After a long journey, all you want is a comfortable and straightforward trip into the city. No complicated processes, no confusion, and definitely no dragging heavy suitcases through crowded stations. Why Harbin’s Airport Matters

Harbin Taiping International Airport handles a significant number of passengers each year, especially during the winter peak when visitors arrive for the world-famous Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. Prior to the pandemic, passenger traffic grew steadily as Harbin became more popular among international travellers.

Its strong network of domestic routes makes it easy for Malaysian travellers to connect through cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, or Shenzhen before continuing onward to Harbin.

Strategically located in Daoli District, the airport links Harbin with key cities across northeastern China. Its position supports regional development and provides smooth access for both business visitors and tourists. The airport is also well connected to the city via shuttle buses, taxis, private transfers, and ride-hailing services.

Harbin Taiping International Airport is continuously upgrading its facilities to support growing tourism demand. Travellers will find a clean, modern terminal equipped with automated check-in counters, efficient immigration processing, and convenient transportation links. Despite the extreme winter conditions outside, the terminal remains warm, comfortable, and traveller-friendly, ensuring a pleasant arrival experience for international visitors.

Arrived at the hotel with a mix of excitement and apprehension for winter in Harbin. As soon as we stepped out of the car, a handsome bellboy at the entrance, upon learning we were checking in, immediately helped with our luggage and escorted us to the front desk. The young lady at the front desk was warm and efficient with the check-in process, and the manager proactively upgraded our room. During our stay, a friendly host came to introduce the hotel's history and available services, then led us to our room, explaining how to use the facilities. We instantly felt at home. The century-old Russian-style aristocratic elevator is still operational, and the antique gramophone still plays music. The lobby is grand and opulent, with old artworks adorning the walls, truly showcasing the ceremonial charm of an historic hotel. Breakfast was also good, with specialties like pan-fried steak. While having coffee in the room, I accidentally broke a saucer, and the manager promptly assisted with the issue and waived the fee. Upon departure, they even gave us thoughtful little snacks. It was a very pleasant stay. My fondness for Harbin now comes from the warm people we encountered. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I have to give a huge shout-out to Manager Xiao Jing at the Shangri-La Hotel Harbin! From check-in inquiries to responding to our needs, she was incredibly patient and meticulous, professional yet genuinely caring. She really made our entire trip feel warm and wonderful – truly amazing! We were traveling with a child, and Manager Xiao Jing even offered a complimentary kids' breakfast. At check-out, she gave us a souvenir little tiger. We will definitely choose to stay here again next time we're in Harbin!

This was my first stay at the New Paris Hotel, and I was very satisfied. It's conveniently located with parking available, and the hotel facilities are complete and well-maintained. The breakfast was good, and it's very reasonable that children under 1.4m eat for free. If you don't feel like going out, there's also a Chinese restaurant where you can order food and a lobby bar with small cakes. The room was warm, which was great because it was very cold outside in the Northeast, but it was so cozy once inside. The hotel's various facilities and equipment are comprehensive, the hygiene is excellent, and the service is enthusiastic. To visit all the popular attractions, you can just take the subway right from the hotel entrance – super convenient! The gym is also great, offering more equipment than most hotels. Choosing New Paris for this trip was definitely the right decision.

The Shangri-La Hotel Harbin Songbei package included a light meal and afternoon tea. The location is very close to the Ice and Snow World, and the hotel is new with excellent hygiene. Most importantly, the service was great. We rested for a while in the Horizon Club Lounge on the 28th floor and had some simple afternoon tea. Linda and Wendy even gave us small Russian nesting doll gifts, which was a very thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Harbin in winter has an amazing atmosphere. The perfectly uniform, massive parking lot, luxurious and spacious rooms, and huge floor-to-ceiling windows that are perfect for enjoying the snow views were all excellent. The thoughtful service from the Guest Relations Manager, in particular, made us feel so warm and welcomed. We'll definitely come back to Harbin Marriott if we get the chance. ❤️

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Central Avenue, Hongzhuan Street, and the subway, just a few minutes' walk. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, which is very convenient. The entrance is a bit small, and the facilities are a bit old, but it's very clean, and the staff's service attitude is very pleasant.

Excellent location. Harbin Railway Station is a convenient 10-minute walk via Jingxiao Street, and St. Iver Church and the Orphanage are right next door. Subway Line 2 is just a 5-minute walk away. Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral are a pleasant 20-minute-plus stroll, perfect for an after-dinner walk. Inside, the rain shower offered excellent water pressure, the pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the TV even had a sleep timer. For an even more perfect stay, I'd suggest a hairdryer that doesn't require constant button-holding and the removal of the deposit requirement.

Holiday Inn is as always good value for money international hotel chain. I stayed here during the Spring Festival Holidays (**************), so did not find any restaurants open nearby. The staff was overwhelmed during morning breakfast hours due to lots of guests. Nonetheless they were hardworking and put in extra efforts to serve all the guests, well beyond the breakfast time. Appreciate their service attitude. A bad experience would be with the washing machine which wouldn't work without coins, which is quite weird as usually the self-service laundry is free or could be operated by QR code payments. I had already put the detergent on the clothes making them wet, only to be told that I had to wait until the next day morning as the front desk did not have coins, I had checkout in the morning.

The Habsburg Hotel is conveniently located. The front desk staff who checked us in noticed we were sensitive to the cold and thoughtfully provided heated knee pads and hand warmers, which instantly made us feel cozy. The hotel heating was excellent; wearing short sleeves in the room was perfectly fine. The room also had two humidifiers to increase moisture. The hotel isn't far from the Red Brick Morning Market, so we could visit the market and still come back to the hotel to rest. Overall, a great hotel with a comfortable stay.

This was my first visit to this hotel. The parking lot is very spacious. The moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was lovely. I also appreciated the pleasant aroma diffusing throughout the hotel. After checking in, my room was very nice, and they even have a gym and a laundry room available. Five-star review! The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was great. It's super convenient for getting around, very close to the subway. Our check-in experience was fantastic. My friend and I came for a trip and definitely didn't pick the wrong hotel. The bed was really soft, and the room was spacious and bright. There's even an amusement park within the resort, so if you get tired of staying in the hotel, you can go wander around – it's all very interesting. The entire park has a European castle architectural style, which is beautiful and perfect for photos. Plus, all the staff were wonderful, with very friendly service. There's also a shuttle bus within the park, making it easy to get around. The breakfast was incredibly rich and awesome! We even happened to catch a newly opened venue within the park and went to check it out – it was so dreamy and huge, you could even do cosplay! It was amazing. No matter where you went, the staff were always super nice. 👍
