AUHotel - Zayed International Airport - Inside Transit Restricted area

I recently stayed at a hotel at Abu Dhabi Airport, and I have to say, it's a convenient option for travelers. The hotel operates on an hourly basis, so it's essential to confirm how long you want to stay—options include 3, 6, or 12 hours. I highly recommend booking for 6 or 12 hours, especially if you have an overnight flight, as booking randomly for 3 hours can end up costing you more. The hotel provides all the necessary services, including food. You can simply scan a QR code to order directly from the menu, and the food arrives at your room neatly packed in boxes. Additionally, right opposite the hotel is the Pearl Lounge, which is a great spot to relax. If you have apps like Trip.com, you can make the most of your stay. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a quick and comfortable layover at Abu Dhabi Airport!

The location is undeniably practical for travelers, but attention to detail in maintaining the rooms is crucial. Basic aspects such as room cleanliness, refreshed air, and clean towels should always be prioritized. Unfortunately, these elements seemed lacking during my stay. Additionally, the sink in my room was not functioning properly, which was an inconvenience. Given that there are no windows in the rooms, the hotel management could consider installing air purifiers or breezers to ensure a fresher atmosphere. Better sound isolation would also be beneficial, as external noise was quite noticeable and made it difficult to rest. Another issue was the in-room phone with a large, bright display—it was disruptive and made falling asleep more challenging. A simple dimmer or an option to turn it off would be a great improvement. Overall, this hotel has the potential to be an excellent option for transit passengers, but these small yet impactful improvements are needed to truly elevate the guest experience. With more attention to these details, it could become a top choice for travelers seeking comfort during layovers.

Having a 14hours layover during the night in Abu Dhabi it was the best option to stay on the hotel. The location is close to security next to the duty free area, the people are really nice and always willing to help, the are available 24/7 at the front desk and even helped me with my bag to my room. The room was cozy and nice with AC, perfect for a short stay
