Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators!

The cleanliness details were meticulously handled; the room was spotless, and the bedding and bathroom facilities were reassuring. The twin room offered enough space for a family trip, allowing us to spread out our luggage without feeling cramped. The facilities were well-maintained; the lobby had an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere, and the elevators and corridors were clean and quiet. The service left a deep impression; check-in at the front desk was smooth, and the staff were friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We had a small request during our stay, and it was addressed very promptly, truly reflecting the InterContinental's service standards. The breakfast and public areas also offered a good experience, with a very relaxed pace overall. Adelaide itself is quite laid-back, and staying here allowed us to enjoy the convenience of the city while still feeling like we were on a vacation. Great location, great staff. But nothing amazing, felt a little outdated in rooms. Also amenities, mini bar, room service were very basic. Rooms with bathtubs should have bath salts. I know they are planning on opening a sauna/steam/cold plunge, which will definetly make stays more pleasant. Good, but just felt little outdated today with all amazing hotels around. I spend a lot of time in hotels, traveling both for work and pleasure, and I appreciate when hotel rooms have good quality tea, better snacks than just crisps and chocolate, nice bath items etc. For me, it was outdated.

Overall, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and quick to meet our needs. A special thanks to Anna and a Chinese male front desk staff member who helped us with our special requests. The restaurant staff also provided very attentive service. We booked a premium room and were given a high-floor corner twin room. It was spacious and very comfortable, with a complimentary mini-bar. The bed was on the softer side, the kind you sink into, but the pillows were great for sleeping! The room and bathroom were generally clean. The toiletries were an Australian brand, nice and fragrant. Do note that the mini-bar wasn't refilled during our multi-night stay. Downsides: 1. The wear and tear on the carpet was really hard to ignore, with some dark, sticky stains. 2. It wasn't a smart TV, but an older model with traditional channels. The breakfast was delicious. Although the menu was the same for two consecutive days and the selection wasn't extensive, it was refined. Each person received one complimentary espresso, and you could also order omelets/fried eggs separately. However, the coffee quality was a bit hit-or-miss. The hotel facilities include a gym and a rooftop bar with a dress code. The location is very close to Rundle Mall, and it's convenient to walk to the Art Gallery, Library, and Exchange Coffee. You can take the tram directly to Glenelg, and an Uber to the airport only took about 20 minutes. The only drawback is that the surrounding area is quite messy, and there are many Indigenous Australians (Aboriginal people) on the streets. First-time visitors to Australia should be cautious. In terms of value for money, I definitely recommend it!

The shower facilities were pretty good, with strong water pressure and easy temperature adjustment. The laundry room at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide by Accor is practically non-existent, with old coin-operated washing machines.

The receptionist didn't check who I was and didn't disclose the hotel room number when I told her that my partner has already checked in and I had paid for the hotel room. They don't provide a spare key when 2 adults are staying in 1 room. The amenities were decent however they need to have their signs laminated for DO NOT DISTURB or for HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE as I couldn't put the sign on the door knob because it's made out of cardboard. I could hear mobile notification noises from the room next door throughout the early morning which is annoying, there should be a sign about that. Other than that, the amenities were functional and easy to use, the bed was comfortable for me to sleep in after 20 hour flight and easy to get to. The check out reception were great.

The apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️

The location is definitely the biggest plus – right in the middle of the CBD and within walking distance of pretty much everything. That said, the downside is the noise. The hotel is on Hindley Street, so if you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to be woken up by people shouting outside. I stayed on the top (4th) floor and could still hear everything, so I can only imagine what the lower floors are like. The building is very old and the windows offer almost no sound insulation. The rooms are also very dated. There’s nothing modern about them, and the furniture and fittings show obvious signs of wear and tear. The shower was another frustration. It takes around 10 minutes to get the water temperature right, and even then it keeps changing between very hot and cold while you’re showering. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth paying around $100 per night. During my stay in Adelaide, I found much better hotels for only $10–20 more per night. If your priority is location and you’re not bothered by noise or older facilities, it might suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a much better experience.

The location is excellent, right in the city center. Everything is within easy reach. Parking is available nearby until 10 a.m. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it perfect for a family trip. The bedding is comfortable and soundproofed. I slept until noon on my first day. The hotel also has a historic cottage, which you need to contact the front desk to unlock. After the tour, you just need to close the door. The hotel also provides toothbrushes, so if you forget, you can ask the front desk for them. They also provide laundry detergent, which is rare in Australia; most hotels cost 3 Australian dollars. Occasionally, the official website offers a lower price than OTAs, and you can choose to order wine, late check-out, or early check-in. Consider the trade-offs.

The location is excellent, right next to the beach where little one can play in the playground. It’s a good spot to see the sun set though. Drive to harbour town is only 6 mins. The apartment has everything we need, I didn’t use the laundry though, as it looks like the washing machine is operated by a couple of coins which I didn’t bother to do😂. I would recommend this place , quiet and family friendly. The only drawback I would say is the floor is a bit too dirty ( properly only be vacuumed) My little one likes running around with bare feet, after she walks around the apartment I can barely see her feet 😜 I didn’t know Launceston street is actually more clean than an apartment floor before.

Great apartment, even better staff Really happy with our stay. The location is spot on — we walked everywhere and got to pretty much all the main attractions without needing a car. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and had everything you need — good kitchen, all the cutlery and amenities sorted. No complaints at all. But honestly, the staff are what made it. I have to admit — I got confused about the deposit and thought they were going to hold $1,000. Completely my mistake. They were incredibly patient and polite when they explained it was actually just $1. I felt a bit silly, but they made me feel totally at ease. That kind of service is hard to find. Sorry for the confusion, and a big thank you to the whole team. You guys are great!

The water ran hot in the showers, just if you’re tall like me, be prepared to contort if you want to get under the stream of water to wash your hair!!

Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.

Okay for the price. Water bottles for the room would have been good. . It’s an American style motel with courtyard parking. Iron Stairs leading up to the rooms are not the cleanest. My bathroom got locked at 11 PM so I had to go get a sharp pin from the reception to open it. Receptionist was a good and happy to help. There was no display of phone no of how yo call reception so o had to walk to the adjoining girl at nigh in the rain.

As mentioned before, the location really depends on where you primarily plan to go. If you're mainly exploring the city center, I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're driving and primarily visiting the Market area, I think it's quite good. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with a large oven and a dishwasher. Very lovely hotel and lovely staff. They called me when my room was ready and didn’t make me wait til check in time. It was very clean and I felt very safe alone in the room. The only thing I would say is that it was a bit out of the main section of the city so I still had to take transport to the city, but that did not phase me at all. Don't miss this gem of a hotel! The balcony view is so amazing, I wanted to set up my camera and take pictures 24/7! Adelaide is a city of ever-changing colors, and during my three-day stay at Alba, I witnessed different sunrises and sunsets every day. The hotel's location is convenient; it's a 20-minute taxi ride to and from the airport, and bus and tram stops are within walking distance, making it easy for those without a car to get around. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and honestly, they're some of the largest rooms I've stayed in in Australia. One even had a balcony – you could practically join an evening poolside party! The hotel staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic. Although it didn't change much each day, the variety was amazing! 😏

There is a massive crack in the foot[ath where we stayed hwich went up to the car park and had lifted part of the concrete, not ideal for a vision impaired person to manipulate, and there were aware I had vision issues amd mobility issues. I had the most enjoyable stay at this place! The sea view apartment definitely worth it, the only down side is that there were plenty of flying insects at the balcony and not advisible to open the blind in the evening. Location close to nearby coles, which is fantastic. Minutes of walk to the street with plenty of eateries. Would definitely go back again next time!
