The rainfall shower was sublime, with excellent water pressure and perfect temperature control. I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing soak in the bathtub. Situated in the heart of Orchard Road, the hotel’s location was perfect. With an abundance of malls and halal eateries just steps away, everything I needed was within easy reach. Checkout was a breeze, handled by Abby, another sweetheart whose warmth and efficiency made the end of my stay as pleasant as the beginning. I didn’t take any photos. I was so absorbed in enjoying my personal space. My kid's favourite hotel for staycation! Receive a complimentary upgrade n it fits us family of 4 perfectly! And just outside their level 1 cafe, there is a 24/7 halal hotfood vending machine. We could not use the machine for self check-in because their system could not find our booking on trip.com, so a staff member had to manually check in for us. Excellent facilities - they provided lots of trolleys for luggages near the front door/reception area, which I think were quite thoughtful. Our kids used the playground a lot. Would love to use the swimming pool but our room (Studio Queen and Single) was quite small (especially the bathoom) to hang our swim clothes to dry. Coat hangers were provided in the room which could be used to hang swimclothes on to airdry, but with the humidity in Singapore, it would take about 2 days to completely dry. In the middle of our stay, we found a dead cockroach on the bed (first photo) while clearing stuff to prep the room for daily room service/cleaning. We left it there for the cleaner to handle it, but when we came back at night, the dead cockroach was still in the room (and moved to a different spot this time - second photo), so we cleaned it ourselves. A last minute decision for a 1 night staycation for 2 adults & 2 kids. Location: About 10-15mins walk away from Bugis MRT station. Lots of eateries and restaurants near by, very near to Haji lane for some unique shopping buys. Near Kampong Glam to enjoy the vibes. Hotel: 2 Small building, one main building with lobby and swimming pool of the 5th level, there is a small lift to bring you up. Another building with only rooms, no lift, and we stay on the 2nd level. There is a small swimming pool, but it was crowded, so we did not go swimming. Room: Room is big and spacious, the kids can really run while in the room. The bunk bed with the slide are their favourite. The bunk bed is big, could sleep 2 kids on 1 bed. The room also comes with a big bathtub. Cleanliness for the toilet and beds are good but the floor is a little dirty, with some hair strands around. There is capsule coffee and tea, as well as 4 bottles of water in the room. Basic amenities such as toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, shampoo and shower gel provided. They even includes bath salts if you want to soak in the bathtub. This is really a plus for us. For this category of hotel, in that area, this is easily the best hotel, I can assure you
The hotel is always clean. You use your card to access your lift landing, providing you with privacy.
And they provide TWO access cards which I don’t find any other hotel in that area provide. I find this convenient.
The pillows and mattress can match those of 5 star hotels easily. Super comfortable!
You just need to bring your suitcases.
Toothbrushes, shampoo, body lotion and body wash are provided so you don’t need to purchase your own (unlike some of the other hotels in that area).
You have drinking water on every floor in front of the lift. You can also boil your own water in the room and there’s complimentary drinks and 2 packets of snacks.
The staff are professionally dressed with excellent service - polite, always smiling and efficient.
Just a note - the hotel requires a SGD100 deposit which will be returned upon checking out. Use cash instead of signing the deposit with your credit card as the refund to your card would take a week or so.
