Great location, staff are friendly and helpful. Doorman, showed excellent service - he was very friendly and made sure we had umbrellas on a a rainy day.
The room was nice and comfortable, and a generous size bed for two. Nice bathroom with bath tub, standing shower and separate toilet. The only pet peeve we had was that the ventilation in the bathroom was not that great, as there was a slight mouldy smell from the bathroom leaking in to the main room.
The gym was small but very good as it had an abundance of equipment. There was filtered water and many apples for a post-workout snack, which was very convenient.
However, all in all it was a pleasant stay and we would not hesitate to visit again, hopefully in a different room.DariMYR 882

My husband and I stayed in Sofitel for 3 nights and everything was honestly 10/10. The staff are excellent - so friendly and helpful. They attended to all our needs. Special shoutout to Nia and Kla for being so friendly :) The place itself is luxurious and all the amenities were fantastic. The buffet was just phenomenal - they had everything you can ask for! One of the best breakfast buffets we have had and we have travelled all over the world. We felt spoilt for choice. We loved our stay here and definitely would highly recommend!! I often travel to Sydney for business and finally found a hotel that meets my standards for cleanliness and convenience! The housekeeping team did an excellent job—the room, carpet, and bedding were spotless, fresh, and comfortable. The king-size bed was great, and there was no damp smell even with weeks of rain in Sydney.
The facilities are a little dated, and I did notice some noise from neighboring rooms and the water pump when showers were running. The bathroom faucet was also dripping, which was a minor inconvenience.

Marriott hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from Circular Quay Station. Many restaurants nearby, but many closes by 8pm. Nearest McDonald’s opens 24hours, located just opposite the train station. Pitt Street Mall is a 15 minutes walk down the street. Shopping malls and supermarkets are located there. Sydney Opera House is also within walking distance from hotel.
Booked 2 rooms, placed request to have both rooms on the same level but they did not accommodate to the request. So we had 2 rooms on 2 levels. Which was quite inconvenient. One of the rooms we were allocated had a bathtub and separate rain shower area. Rooms were of decent size. Pillows were uncomfortable. Right opposite of the hotel was an office building. Opera House is located to the left of the window. Caught a firework show on my last night there as there was an event at the opera house.

Stayed for 13 days at Hyatt Regency Sydney and had a great overall experience. The room was compact but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had a drainage issue in my first room, but the staff handled it promptly and even upgraded me to a room with a lovely view of Darling Harbour – really appreciated that gesture!

I booked a room with a balcony but when I checked in they said it not available coz their system says standard twin room and showed then showers them
My boking when they saw it they said they can’t provide that room on the first night so have to stay in a different room then they said they will bring my bags to the new room but ended up it was in the reception. Booked three rooms in total: 2 rooms with a queen size bed and 1 room with two single beds. The cleanliness of the rooms with queen size bed were not the best– lots of drain flies in one of the bathroom and not the cleanest; view was nice (on the 18th and 23th floor). On the other hand, the cleanliness of the room with two single beds was great and room looked newer for some reason; no view + gloomy at 5th floor. Our living experience in the Hotel was great. The upgrading service in pent house provided a great view of the surrounding areas with a part of Darling Harbour. The house is so big which let us have a very good rest. The facilities in house are sufficient. The room attendant was very helpful and pleasant.
Almost everythings are brilliant, just two things need to improve. One is the drainage and the water supply is not stable in the bathroom. The best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I'll start with the service, as I felt deeply disappointed and unfairly treated during check-in. It was our birthday on August 20th when we arrived. After mentioning this to the receptionist, not only did we not receive even a simple 'Happy Birthday,' but we were also told to buy our own cake from a shop as the hotel offered no special services or gestures. This level of service is utterly inconsistent with what one would expect from a Crown Hotel and left us extremely disappointed! We provided feedback to the front desk during check-out, and while they offered an apology and champagne, it was too little, too late. A birthday only comes once a year, and we were truly let down.
**Facilities:** The hotel feels very new overall. The shower had a handheld showerhead, which is very family-friendly, especially for those with young children (many hotels in Australia don't have these...). The bedding was very comfortable. Disposable toiletries, drinking water, and slippers were provided – a nice touch, as we usually bring our own since many Australian hotels don't offer them.
**Cleanliness:** The room was spotless. The bathtub was clean enough for kids to bathe in, which gave us peace of mind.
**Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining and transportation. It's located next to a casino, so there's a lot of foot traffic. However, room access requires a key card, so we felt secure.DariMYR 886

The room was a really good size. The balcony was at a level where there was no building blocking either the view or afternoon sun - we had to pay extra for this though. The fridge didnt really seem to work, at least the freezer didnt. When putting icecreams in the freezer, they melted, so I turned the dial to cooler and then the fruit in the fridge froze our fruit. We really shouldnt need to adjust settings in the fridge/freezer for them to work. Also the toilet keep running after it flushed. This accommodation isn’t exactly a hotel. The building is shared by other tenants. We were upgraded to a 2 bedded apartment on the 36th floor upon check-in, a newly acquired unit by hotel chain that was recently renovated. As we were the first guests to the unit, we felt like guinea pigs test driving the unit. Unfortunately, we encountered some unpleasant incidents. First, my elderly dad got a small gash from the floating kitchen cabinet shortly settling in (as start of cabinet is just after the entrance). A bumper guard at the corner of the cabinet would have prevented this accident. Second, one afternoon when we got back from to find our unit door ajar. Thankfully our belongings were still intact. Third, housekeeping generally poor. No one cleaned the bathroom throughout our 8 days stay and shower trap was choked. Fourth, one of the room’s curtain couldn’t be drawn entirely so we left it closed throughout. However, one day we came back unit to find the room curtain dislodged after house keeping. Fifth, there were no hangers in the wardrobe at all. Only got them 3 days later after haggling with the reception. Lastly, it was a bummer not being able to access Netflix as the connection was down.
Unpleasant encounters aside, the unit has a beautiful view and is well contained with fridge, washing/dryer machine, dishwashing machine and cooking utensils. Good for long stay. Its location is near South Melbourne Market and accessible by foot to flinders station and the city. Woolsworth supermarket is just a stone throw away + eateries around the vicinity. Was a lovely stay which felt like home! Everything was clean and efficient. Arrived early by noon and was granted check in with a warm welcome of chocolates and a personal note! Enjoyed a high floor on level 18 and late check out till 1pm as Elite Silver member. Would love to return here again next visit as there are tram stops, 3 supermarkets and South Melbourne Market all within walking distance.

The hotel is modern and clean. I am satisfied with the Comfy Room which is spacious and offers a great city view. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is convenient with just few minutes walk from the nearest tram station or about 10-15 minutes walk from Flinders Street Railway Station. When we arrived, we had an issue with our room—the balcony door wouldn’t lock, and the balcony was somewhat accessible from other apartments. Concerned for our belongings, we asked if we could change rooms. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and kindly offered us a free upgrade to a higher-floor, two-bedroom apartment.
Unfortunately, when we arrived at the new room, the second bedroom was locked and inaccessible. We didn’t bother raising it as we hadn’t booked a two-bedroom apartment and didn’t really need the extra space. However, we are starting to feel that the rooms are becoming a bit... dated. There’s often a musty smell when we check in, and this time, we found someone else’s socks in the dryer—after drying some of our own clothes, which wasn’t pleasant.
A little more attention to cleaning between guests and ensuring faults are properly addressed would go a long way. Sadly, this experience has left us considering other accommodation options for our next stay—something we wouldn’t normally do, as the Oaks’ location is fantastic! That said, I want to reiterate that the front desk staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating.DariMYR 442

First of all, the hotel does not have a reception desk. You need to contact the service staff to check in later or soon. If you don't speak English well, do your homework in advance or choose another room.
Geographical environment: 8-10 minutes walk to crown business district (take a 6-year-old child). The Crown business district is full of food, shopping and casinos. There are many supermarkets in the downstairs for a minute or two. You can buy food and cook, and provide daily living supplies. Very convenient.
Room facilities: The hotel is a bit like a homestay. In a comprehensive apartment. You need to swipe the magnetic card to get in and out, which is relatively safe. The overall space is large, but both bedrooms are 1.5 meters small beds. The kitchen has pans, cutlery, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. But there is no seasoning. Cooking a light meal should be OK. Due to the folklore nature, there is no daily cleaning service. There is a swimming pool in the building.
Parking charges, $ 25 a day. Just come in and out. Friends who drive are highly recommended. City parking is too expensive. It's a good deal to take a taxi.
Disadvantages:
1. Give Ctrip. When booking, it was not marked clearly, I thought there was a hotel with a front desk. Stupidly arrived and found out that it was a homestay type. The current homeowner couldn't get through to the phone, and there was no place to stop and jump straight. Later, the host came and said that Ctrip only told us to check in at 5 o'clock, and did not give the host the contact information, so he was not prepared. Check-in at five is my time for Ctrip, but we flew from Brisbane, that is only approximate time. If Ctrip protects my personal privacy, I will not give the owner contact information, but at least I have to contact me Tell me how to check in, let me contact the owner in advance! !!
