Asrama di Chiang Rai

Stayed in room 208 for 4 nights. The check in process was straightforward with only admin being a signature and payment to be dealt with. I paid in cash, but you can also pay with a card for an extra 3%. Being a poshtel, the only shared parts were the common areas, kitchen and bathrooms. There were common areas by landing on each floor and these were really nice places just to chill out. I think there was also an attached restaurant or cafe but I never saw anyone in there and I never went in either. My room had a bed, a chair, AC and a fan. The mattress was very firm even by Asian standards. It was definitely firmer than I'm accustomed to and some people will find it rock hard. There is a small table, but it's more like a ledge so it's difficult to work on unless you have e.g. a small laptop. There’s an electrical point by the table, but the bed is located so far that the hostel has provided an extension cord. There's also a bin and laundry basket in your room. Staff will clean and tidy up your room every morning as well as providing a bottle of water every day of your stay. Otherwise, the room is quite small and you wouldn't want to spend your free time in there. My room was on the 2nd floor. There were three toilets and three showers. There was no trouble getting warm or hot water from the showers. The one shared kitchen was also on the second floor. This had a large table with eight chairs, a microwave, plates, utensils and free water. All of the common areas were cleaned regularly. Although the bathroom was generally very clean, some of the silicone had mould. Nothing scary though. There were two super fast computers near the kitchen. I'm sure these would’ve been useful 10 years ago when smartphones weren’t as ubiquitous. Location wise the hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre of town but everything else is close by including bars, restaurants, cafes and massage places. The night market and clock tower are about a 5 minute walk. Overall I had a fantastic stay, the front office and staff are friendly, and do a great job. The reception area has brochures for tourists and the front office can also arrange these for guests. The rooms do have a quirky design but nothing that would make you want to leave. The location is excellent with everything you need close by. I would happily stay here again or recommend it to anyone staying in Chiang Mai.

Miejsce super, spoko, tanie. Tylko wyboru warzyw brakuje przy sniadania. Sa banany, maslo chleb slodki tostowy i 2 jajka. Wiec tak srednio zdrowe tym bardziej pieczywo tostowe. Ale hostel jak najbardziej pozytywnie.

Auberge au top du top, hyper propre, petit déjeuner délicieux et fait maison, hôte (Mat) bienveillant et attentif aux voyageurs, il donne pleins de conseils ! L’auberge est super bien située, près de tout. Clim, serviette de bain, casiers fermés, livres, télé à disposition avec Netflix, shampoing et gel douche, espace commun avec canapés et cuisine, lits confortables….. Rien à dire, Mat gagne à être connu !

Lovely location, great friendly staff, breakfast is good. Building interior and furnishing is amazing. Would say 5 stars BUT...and only applicableb to 3 rooms at front. These overlook main road nr a traffic intersection and noise is unbearable, all night car/bikes revving up as they pull away from the lights. Light sleepers beware I had to take zopiclone to knock me out. Other rooms will be OK I expect and the whole place is such a great atmosphere

A very nice hotel. Cozy and quiet. It is not in the center of the town. However if you have a bike it is very convenient. Exterior is great, rooms are nice and clean too. There are ants in rooms tho.

Stayed here for four nights while touring Chiang Rai and it was a good choice. Great location near city centre, friendly staff. Not far from main bus station and a decent night's sleep could also be had. Air con private room for us as the heat was strong during this time. Free tea and coffee in the communal kitchen. Snacks and biscuits too but they are not that great. There's a shared fridge although I had my own in the room with TV and decent bathroom. There is a meagre pool which a few people paddled in due to its low water but it's the wrong time of year to be fair. Tourist maps were free but quite useless to be honest, other info on the noticeboards was more helpful. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful too with friendly advice. I'd advise staying here. Plenty of young travellers use the dorms and communal lounge with a pool table, free WiFi etc. Older travellers will not be disappointed with the rooms. Khawp Khun krup!

Das wohl sauberste Hostel in dem ich bisher war. Im ganzen Hostel waren Schuhe verboten, alle WC‘s und Duschen wurden regelmäßig gereinigt. Es gab ein Bereich indem einem Kekse, Wasser, Tee und Kaffee kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Lage war echt super, direkt am Hostel waren viele Restaurants und Bars, der nightmarket sowie der Busbahnhof waren keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Ich war super zufrieden und kann es jeden empfehlen der Chiang Rai besucht. 10 von 10 👌👍

we are finishing up a month in Thailand and have stayed at a dozen places. Everyone has always been very nice, but at Connect Hostel, the entire staff is absolutely awesome. They are always smiling, always doing things to help that you didn’t even ask for but they saw could be helpful for you (like calling around to find you transportation options that you didn’t even ask for, ordering new kids helmets for riding scooters since they didn’t have them, again without even asking). They just genuinely want to run a place that takes care of the people that stay with them and I don’t know what else you would want! Other perks- very clean, water machines with filtered cold water, pancake machine in the morning, very stable good internet connection throughout, super safe locked building at night, plenty of common areas to do work, laundry machines on site, 10 minute walk to bus station!

Ik ben vandaag gearriveerd in dit hostel. Het is een prachtig hostel met mooie faciliteiten en alles is nieuw en goed onderhouden. Het meisje achter de balie was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Hostel is gelegen direct naast het busstation en de sunday night market in het centrum dus ook de locatie is perfect. Goed werkende airco en comfortabele bedden. Ook is er een keukentje met koelkast waar je spullen kan neerzetten. Zou dit hostel 100% aanraden.
