Poor experience at Grimsby Premier Inn, was expecting better. I was in Room 126 28-30th November. Early check in taken, was disappointed having to pay an extra £10 but that's life I suppose. Receptionist helpful. Got to room and sorted the bed out only to find the duvet cover had lots of stains on it with what looked like someone's else's blood. I raised this with reception and it was changed straight away, but this put a real dampener on the whole stay. Later on I also discovered the small white towel had small brown speck stains on it, the bathroom floor and bath had hairs on them and then unbelievably I found nail clippings under underneath one of the chairs when I moved it. Even for a budget hotel this is disgusting. I couldn't make any sense of the room heating controls, the display on the radiator didn't work and the thermostat on the wall just wouldn't function at all, the room was baking hot so I ended up switching the radiator off completely and opening the window for the whole stay. Again, this is very low rate. The food was good overall, expensive for what you get, but I was happy with the service in the bar and restaurant. I would question the value of the breakfast, I was under the impression it was ”all you could eat”, but you are served at the table with a set plate of food, if you're a big eater like myself, this takes something away from the experience. I would not stay here again.

I arrived at this hotel after a very long day of travelling, I was greeted cheerfully and checked in very quickly after which I was shown to my lovely large room with an equally large bathroom. The room was spotless, bright, airy and very peaceful. I unpacked and had dinner in the hotel which was lovely with great service and reasonable prices. After dinner I relaxed in my room and had a great nights sleep thanks to the peace and quiet in the hotel. Breakfast the next morning was amazing and cooked to order. Check out was efficient and Gareth had pre-booked me a taxi to take me to my meeting nearby. Thank you Millfields for a great stay.

This hotel has some of the nicest staff you will ever meet. I doubt many guests are there on holiday, mostly business/conference/weddings. We stay here when visiting family nearby - staff are so friendly to all guests, regardless of why they are staying there. Yes, the hotel suffers from a distinct lack of kerb appeal (thank the architects from the 1960’s) but once inside it is very nice. Rooms overlooking golf course, quiet - some with balcony which is a bonus. The food is not haut cuisine but well cooked and a reasonable choice. Breakfast is sometimes buffet style (when hotel is busy) or cooked to order at quieter times. Don’t let the exterior put you off!

Daftar masuk cepat yang bagus dan dengan tempat letak kereta yang selamat Bilik itu bagus dan katilnya sangat selesa. Saya kagum bahawa teh, kopi, susu dan biskut ditinggalkan di luar pintu kami untuk malam kedua kami. Kami makan malam di hotel untuk malam pertama. Ia adalah ok tetapi bahagian adalah kecil. Sarapan pagi berikutnya adalah lebih baik! Dan saya berterima kasih kepada chef kerana menghidangkan tomato panggang segar dan bukannya tomato dalam tin!! Kami memilih hotel ini kerana ia adalah yang paling hampir dengan pusat bandar, ia mempunyai pemandangan Minster yang hebat dan kerana ia menawarkan nilai wang yang hebat. Saya pasti akan mengesyorkannya!!

Booked through a business account, staff at check wasn’t good. Talked over me when asking basic questions, didn’t tell me anything about the restaurant times or breakfast which was pre paid. Had to ask him to check the notes a few times before he listened, still wasn’t helpful after. Booked a double bed but got a room with to singles ( on a one person booking ) room was noisy as it had an a joining door so I could hear the tv in the other room all night.
