At checkout they tried to charge us for the breakfast which is included in the room rate. When we complained, the took it off the bill and apologized for the delay. They did not apologize for the attempted fraud. Many people here write that the place is for nature lovers who want a quiet place. I have no idea why they write this. At the pool they play music at you in the volume of a dance hall. In the evening they show an action movie full blast. If you can't follow the story line, don't worry. It has none. It is all about the shootings and explosions. In your room there is no escape from the music either. They play 'background' music in the corridors at a volume that you just have to listen to it, like it or not. But here they are not entirely true to their own concept. It's not loud enough to dance. That they have a Coca Cola warehouse on the premises with trucks coming and going doesn't make it any better. And the neighboring sawmill also contributes to the acoustic background. The only positive points are the quality of the food and the comfortable and clean rooms.

Staff were accommodating and helpful. Facilities were okay. Location is good, within the city center. will book again in the future.

I was able to have my first booked room in a resort experience here at San Antonio Resort last 2019. Me and my friends got a room with 2 beds. We chose that room since it has its own little veranda where you can spend a snack or a cup of coffee. The room is facing tall trees of coconut. It also gives you a fresh ocean salty breeze since the Baybay beach is just across the road. We didn't stay much in the room since we chose to walk around. The resort has a lake where you can rent a boat and paddle on your own. The pool is also by the lake, which is a great view. We had enjoyed the night swimming. The next morning, we had a great buffet breakfast. Staffs are friendly and nice. Although places like this is a great venue for relaxation, it still has a lot to improve. Now, the resort has built a new building and new rooms and longer pool area, which I hope I can visit and stay soon.

My husband and I recently completed a 3 day/ 2 night stay at Espacio Verde Resort in Roxas City, Capiz. The resort has 23 garden villas (either garden or lagoon view). We booked a Garden View room that had 2 queen beds. Pluses were: friendly and accommodating staff; excellent Customer Service; free airport transfer; spacious room; good air conditioning; large bathroom with walk-in shower area; comfortable beds. Although the room furniture was dated, room was clean and housekeeping provided fresh towels daily. I found the lighting in the room too dim; my personal preference are bright lights. The WiFi was often spotty and would intermittently disconnect. Our reservation came with breakfast included. On the first day, we had a buffet breakfast; however on the succeeding days, we were given the ala carte menu. Staff explained that depending on the number of guests booked, breakfast switched from buffet to ala carte. My only comment on this was with the Ala carte option, the guest could only have one free cup of coffee. There is a charge for refills. The resort has two restaurants: Abuelo, the main dining room; and Aquatico, the poolside menu. Poolside menu had more options; and hotel guests could order from either menu. The hotel manager referred us to a tour company Circulo Travel that drove us around Roxas City. We were able to visit the Sacred Heart of Jesus Shrine; the Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral; Santa Monica Parish Church with the largest 19th Century bell; Roxas Heritage House on the first day; ended with a late lunch at Coco Veranda; followed by coffee and dessert at Cafe Terraza. The second day was a trip to the Banica Dried Fish Center followed by lunch at Almax Seafood restaurant along Baybay Beach and dessert and coffee at Jacque’s Coffee and Chills (same street as Almax). Thumbs up for Espacio Verde Resort.

This is one of the two hotels in Roxas City allowed to operate in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, I expected it to be really clean, but it was not. There were small cockroaches on the bedside console and the shower room stank of urine. It's a good thing they allowed me to change room. As to the rooms, they were equipped with basic facilities ... bed, console, TV set, airconditioning, private toilet and shower room, phone, etc. Water pressure was okay, as well as the heating system. However, the walls were quite thin and you can hear all the noises from the adjacent rooms. The linens (bed sheet and towels) were also not very clean. The common areas, specifically the lobby and the outdoor café, on the other hand, looked very nice. There's also a small restaurant near the main entrance. There's a small parking space for hotel guests, too. WIFI is available in the rooms, but sometimes it is weak. This hotel is budget-friendly. Rate for standard rooms varies from Php 1,100 to Php 1,300. Executive and suite rooms cost Php 5,000 and Php 6,500 respectively. All in all this hotel is okay, but don't expect it to be immaculately clean. Hotel personnel is also very limited on Sundays, forcing the security guard to do multi-tasking.

Rooms are bigger than other hotels, thick mattress, and peaceful environment. But, no fridge and kettle. also the hot water was not functioning when we check in.

It was beyond my expectation. I didn't realize it would be a comfy stay. Bathroom, bed and other facilities surprisingly appeared clean and comfy for a budget hotel. Staff were also friendly and accomodating. I would certainly recommend this place to others looking for a budget friendly yet clean and decent place to stay while in Roxas.

unfortunately the family room the we are supposed to stay the aircon broke down, we are given a room with queensize bed and additional bedfoam placed on the floor. the wifi is good.

Room and hallways before room were not well maintained. Luckily they allowed transfer to sister hotel.

It is located on the riverfront in walking distance from City Hall. The check in was smooth. The fan room was very basic but clean with shower ensuite. The wifi works in room. In the hotel garden, there were a lot of beautiful trees and flowers. Overall, I recommend Pete's Inn.
