Varandas de Albufeira

Had read the mixed reviews so was not sure what to expect. The room was a decent size with good sized balcony. It was spotlessly clean and I really could not fault! The location was perfect and only 20 min walk or 3€ in taxi to Old Town. Pool was lovely, lots of free beds to sun yourself, only downside bar and pool closed at 6:30 pm but that will not stop me returning. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning myself soon😁

Don’t come here!! Absolutely ridiculous, me and my friends come here on a holiday to get away the staff are rude, we had a grow man (who was a staff member) follow us to our room at 2 in the morning for no reason. Do not recommend not a safe place to stay!!!

This hotel felt like a youth hostel doesn’t feel like a proper hotel avoid room 402 room was so dark depressing with a tree blocking the view ! Only place I enjoy was Old Town and everything else was a great holiday shame about this hotel won’t be back again.

Stayed for four nights and didn't really have that many complaints. We were on the 3rd floor, which is where you enter the hotel. The rooms clean. Tidied every day. Had everything we needed. The beds comfy. My only criticisms are that there is no entertainment. The bar closed at 7pm and waz really expensive. 10€ for a gin. There was little to buy from the vending machine. I would have preferred a double bed as opposed to two singles. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Hotel is fine. Not necessarily a 4 star hotel though. More like 3. Little things like … they provide a kettle and a coffee machine in the room but no coffee pods or tea bags. Most places provide these things. (However, there is an excellent supermarket at the end of the street) Rooms could do with a lick of paint. You don’t know the restaurant is only open for breakfast until you get here. And the bar and pool close at either 7 or 8 depending who you ask. Fernando on reception is lovely. If you’re booking with Jet2 and have a transfer booked from the airport, make sure you ask the driver for directions to the hotel. The drop off is down the hill at The Miramar hotel. This is NOT the Emeralds hotel as we were told by the driver.. “it’s changed its name” No it hasn’t dude, it’s the wrong hotel! This is mentioned several times in the reviews and yet nothing seems to have changed. Come on Jet2 do something about the drivers. We were sent on a wild goose chase to find the hotel in 28 degree heat in the middle of the day. Luckily Steve the Jet2 rep was able to get us an early check in. That’s another thing to mindful of… if your flight is an early one, you cannot check in until around 4 pm. Would I stay here again, probably not.

Schoon app Erg behulpzaam personeel Heerlijk ontbijt. Airco deed het niet, maar kregen een andere kamer. Mooie ligging Heerlijk zwembad waar geen strenge badmeester was , heerlijk met je bermuda zwemmen of met een bal overgooien,alles kon.
