We stay in a nice little villa which was clean and tidy. Great walking distance to the beach and from our little villa is has a great little view. Loved the little birds that were in the native bottle brushes outside our front door while having breakfast. Please keep trimmed so you don’t loose that bit of view. 👌👌👌 we will be back.

It's low season. I saw only 2 groups of guests (2 people per group) including mine during our stay. We occupied the best room type (2-bedroom) with kitchenette, hot shower, heater in the dining room, TV, heater to the bedding which is a hearty touch in such a cold area. It can accommodate 7 to 8 people in the room. Very quiet, we only heard waves at the beach which's at the opposite side of the main road about the front of our house. I read many negative comments on the male host (Scott?) before our stay, but our actual experience is that he's ok, we didn't feel anything bad about him. He is kind to advise us the best location to watch stars and southern lights. The worst thing that we must mention is the poor quality of water which is brownish yellow. So we dared not use the tap water for cooking or drinking. This is very undesirable.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The tap water was yellow, which made it unsafe for both drinking and showering — especially difficult in the cold weather. The kettle provided was rusty and not usable. To make things worse, reception was closed after 6pm, so there was no way to get help or raise these issues. Basic needs were not met, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Surrounding of cabin was messy perhaps it being a caravan park. Water that came out of the tap was yellow which makes it unusable to drink. Kettle provided looks rusty . We arrived late and found reception closed hence unable to get someone to help

Clean cabin. Clean beds. All necessary amenities are acailable. Easy self check in and check out.

My place is clean, very natural, close to the sea, and has a kitchen.

It’s a very good place. You can see the stars as soon as you go out. It’s a pity that Te’s whereabouts were lost when you were staying. You can also see white kangaroos nearby. It’s a very good place and you can cook. It’s close to Adventure Bay, which is convenient for taking a boat out to sea for the second time.

The kitchen utensils are complete but the cleanliness is average, and the countertops feel greasy. The bathroom is fully equipped with a heating lamp, but the water temperature of the shower head is alternately hot and cold, and the water flow is average. The bedroom is old, the clothes drying rack is also stuffed into the closet, and the bed has an electric heating pad. The advantage is that it is very close to the Bruny Island Cruise departure point, so you can easily meet there in the morning. Close to Adventure Bay, the scenery is beautiful and the sound of waves is constant, making you feel cheerful.

The location of the hotel is okay, and the equipment inside is very complete, but you have to buy aluminum foil and use the oven. When you go out at night, you will meet many nocturnal animals. The starry sky is beautiful at night

Damaged-edge cooking tools without renewing. Wrong WiFi password provided. Tried to get help from the hostel keeper but he refused. Keeper told me these aren’t his fault and he cannot help. All the local Australians gave me and my family impressive helpful manner with passion except this hostel keeper. Really disappointed with this hostel and Trip.com didn’t reply to my problem during my stay.

As a solo traveller who has spent a year staying in Australian caravan parks, I can honestly say this was the worst experience ever. Despite the idyllic location of the park, I found my recent stay distressing and disappointing. I preface my review by stating that I am aware the park has been sold, with new owners taking over very soon. My comments refer to the staff and amenities prior to this change. Firstly, I want to thank the previous female owner who has always displayed courtesy, respect and patience towards the customers and residents. It is a hectic, challenging role, not helped by the long-standing behaviour of the previous male owner. Secondly, the previous male owner behaved in a despicable way. I had been forewarned, so avoided him when possible, but my few encounters with him were unpleasant. Then, at 11.30 pm one night, whilst drinking with a group of his friends who were staying in the park, the previous owner decided to turn the music up FULL VOLUME. Not only did he wake up most park residents, but he also broke his own (park management) rules. When politely asked to turn the music down by another park guest, I witnessed him threaten to STAB that person. Yes, you read that correctly. The matter has been reported to the local Police, pending formal charges. Thirdly, the standard of the amenities blocks, laundry, and camp kitchen is very poor. There are limited toilets and showers, they are unclean, and the showers (which cost $1 for 5 minutes) are either scalding, lukewarm, or not working. The laundry equipment is also unclean, making the time and expense involved in doing a load of laundry pointless. The camp kitchen is so basic, it can't really be described as a kitchen. Finally, good luck to the new owners, who appear to be genuinely charming, enthusiastic, and professional. Just as well, as they have a lot of work ahead of them.
