Hotel buffet breakfast was good with wide varieties. Their pastries were so good, even had freshly baked croissant hourly. However, the kids club and gym were under maintenance and relocated to ballroom and boutique respectively. Hotel provided free ice cream for kids daily as compensation. The room condition need to be improved whereby the closet door was hard to push and shower head is leaking, two of the lights were not functioning well. Pillows were too soft compared to the sofitel we stayed in bali few years ago. Room cleaning done twice a day were impressive.

The hotel staff were tremendous and a definite asset. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning yoga sessions we attended with Sasha, who ensured an inclusive session for all levels. In a lovely setting and away from it all but you will need to taxi, or use shuttle to get anywhere. There is a small bar just outside hotel - left as you exit - ran by a couple of local brothers. It’s worth a visit definitely. I get it’s an Eco Hotel and independent but many of the hotel facilities are not what you would expect of a 5 star: gym is very rudimentary and some of kit, not in great nick; the rooms - we had a swim up suite - were quite dated furniture-wise and showing signs of extended wear and tear for instance The wi-fi for us was non-existent in room, and very hit and miss (mostly miss) in and around pool area. I’d imagine this might be a big issue for young families… The breakfast was fine, as was the rooftop bar food. In summary a pleasant enough stay, but not sure it was value for money at the price, and not comparable really to hotels we’d stayed at beforehand and since on this trip. I’d say a four star at best…

We had a fantastic time at Rayavadee! The location is perfect for both Rilay beach and Phra Nang beach. The buffet dinner at Grotto was 5 stars. Breakfast was great too. Top quality food and services throughout our stay. Staffs were friendly and very helpful in every way. We saw monkeys, lizards and birds in the resort. This place is naturally beautiful and well preserved!

The location is great, just steps from the beach with restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself has a massage parlor, a bar, and dining options. I stayed in a family garden view room, which was on the second floor after walking through a pathway past the pool. The room was well-equipped, and I discovered a hidden door. When I opened it, it led to the adjacent room, suggesting these rooms can be connected to form a suite. Just in case, I moved the table and chairs behind the door before going to sleep. It happened to be raining, so there might be mosquitoes; I recommend bringing insect repellent. The hotel's bar and dining were good, and the breakfast offered a wide variety. There were many Caucasian and Indian guests during my stay. The massage parlor was excellent, with private rooms and comfortable techniques.

What surprised me most was that the hotel upgraded my room type for free without prior announcement. Opening the door to a more spacious room with a better view was both a delightful surprise and incredibly heartwarming. The staff were gentle and polite throughout, with attention to detail evident everywhere. The environment was meticulously clean, and the amenities were complete and functional. Booked this hotel based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, and it offered great value for money. When booking, I specifically requested a high-floor room away from the elevators. The hotel ended up giving me a corner room on the sixth floor with large L-shaped windows, which was fantastic. The hotel's location is excellent; right outside, there's a popular street perfect for Instagrammable photos, and every day you see many locals taking pictures there. There are 7-Eleven stores on both sides when you step out, making daily life convenient. The beach is also within walking distance. In the other direction, about two kilometers away, there's a Lotus supermarket, and about 2.5 kilometers further, a local market with cheap fruit and an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet for 180 per person, highly recommended. The hotel provides two key cards, so you can keep the power on even when you're out.

Booking this hotel through Trip.com was quite a rip-off. We paid around 1000 Thai Baht via the platform, and our room was located right next to the gym and close to the main road, which made it incredibly noisy all night long – we couldn't get any proper rest. What really bugged us was finding out that friends who booked directly with the hotel paid only 800 Thai Baht and even received a 200 Thai Baht breakfast voucher! On top of that, their room had a great view, while our experience was terrible. It's clear that this platform charges Chinese tourists a higher price. Objectively speaking, the hotel's cleanliness was decent. The fatal flaws are the terrible soundproofing and the inflated prices on the booking platform. If you can get it for 800 Thai Baht with the voucher, the hotel's overall value for money would be acceptable, but if you end up with a noisy room at the platform's price, I definitely don't recommend it.

A very comfortable resort hotel. It's affordable and well-located, not secluded at all, and within walking distance to the lively Ao Nang Beach area. The parking is a bit interesting; it's a ring of spaces around the hotel building, which is convenient, but if you come back late during peak season when it's fully booked, you might not find a spot. The suite is quite spacious and well-equipped. Although it shows some signs of age, most of it is well-maintained. The only minor issues were that the bathtub faucet had dirty water (possibly due to not being used for a long time) and the blackout curtains could be improved.

This hotel was a real favorite! Everything was perfect: the staff, the facilities, the service, the location… Every detail has been carefully considered. A special shout-out for the cleanliness: the teams even clean the balcony every day. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautiful, furnished with meticulous attention to detail. For instance, there are plenty of outlets, which is not always the case in all hotels, and there are even some on the balcony! :) The staff are attentive, warm, smiling, and always go the extra mile. You don’t even need to ask for anything; they anticipate your needs with great discretion. The location is ideal. The hotel is situated right on Ao Nang’s main pedestrian street, with a 7-Eleven directly opposite, a currency exchange office, and numerous shops and services nearby. You can reach Ao Nang beach in less than a five-minute walk. Everything is accessible on foot. A huge thank you to the entire Panan Krabi team for this exceptional stay!

This is a natural oasis. We were immersed in nature the moment we stepped in. The resort beautifully co-exists with its surroundings, which we absolutely loved. If you are booking, do keep in mind that the resort is built on hills, so you would need to wait for the shuttle to travel to and from different areas within the property. The room was extremely clean with no complaints at all. However, since the resort is located in the hills and surrounded by nature, there were ants and insects attracted to the lights, especially at night. Because of this, we could only really enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi during the daytime. There are also monkeys and monitor lizards around the resort, although I only spotted two monitor lizards during our stay. The in-house restaurant and pool were very good as well and added to the overall experience. The whole place feels very remote and peaceful — truly the kind of destination that helps you disconnect, relax, and heal.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. They bent over backwards to ensure we had an amazing stay. The location was an easy walk into town but also far enough away from the action in town to really relax and have some down time on rest days. We kept costs down by adding an extra bed to our unit for our teenager. Rooms were cleaned each day. Food was delicious. Can’t fault the place. Loved it.

This is an older place with catfishing photos. The place is not bad but the photos set your expectations too high. I was given the wrong room & no compensation. I did not want a hot tub. I paid for a swim up pool. That is not what I got. It's okay. The area is great. Good weather makes a 5k walk to the beach worth it. The hotel is a solid okay. Hot water works, but the bath is old and needs a Lysol wipe down and upgrade. For me, it was slightly sus cleaning, but clean linen a decent and location. They comped water, tea , coffee, have a mini fridge and are nice people. Its an okay place with grimy carpets, joining room doors, an old couch, a kids' wet play area. Some uneven floors but a decent menu that seems to come from some other place. At lunch, there's no kitchen to be seen or cooking smells but the food is good. It is not served in the restaurant, but near the bar and kids' water park. You can make it work. I did not like having the wrong room.

Services was super good too! And their customer services staff & infact all their staff are friendly, helpful and always put smile on their face which feel us so welcome! Mine package include breaksfast too & their breakfast have so much variety & choices. And place is convient too nearer to shops, and for halal foods need to walk further abit. A really lovely hotel that feels like a sanctuary in the hustle of Aonang. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent and well priced food options at the onsite restaurant. Do note that this hotel does not serve any alcohol as it is Muslim run/owned. They do however serve excellent mocktails and shakes. This hotel is situated on a hill, about a 15 minute walk to the beach, but there is a shuttle that runs about 6 times a day. Walking is relatively easy, however the last little climb up the hill can be hot! The villas are spacious and cool. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The front desk attendant who spoke Chinese had a lovely, sweet smile, and all the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fine, but I do hope for more variety at breakfast. The clear waters and complimentary water activities are a definite plus. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in the evening and a stunning starry sky at night. My only complaint concerns the two-bedroom ocean view pool villa we booked this time. We stayed in room 2302, and the air conditioning vent had a design flaw: it was positioned directly above the main bed, and the noise was so loud that it kept us awake for several nights. We complained to the front desk, and they sent staff to adjust the vent to blow left, right, and upwards, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. We requested a room change, but the hotel was almost fully booked, so they couldn't accommodate us. Our request for an early check-out was also unsuccessful. To fellow travelers planning a stay: if you're booking a villa, I strongly recommend opting for the upper floor Sala Ocean View Villa. Do NOT book the type I stayed in, otherwise you'll truly regret it – it's a waste of money, and your overall experience will be severely compromised.

Con : There are no lift and we stayed at second floor =D ( They do help us to send the luggages to our room =D ) Overall : I love this hotel, will definately recommend this to our friends

Location is a bit out of the way which is nice if you want a quieter part of town. Only a few minutes drive away from Aonang Beach. They also provide free shuttles but only 3 times a day. They also have a shuttle to Central Krabi but it will run only until 21st April 2026. Easy to get grab as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The main facility is the pool, so if you like swimming, this is definitely the hotel to stay. I did pass by a building in the hotel where it does seem like there is/will be a gym but it's not open for guests as of my stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but water pressure was inconsistent but not a huge deal.

This was the best travel experience of my trip! Everything was seamless, from emailing to book restaurants and arrange airport pick-up, to the check-in process itself. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. They even offered a complimentary car ride to the hotel next door the following day, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was absolutely impeccable, with a beautiful wooden aesthetic. Given the natural environment, there tend to be more mosquitoes, but they thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent on the first day. As for the restaurants, I dined at The Arundina Restaurant for both meals. The staff there were so enthusiastic and even offered to take photos for me. One young lady with big eyes particularly stood out; I regret not getting her name. Dining while watching the sunset was simply divine! The hotel also offers many activities, most of which are free to join, including island-hopping tours. All in all, this was a perfect trip, and I'll definitely be back in Krabi next time. -Sonia

The staff are friendly and cheerful, offering great service. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Ao Nang Beach, with many shops and restaurants nearby.

I stayed here with my husband and our daughter, who is turning 2 very soon. The room was spacious enough, complete with a bathtub, and the bed was big enough for the three of us to sleep comfortably. Although they don’t provide baby cots, it wasn’t an issue at all. While you can't see the beach from the mountain-view room, the towering, rugged cliffs were absolutely beautiful. Since we stayed during the off-season, the price was very affordable! It was a highly satisfying stay.

The hotel has a beautiful location and the beach is truly excellent. The room was also comfortable and nicely designed. The staff are generally friendly and polite. However, this hotel definitely does not meet 5-star standards. There was no security or lifeguard at the pool or the beach, which is very concerning, especially for families with children. The staff are kind, but there is almost no proactive service. You need to explain everything twice and personally find someone if you need assistance. Housekeeping was also below expectations. Towels and tissues were not replenished unless we specifically requested them. Nothing in the room was refreshed automatically. Even more disappointing, the WiFi was cut off immediately after we checked out. One particularly unpleasant experience happened at the restaurant by the beach. I briefly stepped inside in my swimsuit just to call my child. I explained that we were leaving immediately to change and would return for dinner properly dressed. Instead of a polite reminder, I was told in a harsh tone that I had to leave immediately and that proper clothing was required. The way it was handled felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Overall, the hotel is nice in terms of location and beach quality, but the service level and overall management do not justify a 5-star rating.
