PPengguna TetamuThe hotel was great,the employees were helpful very friendly. Very knowledgeable of the area,eventhough our visit was to go to a comedy show we are also looking to move there and the front desk staff helped us out by getting us some great information about the area. We will definitely stay there again.

PPengguna TetamuBy Far The Worst Hotel I'VE Seen. Walked In, Walked out. Girl passed out at the top of steps. Door busted in. Blood and burnholes on sheets and some type of crusty substance on bedspread. The air unit was leaking and I used a towel to wipe it up, as you can see in the pictures, the floor was black. There was toilet paper crammed into the peephole because it had been knocked out and was no longer there. The bathroom door had been kicked in so hard it had split and the wood was coming through. It would not close. At the bottom of the stairs were 2 more homeless people with backpacks, food, drinks and carrying a portable TV. I stepped over the passed out girl twice and she never moved. I was beginning to wonder if she had overdosed but I didn't want to get involved. In the parking lot I was approached twice by people asking for money. I got into my car and called Red Roof guest relations. I explained my situation and that I was afraid to stay there alone for 2 nights. I asked if she could simply move me to the Lookout Mountain location. I explained I completely understand there would be a price increase and I would happily pay the difference even though I felt I should not have too. She told me she could not help me I had checked in. I told her I went in looked at the disgusting room and street people and came back out. I also explained to her it was my understanding that as a redirewards member I had until 4pm to cancel or change my reservation. She said not if you have went into the room. I needed to go back to the front desk. I told her I was scared to be there and since she did not want to help me in anyway I would get in touch.with Chase bank and let them get involved. I immediately called my credit card company who advised me to leave the keys in room and leave, not to stay if I felt threatened. I was there with my chihuahua and I don't mean to sound pretentious, but I drive a Mercedes convertible and I really did not think it would be there if I spent the night there. My husband and I have worked hard for what we have so the people asking for money was ridiculous. I read reviews and most of the time take them with a grain of salt. There are people that will never be satisfied no matter what. I have exaggerated nothing in this review. If you have any other option at all, take it. Do not stay here. Also....the pics of the rooms on this site, ********** and Red Roof website are all fake. Nothing looks like any of these pic as you can see by mine.

PPengguna TetamuHotel was clean. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked great. One light in bathroom was burned out, but no big deal, it was just an overnight stay. Had a full tasty breakfast. Had amenities close by. Logan's steakhouse, China buffet, and Walmart across the street. Cracker Barrell and Waffle House right around the corner. 10 minutes from downtown and other attractions. Friendly staff, would stay again.
