Firstly, we found the staff to be pleasant however this is a very poor 3 star hotel. It needs modernisation. The location is not great if you are a tourist who wants to explore the local area of Deauville because you will need your car for this. However, if your business is horses then you are right in the middle of this farming industry.

tres bien situe,vous pouvez tout faire à pieds en venant en train nous avons sejourne en duplex,2tv 2 salle de bains, très joli déco le seul bémol a l'etage du haut la machinerie ascenseur est tres bruyante ,heureusement qu'elle ne fonctionne pas trop la nuit le petit dejeuner exceptionnelle pour un ibis style le personnel serviable et sympathique

Great location right by the marina and good access to local restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and attentive. Parking available at cost but small car park. Maybe worth booking in advance if that’s possible. Breakfast was good selection including on one day, a hot breakfast. All food regularly replenished. Rooms well equipped and good size with good air con. Slept well in comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommend.

Our stay in Normandy was wonderful. The rooms are spacious ( The rooms with sea view are especially splendid!), the building itself is very impressive, the halls are unusually large - the building breathes history and has elegant ambiance. Service was very good, with concierge, valet parking, room service. We also used steaming/ironing services for a large overnight order (for wedding party) and all was done well and on time. The location is perfect, close to the beach, the center and all the shops. Also nice addition is cute bicycles available to guests to explore the city. The only issue was when a group of friends all staying in the hotel came for a late night cocktail. First we were told there were no tables (when in fact there were), then when we finally got seated there was an argument with the waiters. Not a deal breaker but unpleasant experience for a 5 star hotel. Overall I would stay here again, 100%.

Nous venions pour un evenement sportif nous obligeant à prendre notre déjeuner tôt le matin (7h). L'accueil nous informe que pour le dimanche c'est 7h30 et cerise sur le gateau que nous sommes obligés de le payer mémé si nous ne le prenons pas car nous l'avions indiqué en option dans la reservation. Le lendemain quand nous préparons les voitures à 7h15 nous constatons que la salle du petit déjeuner est ouverte. A la demande de nombreux participants à la course, il avait finalement avancé l'heure du pdj mais sans prévenir, aucune affichette, rien....

My husband and I began our road trip by sailing over from the UK to Cherborug. We found this beauty of a hotel, as our first stop. A 2 hour drive from Cherbourg, we were greeted by friendly reception staff, who helped us park in their secure car park. The hotel had reserved us a space ready. (Cost €24 per day). They were very speedy on replying to messages. The hotel itself is beautiful. We got a room with a terrace, overlooking the gardens. A 5 minute walk to restaurants & bars. Great atmosphere and was lovely to sit near the water fountain with a drink and dinner. We also walked to the beach front (bar de Soleil was fabulous) which took us about 10-15 minutes. Hotel very clean and quiet. Bed comfortable - we both slept great! A lovey touch with complimentary water, juice & fizzy drink in our mini fridge. A perfect start to our holiday. Just gutted we didn’t stay another night! Would highly recommend. Thank you!
