I literally hate writing reviews, but this one was important for me to do because Modern B&B so exceeded my expectations. Houston was hosting one of their largest conventions, so hotel rooms were an enormous premium. I decided to look further out and came across Modern B&B. The price seemed a bit low, which is usually a clue of something wrong, but I decided that it was because there were common meeting areas. Turns out it is a collection of townhouses, so the common areas are kitchens and living rooms. Lisa, the owner, is simply amazing. She not only upgraded me to a more private room, but invited me to join them socially for two amazing dinners. I met some of the neatest people, ate incredible food, thoroughly enjoyed my time and felt so at home. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. This is a great option both for short and longer term stays. This will be my go-to place in Houston each time I visit and I look forward to doing so again soon.

As I stated on my title this hotel is great for the money you pay and the location is perfect, right off of I-10, there are two big restaurants walking distance right next the hotel. The room was very nice, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Person on front was very polite and helpful, I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

It was an adequate hotel with WiFi and a nearby restaurant, but extremely far from anywhere else. Not great if you are travelling and don't drive.

After a very long day of driving and making it through Dallas, I needed to stop for a few hours sleep. This Econo-Lodge is right off I-35 making it easy to find. I stayed in room 216 upstairs, which if I remember might've faced I-35. The parking lot was well lit, and the grounds typical of an older motel, nothing remarkable. 216 had a king size bed which was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The furniture was old and showed wear, there was nothing fancy or comfortable about the hard plastic chairs. The bathroom wasn't in terrible shape, but the carpet in the room could've used a deep clean. The a/c worked well, and the only real issue I had was the constant traffic noise from I-35.

Super cute place. Very quiet and relaxing. We were in town for a wedding. Wish we could have enjoyed the area more.
