Jika anda tertanya-tanya “Adakah rakyat Malaysia memerlukan visa untuk melancong ke Australia?”, anda berada di tempat yang betul. Adakah Rakyat Malaysia Memerlukan Visa untuk Melawat Australia?
Ya, bagi warganegara Malaysia perlu visa untuk melawat Australia. Untuk lawatan singkat (pelancongan/perniagaan ≤3 bulan setiap masuk), pilihan biasa ialah:
- Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) – Subclass 601
- Mohon melalui aplikasi “Australian ETA” sahaja.
- Caj perkhidmatan sekitar AUD $20. ( Caj perkhidmatan tidak boleh dikembalikan)
- Sah hingga 12 bulan (kemasukan berganda), maksimum 3 bulan setiap lawatan.

🗂️ Jenis Visa untuk Rakyat Malaysia Melancong ke Australia
Berikut jenis visa/permit paling relevan untuk rakyat Malaysia yang mahu melancong (atau lawatan ringkas) ke Australia:
Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) – Subkelas 601
- Untuk lawatan pelancongan atau perniagaan jangka pendek.
- Mohon hanya melalui aplikasi mudah alih “Australian ETA” (Android/iOS).
- Sah sehingga 12 bulan, membenarkan kemasukan berulang, maksimum 3 bulan setiap masuk.
- Terdapat caj perkhidmatan ~AUD 20 bagi permohonan melalui aplikasi.
Peraturan Penting
- Tidak dibenarkan bekerja atau menerima bayaran di Australia
- Pemohon mesti memenuhi syarat kesihatan dan rekod jenayah (character requirements)
- Pegawai imigresen boleh meminta dokumen tambahan jika perlu
Visitor Visa – Subkelas 600 (Tourist Stream / Business Visitor Stream)

Visa ini tidak membenarkan pemegangnya bekerja di Australia.
Transit Visa – Subkelas 771
- Untuk transit sehingga 72 jam ketika dalam perjalanan ke negara ketiga, termasuk untuk menaiki kapal (crew/passenger tertentu).
- Sesetengah penumpang yang memenuhi syarat boleh transit tanpa visa (TWOV). Semak kelayakan anda.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney was by far our favourite hotel of the entire trip. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and we absolutely loved the view of the iconic Clock Tower—it made our stay even more memorable.

This hotel is pretty good overall. The lobby has a great vibe, much better decorated than many places that claim to be 5-star. The surrounding area is really nice; Darling Harbour is right downstairs, and it's a quick walk to Chinatown. Plus, the neighborhood feels safe and not chaotic, so I think it offers great value for money. In Australia, you always have to ask for toothbrushes and slippers, which can be a bit of a hassle, but generally speaking, it was a good stay. The bed was notably larger than many other hotels, which was a real plus. We had a fantastic stay at Paradox Hotel Sydney. The location is excellent — super central and very easy to get to, whether you’re coming in by car or public transport. It’s right near plenty of great bars and restaurants, so there’s always something happening nearby and lots of options within walking distance.
The room was very clean and a great size, with plenty of space to relax. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. The hotel staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
We also made the most of the amenities — the pool and spa were a highlight and a great way to unwind after being out in the city. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Paradox Hotel Sydney to others looking for a central and comfortable place to stay.DariSAR 671

We are family of 4 staying for 3 nights. The location is superb & so much convenience. Can easily get light rail tram & all shopping and amenities just surround the hotel. Buffet may not the best but reasonable for the price. Customer service is friendly and approachable at anytime. The only downside is one of the lift is under servicing and only left 2 lift to service all room to 25th floor. Every morning we have to wait at least 15 mins to get in the lift. A bit of a hit and miss. Some things were brilliant (great barista made coffee at breakfast! Eco friendly with even their teabags!) and some things were not so brilliant (massive queues to check in and check out as only 2 desks! Only found out on the last day of our 6 day stay that there was a breakfast menu you can order from and not only eat from the buffet but staff never offered it! Random maintenance men entering our room at 9am even thought we pre-agreed the time was to be 12 noon! No heating in first room leading to a change in rooms but without a bathtub and without apologies! Had to wait til 1am for a small portable fan heater to be delivered and heat the room! Credit offered for no heating not actually being applied to the final invoice! Room service ordering app doesn’t work! Etc etc). Apartment hotel suitable for group of 4. Sofa outside toilet is a very interesting layout. Kitchen equipped with kitchenette but ventilation was bad.
Sound proofing was horrible, can literally hear other units chatting and/or bickering away. Toilet equipped with jacuzzi was a bonus for a long day out. Shower area is small and flood easily. Washer and dryer also located in toilet. Side note - laundry detergent is payable, so BYO.
Coffee machine at lobby was a nice touch but during our stay, only 1 machine was working. Mugs are for lobby usage, could be nice if can provide several paper cups especially for early day trip out and patrons need a cup on the go.

Absolutely superb hotel. The location is obviously perfect, being just a couple of minutes from Circular Quay train station and on top of the wharf for ferries to everywhere as well as just across the road from the Royal Botanic Garden and a short stroll from the Sydney Opera House. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the ned of our stay and rightly recommended the breakfast where everything was cokked to order (no sad breakfast buffet here). The best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I think the best thing I noticed is the cleanliness and the travellers who were checking in because they are all well-mannered. It was a bummer that it was fully booked on my last day on Sydney. The table can be checked-in at three o'clock. When the time arrived, there was still no key in the post box. Later, they called and replied that they had not cleaned it. Service: The service was incredibly attentive! The lobby manager noticed our confused looks and proactively came over to ask if we needed help, then resolved our issues. The hotel is very clean, and the check-in area on Level 7 is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of seating if you arrive early and need to wait before check-in. The facilities are quite new and well maintained. Daily housekeeping was excellent and consistently done to a high standard.

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid.
What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though.
However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.DariSAR 505

Booked at oaks last minute funny enough for oaks day at Flemington for three night trained it in mid morning left bags at hotel and took off for the day I received a warm greeting and location close to the train station just a 5 mixture walk .
Came back to hotel later afternoon to be given a beautiful warm greeting once again and to arrive on level 29 that I asked for a high level was granted I open up my room to the most beautiful room with the most beautiful view of Melbourne .
Not only that but was given a two bedroom apartment that was a absolute treat for me as I was catching up with family and they came and visited me in my room and was able to stay over with me one night more arrived over that weekend for afternoon tea and we watched the races together they also loved my room and the view just as much as I did thank you .
As a single traveler I felt safe and was able to walk all around Melbourne as the location was amazing for me .
With 24 hour reception and friendly team to help was an absolute delight to stay there must say was the top hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I hope I can return to the same service very soon .but I don’t know how I’m going to top off my experience .
Not sure if I can explain how great and relaxed I felt staying in such a well run hotel at a great cost and as a person that loves a bit of fancy every now and then you really did impress me well done to all you truly made me one very happy lady thank you .
Last note nothing was ever a problem had a beautiful shower so clean and spotless kitchen washer dryer how amazing how am I going to top this place off .

It seems the room has not been cleaned thoroughly. There is still dust in several areas, and the kitchen , oven and refrigerator do not appear very clean, as if they were not wiped properly. Service was fabulous. Leslie was absolutely wonderful to deal with, a joy. The apartment was a great layout with everything you need for a short stay. First of all, the hotel does not have a reception desk. You need to contact the service staff to check in later or soon. If you don't speak English well, do your homework in advance or choose another room.
Geographical environment: 8-10 minutes walk to crown business district (take a 6-year-old child). The Crown business district is full of food, shopping and casinos. There are many supermarkets in the downstairs for a minute or two. You can buy food and cook, and provide daily living supplies. Very convenient.
Room facilities: The hotel is a bit like a homestay. In a comprehensive apartment. You need to swipe the magnetic card to get in and out, which is relatively safe. The overall space is large, but both bedrooms are 1.5 meters small beds. The kitchen has pans, cutlery, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher. But there is no seasoning. Cooking a light meal should be OK. Due to the folklore nature, there is no daily cleaning service. There is a swimming pool in the building.
Parking charges, $ 25 a day. Just come in and out. Friends who drive are highly recommended. City parking is too expensive. It's a good deal to take a taxi.
Disadvantages:
1. Give Ctrip. When booking, it was not marked clearly, I thought there was a hotel with a front desk. Stupidly arrived and found out that it was a homestay type. The current homeowner couldn't get through to the phone, and there was no place to stop and jump straight. Later, the host came and said that Ctrip only told us to check in at 5 o'clock, and did not give the host the contact information, so he was not prepared. Check-in at five is my time for Ctrip, but we flew from Brisbane, that is only approximate time. If Ctrip protects my personal privacy, I will not give the owner contact information, but at least I have to contact me Tell me how to check in, let me contact the owner in advance! !!
2. The overall health of the room is ok, but the smell is really bad. It feels like a guest cooking too much. Hope you can do a good job of ventilation.Breakfast

Permohonan laman web rasmi: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/, Anda boleh log masuk ke sistem ETA di laman web rasmi Jabatan Imigresen Australia untuk memohon.
A) Mohon ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) – Subkelas 601
- Semak kelayakan & sediakan pasport (masih sah).
- Muat turun aplikasi mudah alih “Australian ETA” (iOS/Android). Semua pemohon ETA wajib guna app ini.
- Sediakan telefon dengan kamera + NFC & lokasi diaktifkan, serta e-mel aktif (disyorkan oleh Suruhanjaya Tinggi Australia di KL).
- Isi butiran dalam app, imbas pasport & swafoto mengikut arahan.
- Bayar caj perkhidmatan ~AUD 20 dalam aplikasi (tiada “visa application charge” berasingan untuk ETA).
- Terima keputusan secara digital – ETA dipautkan kepada pasport anda; tiada pelekat visa.
ETA lazimnya sah hingga 12 bulan, kemasukan berganda, maksimum 3 bulan setiap lawatan.
B) Mohon Visitor Visa – Subkelas 600 (jika tidak layak ETA / perlukan tinggal lebih lama)
- Pilih aliran yang sesuai (contoh: Tourist stream (outside Australia) atau Business Visitor).
- Cipta/Log masuk ImmiAccount dan mulakan permohonan atas talian.
- Sediakan dokumen sokongan (pasport, foto, bukti dana, itinerari, surat majikan/cuti, undangan jika ada, dsb.) mengikut arahan di laman Home Affairs.
- Bayar yuran yang berkaitan dalam ImmiAccount.
- Biometrik (jika diminta): anda akan terima surat arahan biometrik; tempah janji temu di VFS Global Kuala Lumpur dan hadir untuk cap jari & foto.
- Pantau mesej dalam ImmiAccount untuk sebarang permintaan maklumat tambahan & keputusan. Visa (jika diluluskan) dipautkan secara elektronik kepada pasport anda.
Tips penting
- Jangan beli tiket/tempah hotel tidak boleh dikembalikan wang sebelum visa diluluskan. (Amalan selamat semasa memohon.)
- Transit sahaja? Semak Transit visa (771) atau TWOV (transit tanpa visa) jika layak.
