An incredibly smart choice, we loved this French-style hotel with huge gardens! The twin beds were super big and comfortable, and the room hygiene was spot-on – truly five-star worthy! It's worth mentioning that the Italian restaurant, both service and dishes, was top-notch; we enjoyed it so much we went twice. The White Lotus Thai restaurant was also delicious, and the service was very attentive! The hotel pool is massive, really fun, and great for families with kids! Every staff member we encountered had excellent service awareness and was very nice! It's only about a 20-minute drive to the meeting point for island-hopping in the morning, which is totally acceptable and very convenient. There's also a 7-Eleven within a 10-minute walk, so it's easy to grab drinks and snacks. All in all, our whole family loved it, a truly memorable hotel experience!

The hotel staff were tremendous and a definite asset. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning yoga sessions we attended with Sasha, who ensured an inclusive session for all levels. In a lovely setting and away from it all but you will need to taxi, or use shuttle to get anywhere. There is a small bar just outside hotel - left as you exit - ran by a couple of local brothers. It’s worth a visit definitely. I get it’s an Eco Hotel and independent but many of the hotel facilities are not what you would expect of a 5 star: gym is very rudimentary and some of kit, not in great nick; the rooms - we had a swim up suite - were quite dated furniture-wise and showing signs of extended wear and tear for instance The wi-fi for us was non-existent in room, and very hit and miss (mostly miss) in and around pool area. I’d imagine this might be a big issue for young families… The breakfast was fine, as was the rooftop bar food. In summary a pleasant enough stay, but not sure it was value for money at the price, and not comparable really to hotels we’d stayed at beforehand and since on this trip. I’d say a four star at best…

The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the beach is incredible! The forest environment is very tranquil; I got lost every day, and there were even cute lemurs~ The room was also excellent, very spacious and tidy, with a Southeast Asian decor style. The hotel service was also great, with plenty of activities, and the breakfast and afternoon tea were very good. The hotel's cave restaurant and Thai restaurant were surprisingly delicious, and combined with the scenic views, it offered fantastic value for money! The only issue is that the round-trip transportation costs extra and is quite expensive, but I still absolutely love this hotel and would definitely come back if I get the chance.

The location is great, just steps from the beach with restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself has a massage parlor, a bar, and dining options. I stayed in a family garden view room, which was on the second floor after walking through a pathway past the pool. The room was well-equipped, and I discovered a hidden door. When I opened it, it led to the adjacent room, suggesting these rooms can be connected to form a suite. Just in case, I moved the table and chairs behind the door before going to sleep. It happened to be raining, so there might be mosquitoes; I recommend bringing insect repellent. The hotel's bar and dining were good, and the breakfast offered a wide variety. There were many Caucasian and Indian guests during my stay. The massage parlor was excellent, with private rooms and comfortable techniques.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations, from the moment I checked in until I left, it was a comfortable and thoughtful experience all the way through. What surprised me most was that the hotel upgraded my room type for free without prior announcement. Opening the door to a more spacious room with a better view was both a delightful surprise and incredibly heartwarming. The staff were gentle and polite throughout, with attention to detail evident everywhere. The environment was meticulously clean, and the amenities were complete and functional. The service was unobtrusive yet perfectly executed, understated and genuinely good. The complimentary hotel car service was superb. I'll definitely choose this place first for my next trip, highly recommend it!

At night, we could hear a lot of noise from the hostel across the street. The room wasn't very soundproof, as we could hear our neighbors and even geckos. Breakfast is served until 10:00 a.m., and a slightly longer timing would be appreciated. We noticed ants on some tables in the breakfast area, possibly due to the wooden furniture. One highlight was the wide selection of beverages available at breakfast.

Location: The hotel is right by Ao Nang Beach, but not directly on the main road. You'll need to walk about 200 meters from the longtail boat ticket office. Cleanliness: I personally found it good; the floors and corners were very clean. I saw two geckos in the room, but no mosquitoes. Service: I didn't encounter any staff who spoke Chinese, but everyone was very friendly. They emptied the trash and changed towels daily. Ambiance: Good greenery, right next to the beach with beautiful views. Facilities: Relatively old, but well-maintained and mostly sufficient. The shower water pressure was low and not very hot. The air conditioning was noisy. Breakfast: Average.

You can catch a longtail boat to Railay from just outside the alley, as Ao Nang's beach isn't very impressive. The massage place across from the hotel was the cheapest I found. Hotel breakfast was decent, though it didn't change much over four days, which was a bit annoying. The two 1.3m beds were quite large for Thailand.

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach by IHG, staying on a room package that included breakfast for five days. Overall, we had a lovely stay, but there were a few things worth sharing—especially for fellow Muslim travellers. We had assumed the breakfast buffet would be fully halal-friendly. While there were halal options available, pork was also served, so do keep that in mind if that’s important to you. The biggest frustration was the breakfast package itself. Although we had prepaid for all five days, the hotel had no record of it. Every single morning we had to explain that breakfast was included, which became quite irritating. Thankfully, after raising the issue for the third time, the team finally resolved it. As a kind gesture, they treated us to drinks at one of their restaurants, which we appreciated. A special anniversary touch was also a little confusing. Mr. Yah mentioned that a small cake would be delivered to our room, but it never arrived. On our final day, we received a brownie instead—perhaps that was the “small cake” he was referring to. That said, we absolutely loved the beautiful welcome message arranged on our bed when we arrived. It made us feel very special. Our daughter, Ava, had the best time! She absolutely loved the Kids Club and the mini water park, which kept her entertained for hours and made the holiday even more enjoyable for the whole family. The resort’s layout took a little getting used to. It’s spread across multiple levels, so navigating around was slightly confusing on the first day. After that, it became much easier. However, families with strollers or anyone with mobility challenges should be aware that moving between the different levels can be a bit of a challenge. Despite a few hiccups, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and tried to make things right when issues were raised, and the resort offers a great atmosphere for families. With a few improvements in communication and record-keeping, the experience would have been even better.

Beautiful hotel in Ao Nang located up in the mountains, surrounded by jungle. The rooms are spacious, wooden, and feel like a little retreat. There’s a shuttle that takes you up to your room, which is fun, but if you want to walk everywhere or walk to the beach easily, this place is probably not for you. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, keep in mind you’ll hear nature sounds at night. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby though, which is convenient. The pool is beautiful, but they don’t sell alcohol there, so just know that in advance. Breakfast was okay, maybe 3/5, but the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was really special.

If you want to save money, ask the staff for an extra blanket to sleep on the sofa. If you prefer more comfort, you can pay extra on the spot, and the staff will convert it into a sofa bed with a mattress and sheets. It's 150 (currency not specified) including breakfast for one person, which is a great deal. However, the bathroom in the room is poorly designed, lacking a door, which causes water to splash out. Overall, it's good, but personally, I still prefer to relax by the sea.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The reception staff were friendly, attentive, and provided good service. However, there was a communication mix up during my stay, and I was disappointed that no apology was offered regarding the misunderstanding. Only one key card was provided for the room, which I assume may be due to the hotel's use of a higher cost key card system as a local brand. While understandable, providing a second key card upon request would have been appreciated. The rooms were well designed and visually appealing. However, one of the two rooms I stayed in appeared not to be fully prepared, as some decorative elements had been removed, which affected the overall presentation. Additionally, the air conditioner was a bit noisy, which slightly impacted comfort. On a positive note, the complimentary minibar set was a thoughtful touch and added value to the stay. We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Everything was clean, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely the best, nothing to complain about at all. The scenery was breathtaking, especially the pool overlooking the stunning limestone hills. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which made us love this place even more. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope to come back again next year. This is an older place with catfishing photos. The place is not bad but the photos set your expectations too high. I was given the wrong room & no compensation. I did not want a hot tub. I paid for a swim up pool. That is not what I got. It's okay. The area is great. Good weather makes a 5k walk to the beach worth it. The hotel is a solid okay. Hot water works, but the bath is old and needs a Lysol wipe down and upgrade. For me, it was slightly sus cleaning, but clean linen a decent and location. They comped water, tea , coffee, have a mini fridge and are nice people. Its an okay place with grimy carpets, joining room doors, an old couch, a kids' wet play area. Some uneven floors but a decent menu that seems to come from some other place. At lunch, there's no kitchen to be seen or cooking smells but the food is good. It is not served in the restaurant, but near the bar and kids' water park. You can make it work. I did not like having the wrong room.

🌴 Ananta Burin Resort, Krabi. Pin this resort for a complete getaway! It's super close to Ao Nang Beach and Nopparat Thara Beach, just under a 5-minute walk away. It caters to all your vacation needs with its exciting water park and private in-room bathtubs. The staff are incredibly lovely! The mini-bar in the room is all free to consume. My only regret is that the water park only opens at 10 AM; I wish it opened at 9 AM! 😍

A really lovely hotel that feels like a sanctuary in the hustle of Aonang. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent and well priced food options at the onsite restaurant. Do note that this hotel does not serve any alcohol as it is Muslim run/owned. They do however serve excellent mocktails and shakes. This hotel is situated on a hill, about a 15 minute walk to the beach, but there is a shuttle that runs about 6 times a day. Walking is relatively easy, however the last little climb up the hill can be hot! The villas are spacious and cool. Thanks for a lovely stay.

stayed at BlueSotel Ao Nang last week and had a really great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very nice. The location is also very convenient, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby, so it was easy to move around and enjoy Ao Nang. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the room was comfortable and well-maintained. I also really liked the hotel facilities and the relaxing environment. This was my second stay at this hotel. The front desk attendant who spoke Chinese had a lovely, sweet smile, and all the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fine, but I do hope for more variety at breakfast. The clear waters and complimentary water activities are a definite plus. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in the evening and a stunning starry sky at night. My only complaint concerns the two-bedroom ocean view pool villa we booked this time. We stayed in room 2302, and the air conditioning vent had a design flaw: it was positioned directly above the main bed, and the noise was so loud that it kept us awake for several nights. We complained to the front desk, and they sent staff to adjust the vent to blow left, right, and upwards, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. We requested a room change, but the hotel was almost fully booked, so they couldn't accommodate us. Our request for an early check-out was also unsuccessful. To fellow travelers planning a stay: if you're booking a villa, I strongly recommend opting for the upper floor Sala Ocean View Villa. Do NOT book the type I stayed in, otherwise you'll truly regret it – it's a waste of money, and your overall experience will be severely compromised.

The hotel is well located and once you cross the road you are on the beach. The staff were very helpful particularly Bee who is in the coffee shop and served me a strong macchiato and Arun who helped us the first day with our luggage to our rooms. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the pool. Breakfast was great and had a wide variety including European and Asian food. The only criticism was the gym which was small and could do with some yoga mats and towels whilst in use.

Location is a bit out of the way which is nice if you want a quieter part of town. Only a few minutes drive away from Aonang Beach. They also provide free shuttles but only 3 times a day. They also have a shuttle to Central Krabi but it will run only until 21st April 2026. Easy to get grab as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The main facility is the pool, so if you like swimming, this is definitely the hotel to stay. I did pass by a building in the hotel where it does seem like there is/will be a gym but it's not open for guests as of my stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but water pressure was inconsistent but not a huge deal.

I arrived at BlueSotel SMART after a long journey and was initially given a Deluxe Double Room With Balcony. When I mentioned a couple of small things, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They immediately offered to move me and ended up upgrading me to an absolutely stunning room with a beautiful freestanding bathtub and one of the best views in the hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room felt luxurious, and the whole vibe of the hotel is just perfect. The rooftop pool and location near the beach are bonuses too. The service here is genuinely excellent — they really go out of their way to make you happy. Highly recommend this place PS I arrived at BlueSotel SMART around 11AM and even though check-in was officially at 3 PM. They welcomed me right away .

We loved the wake up ao nang hotel! It is near ao nang beach and it's a great strategy I think to book with them. They and the Krabi Tipa have the same management and when we got back from our Phi Phi island tour (4pm) they accommodated us and helped us by allowing us to check out early, leaving our things at the lobby and giving us permission to use the shower and the pool at krabi tipa. Overall, amazing stay!

Honestly. Riverside hotel had a fairly good service. I did not like the first room they had given because it was not the one I saw and booked for (it on the first floor, last room on the corridor), they immediately found another room and relocated me. The rooms are very old. The first one had mold and rust and it didn’t help that the window was facing a wall. But the location was beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. As a female traveling solo, I felt safe and secure.

We had a very pleasant stay at Krabi Heritage Hotel. The room was clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Ao Nang, with many restaurants, shops, and the beach within walking distance. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. The breakfast had a good variety of options, and the swimming pool was clean and relaxing. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Krabi and would be happy to stay here again.
