Uns hat es gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer in 7. Etage hatte guten Blick auf die Marienfestung. Altstadt sehr gut fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Auto durfte sicher für 12Euro pro Tag in der Parkgarage stehen. Fast alle MA an Rezeption, alle vom Zimmer- und Frühstücks- Service auffällig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatten ein 2- Bett- Zimmer gebucht, dann ein Doppelbett- Zimmer erhalten. Enttäuscht hat uns das inzwischen geschlossene Fitness- und Wellness- Areal. Wirklich schade und irreführend, dass in den Portalen z.T. in Bild und Schrift damit geworben wird.

Renoviertes Hotel, schöne Zimmer und freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Schönes, modernes Hotel. Sehr freundliche und professionelle Mitarbeiter. Schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten. Leider ging am vergangenen Wochenende die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern nicht und es war vor allem tagsüber und nachts zu warm. Von den Mitarbeitern wurde man nicht auf diesen Missstand hingewiesen. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde erläutert, dass die Klimatisierung nicht funktioniert und nicht repariert werden kann. Wirklich schade, wir haben nur aus diesem Grund das Hotel gebucht. Das Frühstück ist gut, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr engagiert. Die Reinigung der Zimmer könnte besser sein. Schmutzige Gläser wurden nicht entfernt beziehungsweise gesäubert. Leider gibt es in den schönen modernen duschen der Zimmer schon ersten Schimmel. Übrigens: das Hotel ist nicht sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar, für Parkplatz und Tiefgarage muss man bezahlen.

This is a convenient hotel right downtown and near cafes and restaurants. it is a 15 minute walk to see the palace, and 15 minutes in another direction to get to the train station. If arriving by train with your luggage, it is best to hire a cab for the ride to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although ours was dark. They give you free coffee and water every day, and that's a plus because breakfast is 20 euro a person per day. You can buy something from a nearby cafe and use the coffee maker to get a start on the day more quickly. The front desk is exceptionally friendly and ready to help call a cab or assist with travel plans.

Hotel has reliable a/c — quiet and easy to operate. Good wifi signal (but I was on the first floor). Room felt really cramped and poorly designed but stylish in look. Hard mattress, soft pillow, big screen tv with wide channel variety. Toilets also conservative with superior water pressure and hot water but shower barrier too short to prevent water spraying onto the floor. Super-slippery bath tub but holding bar present. Hand towel rungs also located lower than expected. Only a 5 minute walk to the Alte Mainbrücke (old bridge) [maybe 10 if you are slow walker]. Kind service at reception, who held onto our luggage for free while we explored the town. Make sure keycards aren’t near your mobile phones or they won’t work. Short tram ride to train station (10 mins or 4 stops on #2) or ＜20 min. walk. Very clean rooms/ hotel and good insulated walls — did not hear neighbours. Would pay extra to get larger room if travelling with other. Make sure you hang card on door knob to ask your room to be cleaned — this does not happen otherwise.

Die zentrale Lage ist der größe Vorteil und leider auch der größe Nachteil. Der Verkehr auf der Ringstraße vor der Tür ist wirklich viel. Bei geschlossenden Fenstern ist das kein Problem, bei offenen Fenster schlafen geht gar nicht. Dafür ist es in die Altstadt oder zum Hauptbahnhof (mit den dahinterliegenden Weinbergen) nur über die Straße. Das Zimmer/Bad erschien uns frisch renoviert und eingerichtet. Das Bett hatte eine neue Matratze. Insgesammt hat das Cityhotel eine saubere, helle und freundliche Ausstrahlung. Auch beim Empfang wurde wir aufgeschlossen und hilfbereit begrüßt.

I find the hotel is located nearer to a tram stop and availability of public transport is excellent 24x7. On the rooms, they are surprisingly large with amenities like coffee maker, where you can brew own espresso or coffee. For family and business visits, this is excellent with nice breakfast at a nominal price. I would recommend this for all
