All the team and the manager are very nice and kind. They support us to book boat tours and provide all information. Everything organized, picked up from the hotel, food and drinks. The breakfast is ok with Chinese food mainly. The rooms (small wooden chalets) are very well decorated and well equipped. Clean and comfortable! The bathroom is very convenient and clean. We really recommend this place if you stay in Semporna. The only issue, it is a little bit far but the manager can help you to find a way to reach the center.

This used to be called Pom Pom Island Dragon Pearl Resort, but now it has a new name. It's a 45-minute speedboat ride from Semporna jetty. This is a private island, free from tour groups and local disturbances. There are very few people on the island, so it feels like you have the whole island to yourself for three days, with only the sound of the waves for company. The 'jellyfish sea' lives up to its reputation. The shallow waters are vast and incredibly clear, even at two to three meters deep, where you can easily see coral and schools of fish. Every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. Sea turtles and clownfish are frequent visitors. The beach is spacious, and there are sun loungers and hammocks right outside the beach bungalows, giving you a true private beach experience. This time we stayed in a beach bungalow. The facilities are indeed dated – wooden structure, and electricity relies on its own system, with two short power outages every day (something to consider if this bothers you). However, the cleaning was very thorough. The ant problem was quite prominent, so remember to put away all food. The room comes with life jackets, and upon arrival, guests are reminded to wear them when swimming and that swimming is prohibited after 6 PM. Safety warnings are visible everywhere. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are buffet-style, with very limited choices and ordinary taste. The only fruits available are watermelon and papaya, rotated daily. Perhaps because there are so few guests, the food replenishment is also slow. Don't go with high expectations; just consider it as a way to refuel. Tips: There's no WiFi on the island, and mobile signal is sporadic. The service is neither good nor bad, not particularly enthusiastic. The facilities are old, but the scenery and tranquility are its strong points. If you're looking for luxury and comfort, I'd advise against it.

It's not as accommodating as hotels back home; early check-in wasn't an option. I bought some flip-flops locally that gave me blisters, and they didn't have any bandaids. Friends visiting should definitely bring their own comfy slippers. After island hopping, I wanted to shower but couldn't get a day-use room. There's a public restroom next to the lobby on the first floor, but you can't shower there – apparently, there's a 200 MYR fine if you do. Guess it just shows how competitive the hotel industry is back home!

There's also a communal bar area where you can cook your own noodles and eggs. Just a heads up, there are often kids at the entrance trying to sell things and offering to help – try to ignore them, as they'll keep asking you for money.

Accommodations in Semporna town are generally quite basic. This time, traveling with my kids, I booked the Sipadan Inn 2. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Marine Tourism Center, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. However, there's a bar next door where many young people sing, and there are lots of dogs in town that fight at night, making it a bit noisy. Breakfast is very simple, and I won't go into detail about the hotel's facilities – they're considered decent for Semporna, but don't set your expectations too high. I brought my own disposable bedding. The hotel staff's service was excellent overall; they were very friendly when I asked for water or information during my stay. Oh, and the hotel is very close to the seafood market, so you can buy fresh seafood and have it prepared – it's incredibly tender and delicious.

He helped us introduce the island hopping tour, reminded us of the precautions for the island hopping tour, and also helped us with the guide to charter a car to the airport. He sent a message in the middle of the night early the next morning. Just replied, very warm and friendly, the room is also very clean and beautiful, there are no bugs or mosquitoes, it has air conditioning and TV, and the location is easy to find and locate. Good reviews. It's a rare opportunity to go with my parents. It's my first time to Malaysia and I don't have much experience. I arrived early in the morning and although it's not time to check in, the boss immediately arranged for us to check in and personally took us to the town. This place basically covers all the activities of island tours. For a novice like me, this is the right choice. Also, the town is really small and the environment is a bit dirty and messy. I should book all the rooms in a homestay. The environment is beautiful and the atmosphere is leisurely. I will book this place again next time. Also, they also provide seafood processing here. The price is very affordable. The seafood bought in the town is directly processed. The taste is very nice and it cures our Chinese stomach

I really appreciated the kindness, availability, and attentiveness of all the staff. The room is small, but since I'm alone, it's perfectly fine. It's very clean and well-maintained; the housekeeping staff comes every day, changes whatever you need, and restocks water, coffee, toilet paper, etc. The location is good, and the hotel itself is very quiet, but since it's made of containers, the insulation isn't great. You can hear music from the restaurants and the calls to prayer. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning work very well.

Service: Enthusiastic. Environment: Central location in town with all amenities nearby, and well-equipped room facilities! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. This is my second visit to Semporna, so I'm quite familiar with the hotels and their surroundings. While this hostel's private rooms might not offer the absolute best value for money, they are still quite good.

Shirley was incredibly helpful. We had initially booked another hotel, but the formaldehyde smell was too strong, so I quickly found this place. I asked if they could pick me up, and they said the manager would be there in 15 minutes. Super efficient! This hotel turned out to be excellent – very clean with incredibly warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. We stayed for four consecutive nights, and they were always accommodating. For someone visiting a new country, this is truly a fantastic hotel; you don't have to worry about a thing. There are plenty of restaurants downstairs, and it's very close to the pier, which is super convenient.

Really great stay, excellent wifi, hot shower & clean bathroom. Staff at check in were very kind and even let us check in early. One of the best night sleep we’ve had so far on our trip - the room was dark, very quiet, and the bed was seriously comfortable, could stay here just to sleep in the room

The room was spotless, and the owner was incredibly nice; we had no trouble communicating in Mandarin. After checking out in the morning, we left our luggage with the owner and picked it up after snorkeling in the afternoon, which was very convenient. It's a shame we didn't get to cook our own meals here this time, as we were a bit rushed. Next time I'm back in Semporna, I'll definitely stay here again!
