to explore (pictures 2 & 3). On our second morning, we walked to the Ice Castle and took the cable car to Sun Island! It was perfect! 😍

The subway station is right at the entrance, I doubt there are many hotels in Harbin as convenient as this one. It's easy to get to all the major attractions, and Gorky Street is just 300 meters north for a great city walk. The hotel gave us a free upgrade to a suite, and the breakfast was plentiful. The a la carte and buffet options also offer good value for money. The only downsides were the obstructed window, which meant poor natural light, and the renovation noise that woke us up around 7 AM for the first two days of our stay. We reported it on the first day to no avail, but after reporting it again on the second day, it finally stopped by the third day.

Great location, not far from St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Avenue—about a ten-minute walk—with a large shopping mall right next door. We stayed in the family suite, where the sofa bed was already made up and quite comfortable. The lobby offers afternoon tea, snacks, and drinks every day, which is super convenient; it's so relaxing to grab a drink as soon as you get back. They also serve a late-night snack, and you can ask the front desk to have a delivery robot bring it up to your room. They even gave us complimentary Modern Ice Lollies (Madieer) and local red sausage, both of which were delicious! The service was warm and excellent. There are also a few minor flaws I hope they can improve: the lighting in the room is too dim, and there was a slight sewer smell coming from the toilet. The room layout is a bit odd—we couldn't figure out where the cups were, and at first, we couldn't even find the closet 🥲 Also, it would be even better if they could help with drying clothes~ Overall, definitely recommended~

The hotel service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, and being on a high floor, it offered a wide view with plenty of sunlight. We could even see the Sunac Land lantern display, which the kids absolutely loved. The price was also very reasonable, and having parking spaces downstairs was super convenient. Our trip to Harbin was fantastic, and I highly recommend the Aoxue Hotel.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right on Central Street, just a two-minute walk away. All the surrounding attractions are close by and easily reachable on foot. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the hotel was newly renovated in December '25, so the facilities are brand new and there's no renovation smell at all. Super satisfied!

Our stay at this new hotel was fantastic! The room was super spacious, perfect for two adults and a child. They even set up a sofa bed for us, so everyone had their own bed. Having a bathtub was a huge plus – after a day of digging for shells, a hot soak was incredibly relaxing for the little one. Our room on the 15th floor offered amazing views from the large window, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The self-service laundry was convenient, and my child thoroughly enjoyed the gym. The wontons at breakfast were delicious, and they even added beef! While the selection wasn't as vast as a Hilton, the quality of ingredients was outstanding. We especially loved the healthy salads with kale. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the city center. It's only a 10-minute walk to Qinhuang Alley, and a short taxi ride to Xigang Garden, Jinmeng Coast, and Qianshuiwan. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qinhuangdao!

This hotel offers incredible value for money. We stayed in a family room with three people, and it was very spacious with plenty of room for all our belongings. The room decor was cozy, and the amenities were very comprehensive, even including disposable toilet seat covers and disposable bathtub liners. In the lobby, you can borrow traditional costumes for free photos. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic and always greeted us proactively. The hotel's location is excellent. It's a two-minute walk to the subway station, and another minute to the Songhua River. Central Street is about a seven or eight-minute walk away, and Hongzhuan Morning Market is a five or six-minute walk. Despite being so close to everything, it's surprisingly quiet, with not much traffic or pedestrian flow directly in front of the hotel.

Facilities: Very good. Since it's the off-season, some pools are under maintenance and not all are open, but there are still enough to use. Cleanliness: Very clean. The water in the hot spring pools is crystal clear. Service: All the staff I encountered were very warm and friendly. The waitress selling drinks and ice cream in the hot spring area was especially thoughtful. I accidentally bumped and injured my leg, and she proactively helped me get ice and a towel for a cold compress, and kept asking if I needed any further assistance with genuine concern.

I was looking for a place close to the Grand Theatre to catch a show and stumbled upon this gem of a B&B. It's less than a ten-minute ride to the theatre. The hotel manager, a beautiful and kind lady, was absolutely wonderful. I arrived around dinner time, and she even brought me some dumplings! After the musical, she arranged a car to pick me up. Knowing I was heading to Central Avenue, she even gave me her own hand warmers. The room itself was clean, spacious, and cozy. If I ever come back, I'm definitely staying here again!

A bit disappointed. We were driving, so parking was our top priority. Many hotels near Central Street either only have a few parking spots right at the entrance or no parking at all. This hotel has its own parking lot, and the location is indeed excellent, very close to Central Street. However, the room was tiny, pitifully so; the bed was right there as soon as you opened the door. And the facilities were very, very old. I honestly felt that for this price, the room was a huge letdown – the discrepancy was just too big. The front desk staff, though, were quite friendly and good. I forgot to take pictures, so I used the hotel's images. The pictures are accurate, but in reality, the facilities are much older.

On this business trip to Harbin, I stayed at this hotel. The room's desk was large enough, and the Wi-Fi was stable, making email processing very smooth. The lobby bar was also quiet, perfect for an impromptu video conference. The meeting rooms were well-equipped, with working projectors and audio. The concierge service was proactive, helping with luggage and guiding to the elevators. Account Manager Manager Zhu provided naturally warm and sincere service, not faked enthusiasm, which made me feel very comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety and was filling. The executive lounge was on a high floor with excellent views. The housekeeping staff cleaned very thoroughly; the desk was dust-free, and the bathroom glass was sparkling. The facilities were well-maintained and felt new. Staying here for business was hassle-free.

I specifically chose to stay at the Sofitel Harbin, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained the hardware is. Even though the hotel has been open for many years, all the facilities are regularly inspected and maintained. Our front desk agent, Delia, was wonderful. All the in-room electronics and bathroom water flow worked perfectly, showing no signs of aging or malfunction. The heated pool and gym are well-equipped and the equipment is meticulously maintained. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The overall environment is peaceful, and the hygiene standards are high. The location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the service is professional and attentive. It's clear the hotel management is very dedicated. Highly recommended.

Extremely satisfied! The front desk staff were all so warm and welcoming, and the gentleman at the entrance was extremely polite, greeting us with a smile every time we came and went. The housekeeping lady even neatly folded the clothes we left lying around, and they gave us a farewell gift when we checked out. The hotel staff also thoughtfully helped load our luggage into the car. The service was exceptional! The breakfast had a great variety and changed daily during our multi-day stay—such a thoughtful and attentive hotel. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Harbin!!

I highly recommend staying here. While the hotel is a bit older, the decor is excellent, and the design is very refined. There were quite a few guests staying as well. The breakfast is highly recommended, especially the sauerkraut dumplings – they taste very authentic. They also had sauerkraut with boiled pork slices (Suan Cai Chuan Bai Rou). This was my first time visiting Harbin. Having stayed at many hotels across the country, I ultimately chose the Harbin Dayang Junyi Sky Garden Hotel. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was struck by how grand and impressive it felt. Up on the second floor, the receptionist enthusiastically helped me with the check-in process. All three receptionists provided exceptionally warm service, especially the front office manager, who was warm, caring, and heartwarming. Even when the hotel didn't have an item I needed, they went out of their way to find a solution for me. In such freezing weather, they even went out specifically to buy it for me. The hotel offers a self-service afternoon tea with a great variety of options, including yogurt, pastries, coffee, and tea. Just as I was about to head downstairs, one of the staff members had already thoughtfully brought up a selection of yogurt, coffee, and snacks for me. With service this exceptional, I simply had to write a heartfelt review—it was such a delightful surprise. Overall, whether considering the location, indoor environment, hardware and decor, or hotel service, this is the absolute best choice! I will definitely choose to stay here again when I come back to see the ice sculptures at the end of the year!

The location is super convenient! A ten-minute walk to the left takes you to Qiulin Company and Fendou Food Store, and another ten minutes gets you to the Provincial Museum. To the right, there are many snack bars and BBQ stalls, and if you keep walking, you'll reach the Church of the Intercession. It's also a short taxi or subway ride to Central Street or the riverside. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Harbin, this one had the most convenient transportation. It seems they host a lot of group bookings, as there were always guests waiting to check in at the front desk every day. So, available rooms might be limited and you should book quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, very patient and meticulous, and even assisted me with contacting a courier (੭ •_•)📦

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

What a fantastic stay! The hotel is conveniently located at Museum Station, a junction of Metro Line 1 and 2, and within walking distance of Heilongjiang Provincial Museum. It's just two subway stops from Harbin Institute of Technology and five stops from Sun Island Park, making it incredibly easy to get around. The room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The bedding was soft and comfortable, with a choice of pillows at different heights. The laundry room offered self-service options, or you could have staff assist you, which saved a lot of time waiting. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient, and the public areas were spotless and pleasantly fragrant throughout. Nearby, you'll find the famous Qiulin Company, Lidaosi International Building, Fendou Food Store (highly recommended!), Haobaike under Yuan Da Shopping Mall, and Songlei Commercial Building, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. It's a quiet oasis in the bustling city, an excellent choice whether it's your first time in Harbin or you're a returning visitor.
