Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas

當時選這家酒店的原因在於，新，18年開業的，相比左右的St Regis和Park Hyatt都是2011年開的。Rotana是阿聯酋本土高端酒店品牌，服務水準確實和國際大品牌還是有一定差距的，比如：面對面客人時的表情，整體早餐的擺放，收餐的流程都有待提高。而且這次check in的服務真的很不好，我定的是海景帶lounge服務的房間，而酒店收到的訊息是花園景色的不帶lounge的房間，後現場找攜程兩個小時後才解決，最終也不知道是酒店還是攜程的問題。

We are just back from an amazing stay as Saadiyat Rotana. I can honestly say this is the best resort we have ever been to. The staff all deserve a mention as every single one of them are amazing and I be genuinely believe, they want you to have the best holiday ever. The resort is stunning. The beach is the only natural beach in UAE and is 9km of stunning pure white sand & torquoise sea. The restaurants are outstanding, in terms of quality of food and the staff/service. The decor is warm, contemporary and spotless. The service at the pool is outstanding thanks to the QR code on every table. Even if you don’t order for a while, the staff are over to make sure you are ok. Very nice touches, like cool boxes with ice and water for the pool are really nice. We were out on a kid free break, celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and we got champagne, cakes, lovely card, room decorations- the start honestly couldn’t have done anything more to help us celebrate. We are now already looking at coming out for our 2 week family holiday next summer as we can not wait to experience it with our teenage kids. I already know they will love it.

This was our second visit to this hotel, we find it works perfectly for an active summer holiday in Abu Dhabi. We stayed in a connecting family 2 bedroom suite which was absolutely huge with amazing sea views over Saadiyat beach. We stayed on a half board basis with access to club lounge. We picked this board basis because in the summer months it’s best to plan an air-con activity each day for a break from the sun so we found that we were out and about most days for lunch so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which worked well. What did we love: Huge 2 bedroom family suite with sea views, this room was fantastic. Two large bedrooms each with bathroom and then a lounge area with 3 balconies in total. The staff, the reason we have come back to this hotel is the amazing service we receive. All the staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help you, they give lots of attention to the kids and make you feel special. A special mention has to go to the club lounge ladies especially Kripa for making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Hamid for always sorting loungers by the pool for us and Dildar from concierge for amazing service and sorting out all our theme park tickets and transfers. The staff really make your stay special here. The pool, its a huge pool scene with a great depth for ball games and playing in all with a swim up bar. Lounger service is really quick, you order on an app and drinks and food are delivered to you. Lots of loungers and a separate area reserved for suit and villa guests. The kids pool consists of a shallow lazy river leading to twisty caves to a little pool with one water slide. The slide isn’t the fastest but still fun. In this area they also have a little play park, a toddler pool and the kids club. The beach, absolutely stunning with lots of loungers and cabanas. A little hot to enjoy in the summer but still beautiful to look at. There are 3 restaurants and the main buffet. Our favourite restaurant was Turtle Bay but all the food was lovely. The themed nights in the buffet are good also. The Club lounge is fantastic, we had breakfast in here most days as a lot more chilled than the main buffet. They also serve afternoon tea, and alcoholic drinks and canapés in the evening. If you are half board this is a fantastic option which helps keep the bill down for drinks and snacks. We also liked that they had a great gym, paddle tennis, a little football goal and a small putting green which we used in the evenings. What could be improved: It did seem like more surcharges were added to the menus from last year and if you have paid for all inclusive that might seem a bit odd. Hamiltons restaurant allows smoking indoors and that put us off as it was very smokey the evening we went. No evening entertainment, we never really expect this in the UAE but would be nice if there was some live music etc in the evenings or a games room for families in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel
