Summer Sky Beach Resort

First place we stayed where they had a Smart TV so we had access to Netflix. At the very end of the beach so you have some space to yourself. We stayed in the newer mountain view huts which was great.

It was a great location. Cottages were great. Rooms clean. Food was good. Narendra did a great job for us making cocktails and another folically challenged fellow also was a star who fixed us up with a lot of requirements (sorry I don't remember his name) However, place was a little understaffed. The 2-3 people working there were overloaded and had to ***age the work for a lot of guests. They were at the place first thing in the morning and through the night. Sometimes we felt bad asking them to do more work, and there were minor inconveniences like no towels the day we checked in, and we didn't wanna ask staff because we landed post midnight. They really need to get more staff so that work can be done in shifts, instead of overworking the few staff members they have (who gave us amazing service)

The place is one good find for us. Our bad luck that we just stayed for one day here. Next time we will stretch it at least one more day. As evident, right on the beach. Rooms are nice. We stayed in one of the beach facing rooms. They are clean and well furnished. ACs are also nice. Most importantly people are just great, so cordial, so friendly. Catered to all orders we placed. The shack is beautiful, especially the lighting. Food was fresh and nice. You see sunset from the shack. Will truly recommend... Any time

Summersky Beach Resort is the last hotel at the southern end of Agonda beach. If you're looking for peace and relaxation - and Agonda is pretty chilled and peaceful to begin with - you'll find it here. We rented one of the four cabins with beach views. They cost a bit more but hey you're on holiday. And the view is stunning, from sunrise to sunset. We thought the room was lovely, clean, cool with a/c and fan, comfy bed, and good bathroom. No criticisms at all. Thumbs up all round! Next door you'll find the Cafe Mudra ( think that's the spelling?) which is in effect the hotel restaurant. There's a LOT of choice of restaurants in Agonda with hotel restaurants and independent restaurants all ***** the beach road. There's nothing outstanding about this one compared to the others we tried, but the food is perfectly good. The menu is pretty much the same as eateries all ***** the beach with Indian/Goan food plus s bit of pasta, noodles and pizza. So its convenient for breakfast and evening meals but we also enjoyed heading out to Zest, Dolce Vita and others for a bit of variety. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Cheers in particular to Nori and Raj. Overall, a fab place to stay, hopefully we'll be back some day.

Excellent location. The very last property on the South End of Agonda, by the mountain. Lovely view. Rooms kept clean, functional. Restaurant below average. Service at the restaurant very poor. Watch out for correct billing on food. The restaurant next door at Dream Discovery very good with food and service.
