Overall, it was a decent stay for our one night baby moon trip. We were able to check-in early than 3pm and the services are great from front desk and the room service. The only thing that needed improvement is the cleanliness - the room is clean but upon check in, there are few bits and pieces of plastic or probably little clean up leftover from the house keeping. Not a big deal but if this can be further improved, it can definitely make the stay more great. Other than that, the only thing I'm not very satisfied is the pillows were too soft that it’s affected my sleep and slightly hurt my neck and shoulder. We did request for additional pillows and they did provided us with extras. Hope the team can look into this and further improved as we really enjoyed our stay.

I booked the Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre for F1 during the National Day holiday, knowing it would be late and hotel prices would be heavily inflated. I chose this Pullman after extensive research and comparing many reviews. However, right after booking, prices kept dropping due to the Indonesian haze… frustrating 😓. The hotel itself is an older upscale chain with a certain sense of history. The facilities are quite dated; the overall decor, air conditioning, hairdryer, and iron all show their age, but they are maintained relatively cleanly. Noise is a major issue: 1) There's a construction site right outside the hotel. 2) The door gaps are very wide, offering no sound insulation (and I was given a room near the elevator, so I could hear people checking in late every night). 3) The air conditioning unit is old and makes a clunking noise when operating. There are still some positives: The buffet breakfast offers a good variety and tastes decent, and there's plenty of seating, so you rarely have to queue. There's an outdoor pool and gym on the 10th floor, both well-maintained. The location is also quite good; Pavilion is just across the road, but note that you can't just walk straight across as there's no crosswalk. You have to walk about 300 meters to use the pedestrian bridge (the same bridge also leads directly to the Petronas Twin Towers). Overall, it's decent. Shopping and dining in the vicinity are well-covered. However, the value for money significantly drops during holidays. If you can get it for a few hundred during off-peak times, it would be excellent value, given its prime location.

The service was friendly and satisfactory, although there is still a little room for improvement in terms of service efficiency. The hotel also offers good amenities and facilities for both leisure and family stays. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again. A comfortable hotel with a great location and good value for a city stay.

The check-in experience was very good. Someone came to help push the luggage when I got of the bus. Although you can't check in early if you arrive early, you can also check in your luggage for free. During check-in, there are also staff to help deliver the luggage to the door of the room, and will also explain where to eat if you need a hotel buffet breakfast the next morning. The service is considerate! Check out is also very smooth and there is no need to wait! The security is also very good. There will be several guards downstairs! Needless to say, hygiene is very clean 👍 More than Rm300 per night ➕ Breakfast Such service and room quality are excellent 🥰 It would be better if we could occasionally have some preferential activities 🤩

We booked this hotel based on the reviews but it was different from what we expected. We stayed there for a week and unfortunately, our initial room was right next to the elevator and had no windows. It was extremely noisy and we could hear everyone passing by in the hallway. Eventually, they moved us to another room which was a bit quieter. Cleanliness was just okay, not great. We had to ask housekeeping to change the bedsheets because they were stained, and the bathroom cleanliness was also average. Although the staff were friendly, they weren’t very professional in handling complaints. When we raised our concerns, the response was basically, 'It is what it is.'

I read many reviews saying the area was unsafe, but after arriving, I realized it was mainly due to the market behind the hotel. We didn't encounter any safety issues during our stay, and walking around a few times was perfectly normal. The hotel service was great. Housekeeping was thorough every day, and after breakfast, the staff would always greet and thank us. If your room doesn't include breakfast, you can buy it the night before for a 10 MYR discount per person; don't wait until the morning of. There's an outdoor infinity pool on the 25th floor with nice views. My only complaints are about the room's soft furnishings, which felt a bit rough. The curtains weren't wide enough to fully cover the window, no matter how you pulled them. The bathroom door had a large gap, letting light through even when closed. Also, the shower area didn't have a door, so we had to use a towel to block the water when showering. While these didn't affect our rest, I suggest the hotel improve these aspects if possible.

There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, making it convenient to get around. The hotel environment is also quite good. Our room was very quiet as it had sealed windows. While not large, the room was well-equipped. The twin beds were a bit narrow but could be pushed together, which worked perfectly for a family of three. Another plus is the Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, who were friendly and enthusiastic in helping Chinese guests with any issues. The hotel's swimming pool and gym are also decent, and breakfast was acceptable. Overall, if you can book it for under 500 (MYR/RMB), it's a highly recommended budget hotel with good value for money.

Stayed at DoubleTree KL and, to my surprise, it’s actually inside a mall! 😆 Super convenient. The room was superb, with a beautiful KL city view — and yes, you can see KLCC from the room! 🏙️The swimming pool and sauna were probably my favourite parts of the stay. There’s also a 24-hour gym, which is a big plus. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and of course, you get the signature DoubleTree cookies upon arrival. 🍪 Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable stay. My only small complaint: no comb provided in the room. 😂

The room is spacious and clean. Perhaps our room is not facing the main road, we do get peaceful night rest (love it). As we booked the executive club, we were entitled to the club benefits, where we enjoyed ourselves every evening with great snacks and drinks, served by Audray. He is cheerful and attentive. He is always ready to clear the table in a timely manner, and make sure we get the help we need. In the morning, you can choose to have breakfast at level 3 cafe with a wider range of food choices, or you can choose to have a quiet breakfast in the lounge, served by White. Even though the food choice is lesser compared to the cafe, the food was yummy and sufficient. The swimming pool is small, enough if you just want a quick dip. I am not a gym person, but it is available. This hotel is connected to lalaport by bridge. Is convenient and easily accessible. BTW there is this massage opposite - Asia Oasis. They provide a 10% discount to Furama staying guests.

Booking Shaw's Inn was definitely the best decision I made on this trip! It's located on the edge of Bukit Bintang. The hotel is probably a four-star, a little bit old but offers excellent value for money. The top floor has a swimming pool and a gym. You can even see half of the Twin Towers' night view from inside the hotel. There's a Starbucks right at the front desk, and the rooms come with a mini-fridge, welcome drinks, and a coffee machine. The breakfast was also fantastic; I booked a room with breakfast for two people for just over 400. Downstairs, there's a super delicious chicken rice place, and the durian stall (called Yes) across the street is incredibly tasty and cheap. Across the road is a 7-Eleven, but I highly recommend the local supermarket called KK instead – everything there is much cheaper than 7-Eleven, including food and drinks. So, it perfectly met all my basic needs. The main thing is, it's easy to get a taxi! Very convenient for getting around! The service attitude was also great. Highly recommended. They require a deposit upon check-in; we paid in RMB cash since we didn't have Malaysian Ringgit, and it was returned immediately upon check-out.

Quite a surprise! I booked this hotel last minute, and the price was great. After checking in, I found it to be very clean and much quieter than the hotel next door. It has a pool, and when you store your luggage, they give you a proper tag, unlike other hotels where they just haphazardly leave it at the front desk. After a long day of sightseeing, I was too tired to go out, so I ordered takeout to the hotel. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Banyan Tree does not disappoint. The zen-like retreat atmosphere and the super attentive staff reminds me of the first trip I made here last year. Right from the start at check in, you are well taken care of with the welcome package - the iced hibiscus tea and cookie and towel. Then you proceed to choose your scent for your room. Special kudos to the wellness initiatives on the TV, just a tad pity that the physical activities were not available. The breakfast was top notch quality with both ala carte and self service buffet selections. I'll be back!

Nice Room with a Lovely KL Tower View I had a pleasant stay at Flora by Crossroads Hotel. I stayed on the first floor in a room facing the main road, with a lovely view of KL Tower. The room itself was comfortable and suitable for a short stay. The hot shower worked well and was one of the things I enjoyed during my stay. The bathroom could use a little more attention in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. There were some visible stains on the walls and floor, the basin was draining slowly, and the toilet had a minor leakage issue. Just a small reminder for the housekeeping team to remember to replace the complimentary drinking water for the next guest, as it may have simply been overlooked during room preparation. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and especially the KL Tower view. With a little more attention to bathroom cleanliness, maintenance and room preparation, the overall guest experience could be even better.

The room itself is clean, cozy, and very comfortable. What really stood out to me was the bed — the pillows and mattress were incredibly soft, easily among the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. Everything worked well too: strong hot shower, cold air conditioning, and free WiFi provided. There’s also a mini mart right below the hotel, which is super convenient if you don’t feel like heading out for food or essentials. Overall, this is a great choice for an affordable staycation — especially if you’re looking for a quiet environment without sacrificing comfort or location.
