The hotel is marketed as 3+star which is generous in the extreme. We arrived late at night - 4x70+yo adults. Staff tried to fob us off with the 1 key per room but after insisting very strenously we were eventually given 2keys per room; we paid extra to 'upgrade' to a seaview room however the rooms were filthy, bedding was not clean or even fit to lay on. Rooms were tiny, bathroom was very small, we had to request maintenance to change the shower hose and generally unclean, tired and dated! Now, the food... Nothing was labelled, food was reheated, not fresh and when we tried to speak to anyone we were shouted at by male staff/management who tried to intimidate us and dismiss us and our worries about what the food was. 2 of us became sick with food poisoning on day 2 and when I contacted reception at 1am to inform them that I had been very sick and had to use some towels to clean up I was told that the room could not be cleaned or the dirty towels be removed until 5pm when cleaners would be in. The other 2 in our party became sick on day 3! We of course couldn't eat anything in the hotel for risk of becoming seriously unwell,by day 4 I was looking to get a flight home! The rep saw us on day 5 and took our issues on board, spoke with management and miraculously things marginally improved with their attitude and conduct but not with any quality control over food and beverages. Everything is at a premium and nothing is included in this 'all inclusive' deal so I would advise everyone and anyone to be very wary of travelling to this place! Over the years I've been to many wonderful hotels where I've had some incredible holidays in Turkey but this place and all who work there have no clue how to be a successful tourist destination, or even a shred of humanity!
