Oasis

The room was quite nice and views were good. Clean. Easy to park. It would have been nice to be greeted upon arrival or at least given some information the next morning about where to visit. Breakfast was simpke and a bit crowded as inside but that was due to the weather!

Stayed at the Oasis from 20 to 25 October with my wife as have family in nearby Catania. The B&B itself is on the first floor of an apartment block and is in a great location overlooking the seafront within easy walk of the local restaurants and bars in Acitrezza. The rooms/ furniture are quite modern which seem recently decorated and are also comfortable and clean. We had a sea view room with shared terrace. We actually had to rearrange our booking to arrive a day earlier for which they were very accommodating. So we had the smaller room, (no sea view), on the first night which was also clean and comfortable before being transferred following day to our larger room. Continental breakfast on the terrace in the mornings with a view of Aci Castello across the bay was also lovely start to the day. The host was always very helpful during our stay. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to others if we return to Acitrezza.

Punti negativi: - al momento della prenotazione ci è stato detto che si poteva pagare o in contanti all’arrivo oppure con bonifico bancario anticipato perché nella struttura non vi era il pos - all’arrivo nella camera erano presenti due capelli neri evidenti e le lenzuola presentavano delle macchioline di sporco - ogni tanto comparivano delle formiche - i muri della stanza erano segnati da graffi neri - il doccino non è ben fissato e rimane sú solo se si mette alto la potenza dell’acqua - i mobili sono di scarsa qualità - si sente qualsiasi rumore proveniente dalle stanze vicine..anche le persone che russano quando dormono! - una sera ci è cascato in testa un pesciolino d’argento (insetto che si presenta quando una stanza non viene ben arieggiata e all’ombra e amano mangiare il legno) Non abbiamo voluto fare le classiche clienti rompi scatole che si lamentano quindi ci siamo volute adeguare senza creare situazioni di imbarazzo per il proprietario. - abbiamo prenotato un garage privato e al nostro arrivo ci siamo rese conto che era strettissimo infatti dopo qualche ora abbiamo urtato la macchina contro la muretta e il gestore della struttura ci ha chiesto €200 per riparare un piccolo graffio sul marmo e non voleva nemmeno darci una fattura quindi ci siamo rivolti alla assicurazione della macchina che copriva anche questi danni e non abbiamo tirato fuori un soldo! State attenti a non farvi imbrogliare con questi tentativi di richieste di denaro! - alla partenza ci è stata data una ricevuta che più ricevuta sembrava un foglietto svolazzante giusto per lasciare un pezzo di carta dell’avvenuto pagamento Punti positivi: - la struttura si affaccia sul lungo mare - La camera veniva pulita ogni giorno - Il letto era confortevole Detto ciò non ci ritornerò più.

Camera Deluxe con Vista Mare é definitivamente la piú bella tra tutte. La localitá di Acitrezza é uno spettacolo. Bed and Breakfast con Menú Buffet- anche per vegetariani- Tutto gustoso. Anche i Ristoranti/ Trattorie che ci sono nelle vicinanze offrono cibo freschissimo con prezzi modici. Noi abbiamo festeggiato i nostri 30 anni di Matrimonio- e ringraziamo di cuore per averci arricchito in modo positivo il nostro giorno!
