My husband and I wed on Friday, 6 September 2024, and spent the weekend at the Horseshoe Bay Resort on our honeymoon. We arrived in our wedding attire and were treated like royalty. The valet service department was friendly and provided complimentary valet service. Terra at the front desk had champagne delivered to our room with a dark chocolate bar shaped like a horseshoe, and the staff at the bar provided us with an adult beverage on the house. We shared the fried ribeye steak with green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, and country gravy, and it was phenomenal. It was so good that we ordered the same meal for dinner the next day. The next day we ate lunch at the Waterfront Bar and Grill, and it was okay. My husband ordered the Bad Donkey Burnt End Omelet, birria fingerling potatoes, and wheat toast. When they served him his plate, they served him white toast instead of wheat toast. The waiter stated they were out of wheat toast but would bring him some bacon, which my husband agreed to. I ordered the ”BB” two eggs any way, bourbon-maple pepper bacon, miller's breakfast sausage (so good), birria fingerling potatoes with white bread. My husband and I agreed that we didn't care too much for the potatoes. Otherwise, the rest of our meal was good. Thank you for your hospitality. Your team made us feel special and made our stay a relaxing weekend. We will visit again and stay a little longer.
