Booked a corner room with view on both sides making the room even more spacious for 2 adults and 1 kid. Car park could be found easily with lift direct accessible from the hotel. Lobby was decorated very beautiful with polite welcoming staff. Regulating the use of washing machines could be better as most guests did not get back their clothing on time but overall this is a place where we will consider again definitely. Fully recommended. Book earlier as it gets full quickly during peak seasons.

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

A traditional onsen hotel, recently renovated and facilities modernised. The twin bed room is large - about 50 sq m in size. In addition, there is a balcony overlooking an excellent view. The breakfast and dinner buffet are fine, though not very special. I like the Japanese style dinner better. The hotel is situated inside the mountain. Access is not easy. There are no shops nearby.

구마모토역 바로 앞이라 기차를 타고 다른 도시로의 이동뿐아니라 시내의 이동에도 무척 편리했습니다. 또한, 역 바로 옆에 쇼핑센터, 마트, 식당 등이 있어 생활수품과 음료수를 사거나 식사를 하는데 불편이 없었습니다. 호텔 시설들 또한 깨끗하고 종업원들도 무척 친절했습니다. 호텔의 식당은 넓고 깨끗하고 큰 통유리창이 있어 무척 밝았으며, 떠오르는 아침 해를 바라보며 상쾌한 기분으로 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 식사 메뉴는 뷔페식이었는데 화려하지는 않았지만, 있을 것은 다 있는 그런대로 괜찮았습니다. 조금 아쉬웠던 부분은 욕실 공간이 너무 좁다는 것입니다.

黒川温泉の中心地にり、近くにお土産屋、黒川地蔵尊あります。 古い建物のようですが、掃除も行き届いてとても清潔でした。 予約不要で利用できる家族風呂がたくさんあったため、その日は満室でしたが、幾つも入ることができました。 全てのお湯に入ろうと思ってましたが、お風呂多すぎて無理でした。 料理は赤牛の鎌焼きに馬刺にと大変ボリュームがあり、大満足しました。 そのほか、廊下には麦茶が用意されており、部屋にはコーヒーマシンも用意されており、自由に飲むことができました。 お部屋に置いてあった手作りのお菓子もとてもおいしかったです。 スタッフの方の対応もとても良く、また、価格もそこまで高くなく、全てに満足しました。また利用したいと思いました。

洋室の部屋は、ゴルフ場と、雄大な阿蘇外輪山を望む高原で、良い展望でした。部屋にはソファ、椅子とテーブル、セミダブルベッド2つで、快適でした。 実はゴルフリゾートの大浴場なので、お風呂はあまり期待してなかったのです。ところが、温泉は源泉掛け流しで、内風呂も、4つの露天風呂(含む樽風呂2)も全てが源泉掛け流しで、少し茶色の温泉でいい湯でした。11時チェックアウトなのにお風呂が朝9時までが少し残念でした。 食事はレストランにて、和洋ニ種類の前菜と、お作りと温鉢でした。後半は柔らかい熊本産牛とシーフードの陶板焼き、高菜ご飯と味噌汁、美味しいデザートで、夕食は良かったです。また食事係の方が親切で丁寧な接客でした。 朝食はゴルフリゾートのためか、ボリュームある朝食でした。 チェックアウト後に、ロビーのくまモンと写真を撮ろうとしていたら、スタッフの方が、阿蘇の外輪山の景色が良いところで撮れば良いですよと、大きなくまモンをカートで外まで運んでくれました。 おかげさまで、阿蘇の山々とくまモンと共に、素敵な家族写真を撮る事ができました。親切な心遣いが、とても嬉しかったです。

The Manager and staff were amazing and so helpful - Probably the best service we had all trip from 7 different stays. We had the dining experience and not only was the food wonderful, they even change our food when we said we were scared of trying the Horse & Chicken Sashimi. The view from the in-room onsen was brilliant. If you want to be critical then its a 10min walk to the village centre but thats why we choose this Hotel plus we just drove to the village centre - so simple. To the Manager - Please thank your staff for making our stay here an amazing one.

熊本に居る長男家族4人と宿泊、熊本に住んで6年ぐらいになるのに黒川温泉に泊まった事がないそうで、わざわざ埼玉から費用全額当方負担で孫孝行しました、、何のことやら(笑) 宿は、黒川温泉では大型旅館でしたが、温泉は夕方4時と夜8時と翌日朝7時に入ったのですが何故かほぼ独占状態、竹林に囲まれた大きな内風呂、檜風呂二つと露天風呂、立ち寄り客も入れる露天風呂付き温泉の3ヶ所あり、2番目が1番良かったかな、泉質は単純泉 部屋は普通の和室だけど、横を流れる川から滝の音が聞こえていい感じ、食事はバイキングで 夕食の赤酢のマグロ寿司が絶品、後は、串揚げ各種とかカンパチ刺身、ローストビーフ、小学校の孫は鰻を5巻食べて食べ過ぎ状態、、ドリンクが飲み放題で焼酎の飲み比べが出来た！　黒川温泉の焼酎美味かったなー、朝食もバイキングで納豆と牛乳が地元産で美味かった 夜は天体望遠鏡で木星と月を見せて貰いました、孫は感動！ 街中散策は寒さでやらず、宿に留まっただけだけどゆっくり出来ました 家族連れで楽しめる宿と思います

（５段階評価です）　 立地　４ ホテル駐車場は800円ですが、少し歩くと安いのがありました 清潔感　３ 古いですが小綺麗でした 広さ　３ ベッドはシングルサイズで小さかったです。枕は薄かったです 浴室　３ ８階でしたがシャワー圧よかったです 朝食　４ 6:30〜種類多めなバイキングで満足しました Wi-Fi ３ 下り３７上り１３で快適でした。

전형적인 캡술 호텔이었습니다 개인 락커가 작아서 캐리어가 안들어가서 도난의 불안이 있기도 했지만 아무 일도 없었어요 락커와 침실이 층수차이가 있어서 왔다갔다를 좀 많이 했네요 위치는 구마모토역에서 꽤 멀었어요 저는 택시 이용했지만 걸어서 30분 이상나오고 택시비는 1100엔정도 나옵니다 위치가 역에서 멀지 번화가에 있어서 관광자체는 좋았습니다 단점은 아무래도 캡술 호텔이다보니 더웠어요 에어컨은 복도에 있고 다른 사람때문에 캡슐에 누워 천막을 내리다 보니 어쩔 수 없었겠죠

別料金で大浴場のお風呂をお願いしました。サウナ、水風呂やリクライニングチェアも付いていて、とてもリラックス出来る空間でした。飲料水も準備されていて、疲れた体を癒せました。お湯の温度もちょうど良かったです。 部屋は小さめでしたが、水前寺公園が近く徒歩で散策できました。スタッフの方々の対応もとても丁寧で親切でした。

距離熊本市中心約25分鐘車程，但天晚了街道較黑暗，如果有時間早點入住較好。 傳統温泉酒店，大堂、房間都很寬敞，但設計風格較舊式，最重要的電製叉電位置少，要移走枱燈的才夠用； 是次入住特別雙人房高層，好大間，沙發放在中間都仲有大把空間走動； 浴室亦十分大，有圓形浴缸，有温泉水可供浸浴； 早上醒來，還有日出觀賞🤩 到酒店的温泉風呂，要先經過大堂，再行到另一邊；不知是否太夜，入去沖洗完，其他人都浸完，可以獨自享受風呂，正！ 風呂開放至晚上十二時。 自助早餐應有盡有，蔬菜、水果都很新鮮，服務員親切友善。

한적한 시골인 우에키마을에 위치한 조용한 료칸. 구마모토역에서 약 1시간, 걸어서 20분. 거리가 좀 멀다고 느낄수있지만 1박2일로 묵으며 힐링을 하기에는 더없이 좋은장소이다. 프라이빗 온천방이 무려 4개가있으며, 평일에 가면 전세내고 사용할수있다고 보면된다. 석식, 조식도 맛있으며 료칸 치고는 가격도 저렴하고, 직원들도 친절했다.

やまなみハイウェイを別府方面にひた走り、瀬の本レストハウスがある国道442号線との交差点から黒川温泉方面である左に曲がる。数年前から国道442号線は新しい道に変わっており、道幅に余裕があって走行しやすい。今回の宿は「旅館わかば」。GoToトラベルで宿泊客が多いようで無料駐車場に停めるスペースがないのでキーをフロントの方に預ける。 夜御飯は部屋食。座席に座りドリンクメニューを見ると、ジンジャーを使った飲み物が美味しそうである。仲居さんが来られた際にアルコールが一番少ないとされる「ジンジャー甘酒」を注文。料理も手順良く運んでくれます。特上霜降り馬刺しや熊本味彩牛・肥後の赤鶏等、熊本ならではの料理が美味しい。ただ部屋での焼肉は服に臭いが付いてしまう。 朝食は通常だと1階の広間が朝食会場になりますが、コロナウイルス感染拡大防止の為に各部屋での弁当になっている。お米は七城米を使用した釜で炊きあげられたごはんで、おかずは「小国郷の六品」に七城米の御飯とまいたけと南関揚げのお味噌汁という美味しい朝御飯。 宿の方は気さくで対応がよく温泉も気持ちがよく良かったです。

This hotel is the best hotel that we stayed in on this trip . The onsen has an outdoor onsen that is truly beautiful overlooking the hills and valley of mount Aso. You need to walk about 50 m from the hotel to reach there . We had twin beds in the newly refurbished wing and everything was clean and new . Wifi was good . Temperature control good . Bathroom was adequately big with good water pressure . There was water dispenser and ice dispenser as well near the lifts . What made the stay special was the star gazing activity at night . Although we did not understand Japanese , the guide had a cool laser light that he pointed at the sky to point out the stars . We loved this activity . Food wise - lots of variety and very refined . Loved the delicious dinner and breakfast . What was lovely was the free flow of alcohol , juices and soft drinks throughout dinner . Will definitely stay here again .

Ryokan con onsen espectacular. La atención es inmejorable desde que te acercas al hotel con una persona en la entrada indicándote donde aparcar, recepción atentísima que te explican todo y te acompañan a la habitación, con servicio de té y dulces nada más llegar. Baños al aire libre preciosos. Cena y desayuno en comedor privado y mientras estás comiendo te preparan/recogen los futones y la habitación. Hermanado con otros ryokan para probar otros baños, pero sinceramente tiene los más agradables. En la despedida, te sorprenden con los zapatos que diste al llegar calentitos que se agradece en días fríos.

This is a typical traditional Ryokan, so the rooms do not come with showers, and some rooms come with ensuite WC (toilet, not bathroom). But good news for those who do not like getting naked in front of strangers in an onsen - you can reserve private onsen (family onsen) rooms (an hour only), where you can soak and bathe, in private and with your loved ones. But note, you need to reserve and they are not always available. Having said that, if you want the full-on Japanese Ryokan experience, you can do it here. The half-board (dinner and breakfast) package is not cheap at all, but you do get the sleep-on-futons, sliding Japanese doors in room, water garden view, tatami etc. experience, with dinner and breakfast cooked with seasonal ingredients. We did not really undersand our meal courses (dinner and breakfast), and they were not exactly sumptous (although you will have a full stomach at the end) and delectable. And we had a better experience earlier in another Ryokan some time back. But again, if this is going to be your first-time Ryokan experience, then go for it. I would recommend staying in a hotel if you have been there and done that with Ryokans.

Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Free pick-up service from the bus stop. As we arrived before check-in time, the driver dropped us at the main street and showed us where to eat and how to walk back to ryokan. The ryokan kindly offered us early check-in. Luggages were in the room already when we arrived. Front desk staff explained everything clearly. We could only book the private onsen once. Private onsen number one is a bit small, and the water was not hot enough, but the view is pretty with a small garden and rock mountain. I love the large outdoor onsen (for hotel guests only). Water was hot. Beutiful environment and great atmosphere. Changing room was clean and spacious. The smaller outdoor onsen is for public. Room was a bit old and simple, but it came with a cute balcony which I didn't expect. Food was great. Dinner was served in room, and breakfast was served in breakfast room. Overall a great ryokan experience.

日帰り貸切風呂利用のみでお邪魔しました。２名で４５分２０００円。 他の旅館が３時には日帰り貸切風呂を締め切る中、夕方でも利用できました。ただ、日帰りの貸切風呂は予約ができないので、空いていれば入れます。普通の内風呂は予約無しでも湯めぐりができます。 貸切風呂の脱衣場にはクレンジングオイルから乳液まで揃っていて、まさに手ぶらで入れます。タオルは持参しましたが、レンタルか販売がありそうです。 女将さんと思われる方がとても丁寧ですし、館内も手入れされた感じが伝わる旅館で、宿泊でも利用したいと思いました。 駐車場は日帰りだと利用できないので、近くの共同無料駐車場に停めました。

2022年4月11日、この日は九龍（くーろん）でランチを済ませた。 そこから車で、熊本市のシェルパで買い物を済ませ、車で県道36号線を進む。阿蘇山の外輪山を登っていく。展望所(大峯山と高遊原台地)に到着。 ここから熊本市街を見下ろすことができる。この展望所は「大峯山と高遊原台地」といい、外輪山の溶岩台地を一望できる、はずだったが、あいにくのお天気(汗；) メタセコイアの並木を抜けていく。この日宿泊するホテルグリーンピア南阿蘇に到着。駐車場はとても広い。ホテルグリーンピア南阿蘇は、熊本県阿蘇郡南阿蘇村久石（くまもとけんあそぐんみなみあそむらひさいし）にあるホテルだ。玄関に銅像が建っていた。館内はこんな感じ。ロビーは広い。この日は3階の部屋で、エレベーターで移動する。エレベーターを降りてから、部屋まで遠すぎる(汗；)大型ホテルは、これが嫌いだ。遠い。 お約束の「鍵が開かないおばあ」ツインルームで、エクストラベッドも設置されている。窓からの景色はこんな感じ。我々が泊まった中では、屈指の眺望のいい部屋だ（苦笑）冷蔵庫。テレビと湯沸かし器。クローゼットの中に金庫。洗面台。トイレは温水便座。大浴場に行くのでたぶん使わないが、バスタブもある。wifiが「熊本フリーwifi」でメールアドレスを登録しないといけないのは、面倒くさい。ここは楽天モバイルの圏内で、35Mbpsで接続できた。 風呂はこの景色を見ながら入れる露天風呂が最高。泉質は無色透明で、温泉らしさはなかった。夕食は、レストラン。バイキング形式で思ったよりいろいろあった。ただ一番安いコースだったので「メイン料理のないバイキング」になってしまった(汗；)ツレはカレーライスをメインとしていた。デザートでお腹を張らした（笑） 翌朝、朝食会場には既に行列ができていた。朝食もバイキング形式。おばあは俺以上にガッツリ（笑）さらに2度目は洋食で（笑）この日は阿蘇の外輪山をハイキングしてきた。ホテルグリーンピア南阿蘇に連泊だ。部屋から中岳の噴煙が見えた。6時になったので、夕食会場に向かう。この日は、俺はカレーライスをメインに取ってみた。おばあは蕎麦をメインにした。翌朝、チェックアウトし、車で先に進んだ。 ホテルグリーンピア南阿蘇 熊本県阿蘇郡南阿蘇村久石４４１１−９ 0967-67-2131

洋室の部屋は、ゴルフ場と、雄大な阿蘇外輪山を望む高原で、良い展望でした。部屋にはソファ、椅子とテーブル、セミダブルベッド2つで、快適でした。 実はゴルフリゾートの大浴場なので、お風呂はあまり期待してなかったのです。ところが、温泉は源泉掛け流しで、内風呂も、4つの露天風呂(含む樽風呂2)も全てが源泉掛け流しで、少し茶色の温泉でいい湯でした。11時チェックアウトなのにお風呂が朝9時までが少し残念でした。 食事はレストランにて、和洋ニ種類の前菜と、お作りと温鉢でした。後半は柔らかい熊本産牛とシーフードの陶板焼き、高菜ご飯と味噌汁、美味しいデザートで、夕食は良かったです。また食事係の方が親切で丁寧な接客でした。 朝食はゴルフリゾートのためか、ボリュームある朝食でした。 チェックアウト後に、ロビーのくまモンと写真を撮ろうとしていたら、スタッフの方が、阿蘇の外輪山の景色が良いところで撮れば良いですよと、大きなくまモンをカートで外まで運んでくれました。 おかげさまで、阿蘇の山々とくまモンと共に、素敵な家族写真を撮る事ができました。親切な心遣いが、とても嬉しかったです。

Overall, we had an amazing night here, with several onsen sessions, an amazing dinner experience, and a delicious (and very fulfilling) breakfast! We went for a night at Sozankyo in the FURUSATO room, which included a private onsen outdoors on the balcony. During the evening, we booked sessions for the two other private baths that were available, but we must say that the private bath in the room was definitely the best. In fact, when it started raining in the evening, the experience became even better as we could sit in the bath (under a roof) listening to the rain pouring down. The dinner experience (we went for the full course) was amazing, and the host was very kind and helpful. The dinner room had a great view of the garden outdoor, which added to the mood of the meal. When we checked out the next day, it rained so much that the train down to Kumamoto had been canceled... However, as we had to make our train from Kumamoto around noon, the staff helped us book a taxi. Outside the rainy season, departing is probably much easier! Would recommend this to everyone, however try to not go in the rainy season unless you can pay for a taxi!

Good experience for full japanese tradition hotel, They provide comfort room, beautiful yugata, delicious and variety dinning and onsen. They have wagyu and other for the dinner. large onsen have public and private. the suvenior shop is more item to buy.

This hotel is situated on a spacious property, secluded from the town center and shops. While it features public baths and an on-site restaurant, The dinner and breakfast offered a delightful blend of Western and Japanese dishes, typical of most Japanese hotels. Our twin room, though a bit compact, provided a comfortable overnight stay. All amenities provided were satisfactory for a one-night stay, leaving no room for complaints. As most establishments in the vicinity close after 5 PM (except for convenience stores), there isn't much to do at the hotel besides enjoying the onsen. Therefore, be prepared for an early night in.

The onsen bathroom was spacious, bigger than some of the private ones we paid at other places. Room was big too. Location was perfect. There is a very very nice dinner place Sakamoto nearby, that serves very exquisite and yummy food with price extremely affordable. A little inconvenience if all 4 shared onsen bathrooms are taken, need to wait for your turn. Note that out of the 4 bathrooms, there are 2 rooms with 2 shower heads, and 2 rooms with only 1 shower head. So if more than 2 pax showering together, avoid going to the one with just 1 shower head.

2024/7/19 天気は曇り時々晴れ 蒸し暑い日 阿蘇 内牧温泉にある親和苑さんに宿泊させて頂きました。 親和苑さんへの道のりは狭い路地を通りますので対向車が来たらちょっと大変。 今回は親和苑さんの露天風呂付き離れ（白洲）に宿泊しました。 チェックインを部屋で済ませて 早速、露天風呂てイン！ 汗を流してしばし休息。 食事は朝夕ともに本館個室で頂きました。 朝夕とも品数も多く料理を堪能させて頂きました。とても美味しかったです。 海外（ネパール）から来た5年目となるスタッフさんも日本語も上手で説明も丁寧でした。これからも頑張って下さい！ 最後に温泉を堪能する上でバスタオルの常設枚数を1人1枚から1人2枚に増やして欲しいです！ご検討下さい！ 又、季節を変えてお伺いします！

Like the onsen in the hotel; onsen water is good and big enough for 6-7 person to use. Japanese breakfast served by staff was quite substantial and tasty. The room that we stayed is quiet and faces mountain and park. Bathroom a little small but clean. There wasn’t any wardrobe but there were hooks on the wall and hangers were provided.
