Il Tekoma Resort è un po’ come stare a casa.
Abbiamo da subito avuto una comunicazione fantastica con Sophia la ragazza che lavora in reception. È stata gentilissima, sempre pronta a rispondere a tutte le nostre domande con un meraviglioso sorriso.
Ha organizzato il nostro pick up alla stazione dei bus il giorno del nostro arrivo.
La struttura si trova in salita ma hanno il servizio navetta e comunque ci vogliono solo 7 minuti a piedi per scendere in centro e qualche minuto in più per risalire. Molto vicino anche al trail numero 10 e 6.
Mr Chan ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per muoverci in autonomia alle Cameron Highlands.
Ahimè non ricordo il nome del ragazzo del servizio navetta. Anche lui sempre sorridente.
La colazione ottima, sopratutto per chi come me ama il salato (c’è di tutto)
Bollitore in camera e acqua refill a disposizione nei corridoi.
Lo consiglio vivamente.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaHad a great time at this boutique hotel. It’s relatively new and adopt a very interesting design concept. They only have 10 rooms I think. The landscaping around the hotel was really nice. The location of this place is in Tanah Rata, so it’s not as crowded as Brinchang, also it’s not as congested in terms of traffic. You only get one car park per room. It’s situated right at the end of the street, quite secluded and very private.
There’s no one waiting during check in, basically, you text a number and someone comes out to give you keys to your room and ask for breakfast selection for the following morning. All communication was done through the WhatsApp. We also asked for extra towels and shampoo, owners were very courteous and generous.
Felt very safe for my family with young children could just roam around freely. In terms of amenities, there’s no swimming pool or gym facilities. But there’s a place to do bbq and gather in the common area. They give you the auto gate lock if you were to drive out and come back late at night, you can allow yourself in and lock the gate yourself.
In the morning you can hear very loud bird chirping. The air was very fresh! But we were awoken by the loud noise of grass trimming from next door, some government office. There’s also a dormitory next door and you can hear evening prayers.
Nearby, there’s a lot of shops and restaurants whereby you will find no problems settling your meals, about 5 mins walk down to the Main Street.
Just a few things to note :
- There’s a lot of stairs and if you have elderly in your entourage, it is not very convenient getting to the room. You may ask for ground floor rooms of course. The stairs worked super well for my children though, they just enjoyed going up and down so much!
- We booked loft rooms. The toilet and bath tub is located next to the main door. It’s open concept, meaning if you were to take a shower at night or go to toilet, it’s going to be cold.
- The beds are on the top floor, so if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk down the stairs.
- The bathtub and shower design is not so convenient for young children or elderly.
- Breakfast comes in very cute tiffin boxes. They place it outside your door around 8 plus. However, I always couldn’t catch their delivery on time, and most times the food is rather cold already.
Overall, I still enjoyed my stay very much. I think would very suitable for young couples, and groups of young travelers.

PPengguna TetamuThis was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. If you want to stay in a safe and friendly place, DO NOT BOOK HERE. The check-in time is 3:00 but we arrived after 4:00. However, the room we checked into still had the previous guest's towels and there were no new towels in the room. When we asked the receptionist for new towels, she told us they were in the laundry. We checked in after the check-in time, but there were no towels available, so we had to wait for them without being able to shower, which disrupted our schedule. Towels that were provided later were also in very poor condition. The water. The shower hose was terrible for taking a shower. I booked a Suite Room but the shower hose was barely producing any water so I ended up showering using a plastic bowl like the one pictured below. Who knew someone would take a horrible shower in a suite room? The water was hot for a bit, then cold, then hot again for a bit. It was the perfect way to catch a cold in Camerons rainy weather. The lights I couldn't turn off the light in my Suite Room. The light started to flicker and the switch was electrified when I turned it off to go to sleep at 2am. That is really dangerous. If I get electrocuted, who will be responsible? The reception desk was closed and the night staff came to the room, but there was nothing he could do about it. When I went to the reception desk the next day, the reception staff didn't even know what had happened the night before. I can't believe it. The suite room couldn't turn off the light and the switch was electrified. The last thing that was horrible was the reception staff. After all of this had happened, the receptionist was very blunt and I never heard any kind of apology for the inconvenience. She simply called another member of staff and asked me to move to another room, with no intention of explaining or apologising. I don't know why she has to work at the reception desk. This place needs to train its reception staff.

Tidak disyorkan kepada yang memerlukan gaya hidup mewah kerana di sini hanya untuk mereka yang memerlukan tempat tinggal yang damai dengan suasana alam semula jadi yang sangat sangat baik. Kakitangan di sini adalah hebat dari meja depan, pembantu rumah hingga pekerja kasual (orang asing) masing-masing memainkan peranan penting mereka untuk memastikan tetamu/kami dijaga dengan baik cth; untuk memenuhi permintaan khas anda dsb. Sebutan khas kepada Cik Wendy, Cik Ira & seorang lagi gadis di kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Cadangan saya jika anda datang ke sini sila bawa bersama makanan perap anda untuk BBQ pada waktu malam (dengan kos yang berpatutan untuk penyewaan peralatan BBQ) supaya anda boleh menikmati BBQ anda dengan udara segar tetapi sila pastikan kawasan BBQ bersih semasa anda pergi. Jika anda mempunyai lebih ramai orang, anda boleh menempah banglo atau boleh pergi ke bilik individu jika kurang orang. Lokasi yang sempurna, anda boleh pergi ke mana-mana dengan mudah.

The side bed lamp wire its cut off without cover the end wire, the bed headboard loose, window lock broken, room smelly, mattress can feel the coil and my room its really small than others room (G001). Its like maid room. Its not worth i pay with the room i got and the service they given.

PPengguna TetamuKakitangan di hartanah ini menyelamatkan diri daripada tidur di jalanan pada malam pertama kami di Tanah Rata kerana masalah antara hotel yang kami tempah dan ejen (”A” yang besar). Kami berguling kira-kira pukul 10 malam selepas menyeret bagasi kami merentasi bandar. Nota: sukar untuk mencari teksi atau Grab selepas jam 9 malam. Mereka memberi kami bilik untuk bermalam tetapi kami tinggal selama 3 orang. Kakitangannya hebat, terutamanya Elaine, yang memberikan banyak panduan berguna dan juga menganjurkan lawatan motosikal pandu sendiri kami. Dia permata. Hartanah ini tenang dan menyenangkan. Kawasan dan kawasan awam yang baik. Harga kompetitif. Kami mempunyai double dengan en-suite peribadi. Air panas berguna dalam iklim ini. Internet agak tidak boleh dipercayai. Tidak tidur nyenyak tetapi itu kebanyakannya disebabkan oleh perubahan iklim. Bersih dan pasti akan berjaya, terutamanya jika dibandingkan dengan hotel yang dimaksudkan.
