Me and my family are extremely upset regarding the holiday we booked with Thomas cook. We booked 7 nights at the Golden beach resort and spa and could not believe what we arrived to. The hotel was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. We made Thomas cool aware of this the first day we arrived. We had to change rooms three times and eventually after two and half days of contacting Thomas Cook via what's app we moved hotels. The hotel had no wifi (this was advertised as being available when we booked) due to having no wifi we found it extremely hard to contact Thomas Cook when we eventually got connected to a hotel staffs hot spot on their personal phone we managed to contact Thomas Cook, my partner spent at least 10 hours in the reception trying to message Thomas cook, who only advised us for the first night and try resolve the situation the next day. We had to move rooms three times. After sending Thomas Cook pictures of how bad the hotel was, we finally got moved this took two and a half days away from our holiday. What you have advertised on your website is not what we arrived to. The rooms were dirty, my daughters mattress was black in the 3rd room we had. She was given a fold out chair as a bed with no pillow or blanket in the first two rooms. The shower had no door resulting to the bathroom floor flooding, making itextremely slippery, and was so dirty, covered in black mould. The private beach attached to the hotel, was filthy covered in broken glass, the water was littered with rubbish, the dirty sand, and drains in the ground were not covered appropriately. The first two rooms had no working fridge and in the third room the fridge was smelly and could not be used. No kettle in any of the rooms or hangers for the wardrobe. The safe was broken in all 3 rooms resulting in having to carry around our money and passport as we felt it unsafe the leave in the room with no safe to store it in. Our rooms were on the third and fourth floor, the lift was broke meaning we had to carry all our luggage up and down numerous flights of stairs. My eleven year old daughter was served a beer by the waiter when we asked for an apple juice which she drunk and spat out. My daughter spent the day in A%E when we got back to the uk she was really unwell after spending two nights at the hotel and was stuck in the room in our new hotel due to being unwell. The food at the golden beach was awful, nothing was labled, it was a far cry from the pictures. We ate out, and had to get taxis into town to eat in restaurants, costing us money we shouldn't have had to spend. The balcony had a bottle of urine on it, and was so small one person could just about fit on it. The chair and table in every balcony was broken and couldn't be used.
